Tottenham are keeping close tabs on the situation of winger Manor Solomon with the ongoing military tensions between Israel and Iran having left him unable to depart his home nation. The 25-year-old Israel international was caught in the country following his wedding to Dana Voshina as civilian flights were suspended due to the closure of Israeli airspace.

Having bounced back from a severe knee injury, the winger played a pivotal role at Leeds last season while on loan, contributing to their Championship title win and Premier League promotion. A Spurs representative told PA: "We are constantly in regular dialogue with all our players regarding their wellbeing and welfare."

After an earlier loan spell at Fulham, Solomon, who signed with Tottenham from Shakhtar Donetsk in summer 2023, is scheduled to rejoin the north Londoners for pre-season training in July.

Thomas Frank, who recently replaced Ange Postecoglou as manager, is set to mould his team for the upcoming season in the transfer window aand is keen to be reunited with Bryan Mbeumo.

Tottenham has cemented Mathys Tel's transfer from Bayern Munich on a lengthy six-year contract after his impressive loan stint.

Despite ending a disappointing 17th place in the Premier League, their all-time lowest finish, Spurs secured a Champions League spot thanks to their Europa League final victory against Manchester United in what was Postecoglou's final game in charge.
