Manor Solomon was a star for Leeds United during his loan spell from Tottenham Hotspur.
The Israel international joined Daniel Farke’s side on a season-long loan deal in August last year, and he became a fan favourite at Elland Road.
Solomon played a big part in helping Leeds win the Championship and return to the Premier League. He was outstanding for them.
Leeds would love to sign him permanently, but there could now be a new twist in the tale.
Tottenham could make a U-turn on Manor Solomon’s future
Manor Solomon will still have three years left on his Tottenham contract this summer.
The attacker joined Spurs from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2023, but injuries limited him to just six appearances for the North London club.
The move to Leeds United on loan last summer changed everything for Solomon. He played 41 games for the Whites and was brilliant for them.
The expectation was that Tottenham would sell Solomon to Leeds or any other club this summer, but that stance may have changed.
The Sun claim now that Spurs are set to give Solomon another chance this summer.
The North Londoners want to bring him back to the first-team fold during pre-season with the intention of keeping him at the club for the 2025/26 campaign.
Leeds remain keen to sign Solomon, and there are other clubs interested too. But, his fate lies in Daniel Levy’s hands now.
When did Manor Solomon last play for Tottenham?
There is no doubt over Solomon’s talent.
The Israeli attacker is a terrific player. He is good on the ball, versatile and has shown that he is capable of creating and scoring goals.
But, Solomon’s Tottenham career never kicked off, and he only made six appearances for the club – the last of which came in September 2023 against Liverpool in the Premier League.
That was nearly two years ago, which is why it is a big surprise to hear that Spurs are keen to reintegrate him into the squad this summer.
If that does happen, Leeds will have to look elsewhere to strengthen their attack.
