The Tottenham Hotspur head coach is speaking to reporters on Tuesday ahead of the Carabao Cup second round clash against Charlton
Roberto De Zerbi has a new Tottenham signing to speak about at his press conference on Tuesday ahead of the Carabao Cup second round match against Charlton.
Spurs wrapped up the deal for Savio from Manchester City for £75million, with another £10million in add-ons, to become the club's seventh signing of the summer. The north London outfit have now committed £319million to the transfer market with more to come before it closes, while Tottenham have also shifted plenty out of the door to balance the squad and the books.
De Zerbi would like to add Savio's City team-mate Omar Marmoush to his squad while Liverpool's Cody Gakpo is also on his wishlist.
First up though, the Lilywhites must put Saturday's dreadful display at Brentford in their Premier League opener behind them and they have the opportunity against Championship side Charlton in the Carabao Cup at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Wednesday night.
Our Tottenham correspondent Alasdair Gold is among those putting the questions to De Zerbi on Tuesday. Scroll down for his latest updates from the press conference at Hotspur Way.

De Zerbi on Solanke
He's another important player but we stayed up with Richarlison last season. I also love him, but he has to play much better than against Brentford. Against Brentford, every one of us made mistakes, me first as always. But we need the striker to hold the ball when the opposition go man to man. But, Solanke is another important player.
The importance of the Carabao Cup
For me it's like the Premier League. We are not in the position to make differences. We need to get used to winning the matches. We have to change the mood. We can because we already did last season. Six games, three wins, two draws and one defeat to Chelsea. I heard last season we can't win the game because the last game we won was in December. I think the environment has to change, the players inside and the people inside have to change this mentality. It's a challenge. When I said we have to become a team it's about this. The quality of the players we had enough of against Brentford to do much better.
Did De Zerbi speak to Lucas Bergvall on Saturday?
He already knows he didn't play a great game, but this game for Lucas Bergvall, Archie Gray, Mathys Tel and Mikey Moore is the right step to become better and better. The young players have not got the experience and you need to pass through this type of experience. It's a normal step. Maybe one or two together is better than four together.
Are Spurs close to another signing?
I don't know. It's not right to talk about the players in other teams. It's a crazy market. We are working very well in the transfer market. I don't know if some player leaves or some people joins.
The Spurs boss on Savinho
In terms of one-to-one, he's one of the best players, can play on either side.
If you analyse the best wingers in the world they score 10-15 goals a season and he has the qualities. Maybe it's a habit and he had to get the habit. We need to increase the chances to score. The best teams score lots of goals.
De Zerbi on team news
Micky van de Ven comes on the bench. Pedro Porro will be on the bench. Solanke is available to play. Savio I don't know if he's ready to play if everything is ok to play or on the bench. Great news to have Van de Ven and Pedro Porro. Kudus is not ready yet. Maddison suffered a small injury in the shoulder.
Savinho's first words
While we wait for Roberto De Zerbi to arrive, here's what Savinho said upon completing his move to Tottenham.
It's taken a while but I'm very happy to be here. It's a wonderful opportunity at a brilliant club with one of the best managers in the world. As soon as I spoke to the head coach I knew I had to come. He told me he wants to help me reach the highest level, and I believe we can do that together, as a team.
