Igor Tudor has been set three objectives by Tottenham as he prepares to lead the north Londoners until the end of the season. The man from Croatia has been appointed to replace Thomas Frank, who was sacked last week, on an interim basis. He will be tasked with steering Spurs away from relegation trouble and ensuring Premier League survival before the campaign draws to a close.
Tudor arrived in England over the weekend and officially started work with his Tottenham players on Monday. He will be given a baptism of fire on Sunday afternoon when he takes charge of his first game against bitter rivals and Premier League leaders Arsenal. An unlikely victory would go a long way to instilling some much-needed confidence after a dreadful campaign to date.

Tottenham confirmed Tudor's appointment on Saturday, with their statement making it crystal clear what the 47-year-old will be judged on during his time at the club.
The statement read: "Igor joins us with a clear focus: to improve performances, deliver results and move us up the Premier League table.

"His mandate is straightforward – bring organisation, intensity and competitive edge to the squad at a decisive stage of the campaign."

Tudor, meanwhile, said that he understood the assignment as he looks to lead Tottenham away from the lower reaches of the Premier League table.
"It is an honour to join this club at an important moment," he said. I understand the responsibility I have been handed and my focus is clear
"To bring greater consistency to our performances and compete with conviction in every match. There is strong quality in this playing squad, and my job is to organise it, energise it and improve our results quickly."
Tudor will also be tasked with mounting a deep run in the Champions League after Tottenham breezed through the league phase in fourth place, behind only Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Liverpool.

Tottenham have only won seven of their 26 league games so far this season. They currently sit 16th in the table and are at serious risk of being dragged into another relegation battle following their 17th-placed finish last time around.
