A number of high-profile deals are still in the works ahead of tonight's 11pm deadline, with Liverpool still in the market for a new winger despite signing Bradley Barcola yesterday. They are interested in a move for Crystal Palace forward Ismaila Sarr, but the Eagles don't want to sell him with so little time remaining in the window.

Leeds complete Bahoya deal

Leeds United have agreed a loan deal for Eintracht Frankfurt winger Jean-Matteo Bahoya, which contains an option to buy.

If triggered, the total package comes to an inital £21.4million plus £3.4m in potential add-ons.

The confirmation of his arrival comes after Wilfried Gnonto's loan move to Fiorentina was given the green light, which Leeds said depended on them acquiring a new winger.

With OGC Nice full-back Melvin Bard also captured, Leeds have made seven new signings this summer.

Everton situation is a mess

Everton's transfer window ended in disarray with a deal for Folarin Balogun collapsing at the death.

The club had submitted a deal sheet in the hope of completing a move for the AS Monaco forward.

The Blues had sought to renegotiate the original £40million after an issue was flagged in the player's medical but, as the clubs pushed for a conclusion, the player is understood to have walked away.

Sky Sports say Everton are moving closer to doing a deal for Folarin Balogun.

It appears the Toffees and Monaco will agree on a renegotiated fee despite the Ligue 1 club also accepting a £47m bid from Chelsea for Lamine Camara.

Enzo Fernandez delay

At this rate, Manchester City could require a deal sheet to get the Enzo Fernandez transfer over the line.

The Argentine has completed a medical but we're awaiting confirmation that the midfielder's paperwork has been submitted and approved.

What's a deal sheet?

Less than half an hour to go now of the summer transfer window.

But if the necessary discussions and agreements are made before the window closes, teams can still sign players after 11pm.

'Deal sheets' can be handed to the relevant governing bodies before the deadline.

A deal sheet is an application to the Premier League or the EFL that confirms that a transfer has been agreed between two clubs and the player's representatives.

If approved, clubs receive a two-hour extension to the transfer deadline to complete administrative details. That would extend the deadline to 1am.

Four more Hull signings to come?

Hull City will make another four signings, owner Acun Ilicali has just told Sky Sports News.

Having announced the return of Jack Grealish on loan, Everton remain hopeful of completing a deal to sign Folarin Balogun.

That's according to The Athletic who say Everton are negotiating a lower fixed fee for the 25-year-old from Monaco.

Everton had agreed to pay £40million but want to lower that amount and increase the amount of bonuses in the deal.

Everton confirm Jack Grealish return

While deals for Folarin Balogun and Joshua Zirkzee have been cast in doubt, Everton have announced the return of Jack Grealish.

He heads back to Merseyside on loan from Manchester City.

Grealish is out of contract next summer so could join the Toffees on a permanent basis for free at the end of the 2026/27 campaign.

Man Utd reject Everton Joshua Zirkzee bid

Manchester United have rejected a loan bid from Everton for Joshua Zirkzee.

The deal was going to be worth £10m, according to Sky Sports News, with the Toffees prepared to pay a loan fee and cover the Dutchman's wages in full.

But Zirkzee will be staying at Old Trafford after the Red Devils blocked a move to Merseyside.

Everton tried to sign Zirkzee because their deal for Folarin Balogun has run into issues. Reports claim those problems are related to the medical.

Tottenham have officially confirmed the signing of Mykhaylo Mudryk on loan from Chelsea.

Spurs have an option to make the move permanent for a whopping £75million at the end of the season.

Folarin Balogun's failed Everton medical opened the door for Chelsea to sign Lamine Camara.

The Blues were able to reignite talks with the Ligue 1 club, who need to secure a big sale due to financial pressure.

Xabi Alonso's side saw two bids rejected earlier in the day but are now on course to land the Senegal international on a six-year contract with a one-year option.

Camara has been undergoing medical examinations overseas.

The deal's completion remains subject to all formalities being concluded successfully and a Premier League deal sheet will likely be required due to the lateness of the agreement.

Zirkzee to Everton latest

Second Newcastle done deal

Newcastle United, who earlier announced the signing of Matias Fernandez-Pardo, have confirmed Nick Woltemade's exit.

The towering striker has swapped the black and white stripes of Newcastle for the same colours of Juventus.

