Juventus are reportedly lining up moves for both Granit Xhaka and one of Tottenham's midfielders, as the Italian giants look to strengthen in the middle of the park.

Having won nine Serie A crowns in a row from 2011 to 2020, the Old Lady have failed to win the top-flight since, with each of Inter Milan, AC Milan and Napoli ruling the roost in their absence.

After another poor start to the campaign in 2024-25, Juve parted ways with newly-recruited Thiago Motta and brought in Igor Tudor who, after dragging them to a fourth-placed finish last season, is looking to improve his stock.

With doubts over the futures of stars like Dusan Vlahovic and Douglas Luiz, who have both been linked with moves to the Premier League in the past few weeks, there could be a major overhaul this summer.

One area, though, where the club are seemingly targeting is their midfield, with former Arsenal star Xhaka and Tottenham's Yves Bissouma reportedly of interest.

Italian outlets Tuttosport and Gazzetta dello Sport are reporting that the Bianconeri have an interest in Xhaka, who is also thought to have held talks with AC Milan.

However the Swiss international is seemingly joined on new director Damien Comolli's shortlist by Spurs' Europa League winner Bissouma, as well as Sporting's Morten Hjulmand and Benfica's Florentino.

Comolli is though to have a strong relationship with Tottenham, which Juventus reportedly believe will work in their favour for any negotiations.

The clubs have previously conducted transfer business to good effect, with Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski both joining the north London club from Turin in recent years.

Any potential deal for the Mali international midfielder is thought to set Juventus back between £12.9m and £17.2m.

Boss Igor Tudor is thought to be after a dynamic midfielder to add to his current unit, including Khephren Thuram, Manuel locatelli and Weston McKennie.

Sandro Tonali is reportedly the 'dream' signing, though his prominence at Newcastle, and the financials likely involved, renders such a move largely remote.

It comes as the Italian giants are linked with a move for Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho, who is though to be prepared to cut his wages by around £200,000-a-week to facilitate a move.

Last week, it was reported that the Manchester United outcast had held 'positive' talks with the Old Lady, and it has been claimed that the winger is prioritising a move to Turin.

Sancho, who joined United in a £73m deal in 2021 but endured a miserable stint, spent last season on loan at Chelsea.

The 25-year-old's current salary is said to be in excess of a staggering £300,000-a-week. United are holding out for a fee of £25m but his wage demands mean a loan cannot be ruled out.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Sancho is ready to accept an €8m-a-year (£7m) contract at Juventus but the Bianconeri are unwilling to go beyond €6m plus add-ons (£5m).

Earlier in the window, Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claimed that Juve were considering a swap deal for Sancho, sending three stars, Douglas Luiz, Dusan Vlahovic and Timothy Weah, the other way.

United were said to have been made aware that all three players are for sale, though it is is unclear if all three would have been involved in a deal for Sancho. The idea was reportedly raised during negotiations about the Englishman.

Sancho is one of five unsettled stars who were told to stay away from the training ground when the rest of the squad reported for pre-season at Carrington on Monday.
