Ange Postecoglou has made two changes to his Tottenham Hotspur side to host Leicester City on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League with James Maddison missing out.
Spurs got back to winning ways with a 3-2 victory against Hoffenheim in Sinsheim on Thursday night with an early goal from James Maddison and a brace from captain Son Heung-min. The squad landed at 2am on Friday morning after their Europa League victory in Germany, while Ruud van Nistelrooy's Leicester side have had eight days to prepare after their defeat to Fulham at home last Saturday
Ange Postecoglou has had just over 48 hours to recover his tiny squad and the number of unavailable players means he has had to have to a close line-up to the one that played in Germany, with Antonin Kinsky coming between the sticks for Brandon Austin and Pape Matar Sarr is in for James Maddison who missed out entirely after a late decision on his fitness.
"He's still a bit sore from the other night. It took a fair bit out of the group and he just wasn't 100% so he misses out today," said Postecoglou on the midfielder. "No no [nothing too serious]. We hope not. Hopefully should be alright for next week."
Yves Bissouma is back on a bench that only has eight players on it.
Here's the Tottenham team that Postecoglou has selected:
Kinsky; Porro, Dragusin, Davies, Gray; Sarr, Bentancur, Bergvall; Kulusevski, Richarlison, Son. Subs: Austin, Reguilon, Bissouma, Olusesi, Ajayi, Yang, Moore, Lankshear.
