Manor Solomon was always going to have a say on the biggest of days for Leeds United. Needing to win at Plymouth Argyle on the final day of the Championship season to clinch the league title, the West Yorkshire club came from behind to seal a 2-1 victory courtesy of a stoppage-time winner.

It was indeed Solomon who scored at the death to spark jubilant scenes in the away end at Home Park and also stop Burnley from pipping Leeds to first place. Just as he has done since joining Leeds on loan from Tottenham, Solomon showed his quality in the penalty area as he cut in from the left to curl the ball home beyond Conor Hazard.

The Israeli certainly enjoyed the moment as he threw his shirt into the air before he was wrestled to the ground by his teammates to celebrate their title triumph. It also proved to be a big goal for Solomon on a personal level as it meant he reached double figures for both goals and assists (10 goals, 13 assists) in his 41 appearances for Daniel Farke's side.

The 25-year-old has been instrumental in Leeds' return to the Premier League and they will undoubtedly do all they can to try and sign him on a permanent basis ahead of the 2025/26 campaign. Leeds defender Pascal Struijk has already made his feelings clear on a permanent move for his teammate after commenting "sign him up" on Solomon's Instagram post on Saturday.

What may make things interesting when it comes to the ex-Fulham man's future is that he still has a further three seasons to run on his Tottenham contract and it remains to be seen who will be Spurs head coach next season amid question marks over Ange Postecoglou's future. After the season he's had in the Championship for Leeds, Tottenham may want to take a closer look at their player in pre-season rather than rushing straight into a deal with Leeds.

If they are to sell their winger, they should not be short on suitors for him as a number of clubs may join Leeds in the race for his signature. For now, Solomon wants to enjoy Leeds's Premier League promotion but he did admit after the game that "in two or three days we will talk and see what is happening".

"I can’t put into words what I’m feeling right now. It is a dream come true to score the winning goal and take this Championship,’ Solomon told BBC Radio Leeds (via Metro). "Throughout the season we’ve shown we deserve this trophy and to finish in the first spot. I’m so glad it happened.

"We all knew what was happening at Burnley and we knew we needed to score. It paid off and the ball went into the net. It will take me a few days to digest what happened today, right now I’m going to celebrate.

"I want to celebrate with my partner, with the club’s employees. We deserve it. I’ve been focused on this season, in two or three days we will talk and see what is happening. I don’t know what the future holds but I can just say I love [Leeds]."

Solomon's "love" for Leeds may swing things in the West Yorkshire club's favour if he is to exit Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on a permanent basis. Farke and Leeds' summer recruitment is going to be pivotal when it comes to the team remaining in the top flight after all three of last season's promoted teams returned to the Championship at the first time of asking.

The Leeds boss has already made it clear the need for a "top-class summer" and that they must be "spot on in every decision". The permanent signing of Solomon would be an excellent start to the off-season for Leeds but that will all come down to Tottenham's plans for their player.

Amid the big question marks over what comes next, Solomon, most importantly, has enjoyed a sublime campaign after injury restricted him to only six Tottenham appearances in his debut season in north London. Now he will want to do exactly the same but this time in the Premier League.
