Tottenham Hotspur have two of the best young players in the Premier League out on loan this season. Center back Luka Vuskovic has been a sensation and somehow even better than Spurs supporters were advertising him to the world this past summer, as he is a legitimate Bundesliga Team of the Season level player for Hamburg and a big reason why the Bundesliga dinosaurs are optimistic they can cobble together a survival season in 2025/26.
Meanwhile, the big attacking gem, winger Mikey Moore, is scoring some wonderful goals and dazzling on a near weekly basis for Rangers. His start to the season was definitely a rough one, but with a better manager and upgraded performances from the players around him, the England youth international has the confidence to let his quality shine through.
Moore and Vuksovic are almost written in permanent marker as future Tottenham superstars, but there is one more young forward who is turning heads. Winger Yang Min-Hyeok has been quietly showing his stuff for Portsmouth in the Championship with three goal contributions despite only starting about 75 percent of his matches for the former Premier League side.
Could Tottenham recall the loan?
According to a new report from Football Asian's Han June, there is now a high likelihood that Tottenham Hotspur look to change Min-Hyeok's loan from Portsmouth to another club when the January transfer window kicks off.
There are multiple options on the table that Spurs are mulling over right now. The first is sending Min-Hyeok from Portsmouth to a bigger club in the Championship that is more attacking so that he can get more reps and more chances to score and assist, which makes a ton of sense. Min-Hyeok is playing so well, too, that scouts around Europe are taking notice, leading clubs in the Bundesliga and Ligue 1 to show interest in acquiring Min-Hyeok this January as well. Finally, June reports that there is also the possibility Spurs recall his loan to the first team.
