HSV Hamburg’s hopes of signing Luka Vuskovic on loan from Tottenham Hotspur are currently fading, as Spurs have gone radio silent on the transfer.

That’s according to MOPO, who cover the situation today and Tottenham’s apparent reluctance to sanction the loan move for the youngster.

They explain that there has been excitement about the youngster Vuskovic brother as he’s regularly seen with his older sibling, Mario Vuskovic. On Sunday, he was seen attending a game with him at Hajduk Split, where they had their photo taken in the stands.

The belief is that they are talking about a potential move to HSV, with the Tottenham man regularly linked to the German side this summer.

As of Monday afternoon, though, HSV’s leadership of Stefan Kuntz and Claus Costa had not received any signals from Tottenham. Spurs appear to have turned to radio silence on the matter.

That’s despite reports stating that Vuskovic has long been in agreement with HSV over personal terms. With each passing day, the prospect of him arriving from Tottenham is diminishing.

Indeed, those in charge at the Volksparkstadion have intensified contacts with alternatives, such is their growing concern about Tottenham’s current stance.
