Amorim voted Manager of the Month

Portuguese coach Ruben Amorim won the October Manager of the Month award and spoke ahead of the game against Tottenham on Friday, expressing his happiness for the trophy and the recent results. "I'm really happy, not just for my staff, but also for my players. I think they deserve full credit for this award because, in the end, the manager that wins this kind of award is not the best team, but the team that performs maybe better during this month. So I just expect to win the next one because it is a sign we won football matches."

What are Tottenham saying?

Speaking ahead of the home game, Frank took some time to reflect on his first months at the club: "That will be a work in progress, no doubt about that. I think the first three months have been super exciting, a big learning curve, you learn every single day. You walk into a new club, you learn the players, you learn the staff, you learn about the club, you learn about how it works, the fans, everything. But I think it's been overall, fine. I think we've been doing quite well to be able to get the amount of points we got in the Champions League and in the Premier League, competing in two fronts at the same time."

Possible lineups

Tottenham XI: Guglielmo Vicario; Pedro Porro, Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Djed Spence; Joao Palhinha, Rodrigo Bentancur; Brennan Johnson, Xavi Simons, Wilson Odobert; Randal Kolo Muani.

Manchester United XI: Senne Lammens; Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, Luke Shaw; Amad, Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes, Diogo Dalot; Bryan Mbeumo; Matheus Cunha; Benjamin Sesko.

Prediction

Manchester United come from three wins and one draw in the last four Premier League games played and this is their big chance to prove them again. Pick: Tottenham 1, Manchester United 2.
