Tottenham Hotspur are set for a big summer of changes and one of their key players could be about to depart in the transfer window.

Thomas Frank has just been appointed as the new head coach of the North London club, and his arrival could bring about plenty of changes to the playing squad.

Spurs are working hard in the transfer window to reshape the Dane’s squad following what was a dismal Premier League campaign as the team finished 17th.

Now, one of Spurs’ top players may have already suggested to his teammates and staff that he could well have played his final game for the club.

Tottenham’s players and staff think Son Heung-min could be leaving

The way Son Heung-min said his goodbyes to Tottenham Hotspur’s players and staff after the last Premier League match of the season left them with the impression that he might have played his final game for the club, according to Matt Law.

Spurs are open to selling Son this summer if the South Korean forward feels the time is right for him to move on following the Europa League triumph.

Speaking to the Last Word on Spurs, Law said: “I mean, certainly after the last game of the season, he left people with the impression, both in the dressing room and around the staff, that he might have played his last game for Tottenham.

“The way he said his goodbyes for the summer did leave people with the impression that he thought he could go.

“I think there is a willingness to do a deal if he feels the timing is right now that he’s won that trophy and the time might be right for both parties.”

TBR Football understands that Thomas Frank won’t stand in Son’s way either, and the Dane has informed the club he is happy to sell the club captain.

Frank and Son are due to discuss his future in a meeting once the 32-year-old returns for pre-season, with the attacker expected to stay until Spurs’ tour of Asia.

Tottenham are well equipped for life without Son Heung-min

The North London club appear well prepared for life without Son, who Ange Postecoglou called ‘outstanding’, given their strong array of left-wing options.

Tottenham signed Mathys Tel earlier this month with the hope that the Frenchman could eventually become a star in N17.

Mikey Moore is another big hope for the future at Tottenham, with the 17-year-old having shown himself to be a major prospect. Tottenham want Moore to sign a new contract, as per TBR Football.

Frank wants Eze at Spurs, and the England international could be the perfect replacement for Son as he looks more than ready to make the step up.