Beto has left Everton to join Fiorentina in a £15million move.

The 28-year-old scored 20 goals in 99 Premier League games for the Toffees after joining from Udinese.

But he had entered the last 12 months of his Everton contract and was no longer a starter.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Leeds United have agreed a deal to sign Jean Matteo Bahoya.

The Eintracht Frankfurt winger saw a proposed move to Hull City collapse last month.

But Leeds have been given permission to fly the winger in for a medical after an initial loan deal was agreed.

The French winger, 21, will join on loan but Leeds are obliged to make the move permanent for up to £25.7million next summer.

Second Chelsea bid rejected

Chelsea have seen a second offer rejected by AS Monaco for Senegal international midfielder Lamine Camara.

The dynamic 22-year-old has been the subject of late interest from the Blues, who raised their initial £38.5m proposal to around £48.25m (€50m) this afternoon.

Their bid was once again rebuffed and Monaco now hope to keep the player.

Monaco needed to raise funds before the deadline but after selling Folarin Balogun to Everton (pending announcement), they are not under any major pressure to offload Camara and further weaken Filipe Luis' team.

They would have done business for the right amount of money but barring a fresh twist, Camara should remain with Monaco.

Roma have also refused to sell Manu Kone to Chelsea after the Blues shook hands with Manchester City on a £125m deal for Enzo Fernandez.

Everton look set to dominate the deadline day transfer feeds in the final hours with the club still working towards the completion of SEVEN deals.

Jack Grealish is due to arrive on loan from Manchester City while the club is trying to complete permanent moves for Folarin Balogun of AS Monaco and Lyon's Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

Beto is expected to leave for Fiorentina and Iliman Ndiaye for Manchester City.

While Tim Iroegbunam could yet complete a switch to Hull City and Nathan Patterson to Torino.

Despite agreeing to sell Enzo Fernandez to Manchester City, Chelsea may not sign a replacement today.

According to the Telegraph, it is not certain Chelsea will make a major signing of their own today.

The Blues have run into difficulties trying to sign Manu Kone and Lamine Camara.

New alternatives have emerged, like Martin Zubimendi and Lucas Bergvall, but the Londoners may not get a deal done in time.

Liverpool tried for Malo Gusto move

Liverpool reportedly tried to sign Malo Gusto on loan at the end of the transfer window.

That's according to RMC Sport who report Liverpool were keen to land Gusto as reinforcements for their defence.

However, Chelsea didn't want to sanction a temporary exit; instead, demanding any move would be permanent instead.

The valuation was said to be around £75million, which was considered out of Liverpool's ballpark.

More on that Enzo Fernandez agreement - Manchester City will pay a joint-record £125million package to Chelsea.

That means the Argentine matches the record British transfer fee set by Alexander Isak's move from Newcastle to Liverpool last year.

Chelsea have now given Fernandez permission to undergo a medical and complete his switch before tonight's deadline.

Liverpool loan deal

An update on Liverpool's pursuit of 18-year-old striker Djylian N’Guessan from Saint-Etienne.

The player is out of contract at the end of the season, but has already agreed to join the Reds.

However, he will spend the season on loan from the Ligue 2 side at Ligue 1 side Brest, with Liverpool keen for the teenager to gain further top-flight experience having played in the competition for Saint-Etienne earlier in his career.

N'Guessan will then sign a pre-contract agreement with Liverpool to move at the end of the season.

The reason for the loan being from Saint-Etienne is that the Reds have no more foreign loan slots remaining having already filled their allocation.

Enzo Fernandez to Man City agreed

Manchester City appear to have made progress in their bid to snap up Enzo Fernandez from Chelsea.

The Times say the two clubs have agreed on the outline of a deal for the Argentine worth around £120million including add-ons.

The 25-year-old is desperate to move to the Etihad Stadium and is increasingly confident he will complete his move in time.

Man Utd eye late signing

Arsenal are unable to stop Ethan Nwaneri from playing against them in the Champions League as he closes in on a move to Borussia Dortmund.

The English attacker is expected to complete a season-long loan deal and will be free to play against the Gunners.

In Europe, players can play against their parent club in UEFA competitions.

Nwaneri could therefore return to the Emirates Stadium and play against the Gunners for Dortmund in the league phase of the Champions League.
