Oh, that was close! A superb delivery from van de Ven from near his own penalty box found the run of Kudus. The Ghanian took it in his stride, and holding off the pressure from his marker, finished past Martinez and found the back of the net.
However, his celebration is cut short as the flag goes up for offside, which he was, by a metre or so.

A corner in Spurs' almost found the head of the tall Villa defenders, but other than that, it has been easy going for the home side. They have the slightest bit more of the ball (51%), and are more or less controlling the tempo of the match.

What a hit!! That is something special from Morgan Rogers, and Aston Villa are level. Cash and Guessand combine down the right, with the latter trying to find Rogers.
