Tottenham Hotspur are looking to strengthen their attack line with the addition of French forward Maghnes Akliouche, reports TEAMtalk.

Spurs have been active in the market already this summer having strengthened their defence with the acquisitions of Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi and Jan Paul van Hecke from Liverpool, Bournemouth and Brighton, respectively.

The north London side have also brought in experienced goalkeeper Martin Dubravka following his Burnley departure.

Additionally, Spurs have been courting central midfield pair Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes, while Savinho is a long-term target for the capital outfit.

The Brazilian wing-wizard isn’t the only attacker Roberto De Zerbi’s side are considering in the off-season with Monaco star Akliouche again being linked with a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The 24-year-old was on the club’s radar last summer, and again in January, but a move failed to materialise.

Competition rife for Akliouche

However, Spurs would need to act swiftly if they are to lure Akliouche to London.

French and European champions Paris Saint-Germain are also believed to be pursuing the Monaco star, who is currently with the France national team for the 2026 World Cup.

What’s more, Spurs are not the only Premier League side to have been credited with an interest in Akliouche, with Liverpool, Newcastle and Manchester United all keeping tabs on the Monaco star.

Monaco star struggling for World Cup minutes

Akliouche has only made one substitute appearance at the 2026 World Cup for France so far this summer, that coming in the 3-0 group stage win over Iraq.

And he is unlikely to force his way into the France starting XI for Tuesday’s round-of-32 meeting with Sweden as Les Bleus look to win the World Cup for the third time before head coach Didier Deschamps steps down as head coach.
