Club football is currently on hold due to the international break, but once it resumes, PSG will have an interesting match in the UEFA Champions League’s league phase. The Parisians will face Tottenham Hotspur, whom they defeated in the summer for the UEFA Super Cup.

Moreover, the Parisians want to get back on a winning note in the Champions League. After winning their first three games, including an impressive road win over Bayern Munich, PSG fell on Matchday 4.

While the loss isn’t a major setback, the Parisians can’t let that one defeat turn into a losing streak. Nonetheless, one player on the Tottenham squad who’s looking forward to playing the Ligue 1 side is Wilson Odobert.

Wilson Odobert Talks About Facing PSG

Ahead of the Matchday 5 game, Odobert spoke with RMC Sport and shared his thoughts on playing in the French capital at the Parc des Princes and against the reigning Champions League winners.

“Of course, it’s an important match for me because I was trained at Paris,” Odobert told RMC Sport (h/t Le10Sport). “I don’t make any distinction; I take matches as they come, without any particular pressure. Giving my all everywhere is the most important thing.

“I remember it was a good match. Messi, Mbappé, and Neymar were on the pitch (all three had scored). It’s a good memory, so I hope that when I return it will be an even better memory.”

Tottenham sit in 10th place, with eight points, and are currently in the playoff phase of the knockout stage. It will be interesting to see if Spurs can secure an away win or if PSG gets back on track and claim another victory over a Premier League club in 2025.
