Transfer news LIVE!

The summer window is really heating up as the World Cup finale approaches, with Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham all striving to get some major transfers completed. Arsenal are poised to bid for Morgan Rogers after agreeing a deal for Christos Tzolis following Leandro Trossard’s exit, while they also remain in pursuit of Bruno Guimaraes and Julian Alvarez, plus wonderkid Andria Bartishvili. Bradley Barcola and Ezri Konsa are also firmly on the Gunners’ radar.

Manchester United are eyeing a move for France star Manu Kone and have now registered their interest in both Hugo Larsson and Nicolas Raskin after signing Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans, with Marcus Rashford’s £40million exit clause expired. Chelsea are about to welcome Brazilian sensation Denner as they try to strike a deal for Pep Chavarria, while they may yet attempt to beat United to Kone amid the potential exit of Enzo Fernandez.

Tottenham have Savinho, Rafael Leao and Cody Gakpo all in their sights as Nottingham Forest prepare a second offer for Lucas Bergvall, while Liverpool are being linked with Adam Wharton and Rayan as they also push for Barcola. Follow the latest transfer news, rumours and gossip live below!

Arsenal handed new Julian Alvarez transfer update

Barcelona know where Arsenal transfer target Julian Alvarez will be playing next season, according to Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo.

Alvarez, currently preparing for the World Cup final against Spain with Argentina, is Barcelona's top target this summer, though the LaLiga champions are experiencing difficulties getting a deal over the line.

Having already seen at least one bid rejected amid Atletico’s refusal to sell to a direct rival, Barca have been told to trigger the €500m (£431m) release clause in Alvarez’s contract to bring him to the Camp Nou.

Dominik Szoboszlai agrees huge new Liverpool contract

Dominik Szoboszlai has agreed a new contract at Liverpool.

The versatile Hungarian midfielder has become an instrumental figure at Anfield and had been linked with an exit following his strong 2025/26 campaign and having sarcastically applauded fans following the FA Cup quarter-final thrashing by Manchester City.

Real Madrid were among the clubs said to be keen on Szoboszlai, who had two years left to run on his previous deal.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool will soon announce a bumper three-year extension sealed today that will last until 2031 and make him one of the club’s top earners.

Mohamed Salah decision coming soon

It seems like an update on Mohamed Salah’s club future is imminent.

The Liverpool icon is available as a free agent this summer after leaving Anfield last month following nine illustrious years.

His next move has yet to be confirmed, though there have been no shortage of links to clubs all over the world - particularly in Saudi Arabia and the United States.

Now Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, has spoken out on social media, tweeting this morning: “We still do not know where Mohamed will play next season but we may know very soon.

“It is not our style to have discussions with clubs that Mohamed wouldn’t want to play for, just for the sake of noise.”

Liverpool push for Wharton and Rayan deals

Liverpool are reportedly targeting deals for Adam Wharton and Rayan this summer, as well as Bradley Barcola.

The Reds are working hard on their squad at the start of the Andoni Iraola era as they attempt to replace the great Mohamed Salah, having already welcomed Victor Munoz from Osasuna but likely missed out on RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande.

According to Football Transfers, Liverpool have now made Crystal Palace and England midfielder Wharton their “top target” in this window.

As well as that, TEAMtalk are reporting that contact has already been made with Iraola’s former club Bournemouth over a potential deal for Brazilian winger Rayan.

They could yet end up with Barcola, especially if Diomande joins Paris Saint-Germain as expected.

Denner set to seal Chelsea transfer

Chelsea are closing in on the signing of Brazilian wonderkid Denner.

The Blues struck a deal with Corinthians last year that would see the teenage left-back arrive at Stamford Bridge this summer.

Denner - who turned 18 back in February and has been nursing a knee injury - will travel to west London next week in order to undergo a medical and finalise his switch to Chelsea, according to Sport Witness.

He is expected to sign a contract through to the summer of 2032.

Man Utd ponder shock Nico Raskin move

Hugo Larsson is not the only surprise new name in the Manchester United transfer frame today.

It appears that Michael Carrick is very much not done yet with overhauling his midfield options at Old Trafford, despite last week’s arrivals of both Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans for a combined price of around £85m.

As well as eyeing Eintracht Frankfurt star Larsson, it seems United could be pondering a shock swoop for a player a little closer to home.

Belgian outlet Voetbalkrant suggest that Rangers star Nico Raskin is on their radar - as well as Aston Villa’s - after a positive World Cup with the other Red Devils.

Man Utd make contact for Larsson

Manchester United have a brand new midfield target.

After signing Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans this week, United remain on the hunt for more reinforcements and are said to have contacted Hugo Larsson's representatives.

Reports claim Man Utd - and Newcastle - are interested in the Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder, though are yet to submit an offer.

It may take a huge offer to convince Frankfurt into a sale as the Bundesliga side remain in a strong negotiating position, with Larsson under contract until 2029.

The pair worked together at United, and after moving to Italy, Amorim is reportedly hoping to reunite with the player.
