On Tuesday, Marca reported agents close to Tottenham Hotspur insist the club have made an offer for Rodrygo and are awaiting Real Madrid’s response.

Son Heung-min has agreed to leave Spurs and is in the process of completing a move to Los Angeles FC.

Tottenham have identified the Real Madrid player as the main target to replace Son. This has already been reported in Spain and Cadena Ser backs it up when covering the latest.

It’s claimed the Europa League winners haven’t tabled a formal offer for the 24-year-old. They still want him and are prioritising his arrival this summer.

The report adds Thomas Frank’s side plan to send a €60m offer to Real Madrid ‘this week’.

Rodrygo lost his place under Xabi Alonso at the Club World Cup and Marca reported on Tuesday that his situation is unlikely to change. Cadena Ser state Los Blancos believe he should leave as his sale will help their finances.

The attacker continues to train with the Spanish giants, hoping to change Alonso’s mind.
