Chelsea offer Chalobah for Lacroix

Chelsea have reportedly offered Crystal Palace a player-plus-cash deal for Maxence Lacroix.

If accepted, the bid, reported by CaughtOffside, would see Palace take in Trevoh Chalobah as well as a transfer fee for Lacroix.

The Frenchman is valued at around £47m. Chalobah spent time on loan at Crystal Palace during the 2024/25 campaign, but has established himself as a first-team regular since returning to Stamford Bridge.

Williams prefers Man Utd over Spurs

Manchester United will compete with Tottenham for Neco Williams.

According to TEAMtalk, the Wales international is attracting plenty of interest this summer.

Spurs are said to be exploring a deal, with Djed Spence's future uncertain.

But it is Man Utd that Williams would rather join as he wants to play under Michael Carrick.

His preference is perhaps a surprise in light on Williams' Liverpool academy background.

Nottingham Forest remain hopeful of tying the 25-year-old down to a new contract.

Why Tottenham have sold Vuskovic after transfer request threat

Luka Vuskovic is one of the most highly rated youngsters in Europe, but Tottenham have let him go for £50m.

The teenager was keen to play regular first-team football at Spurs next season, a role Roberto De Zerbi was unable to guarantee.

Vuksovic was prepared to hand in a transfer request to force an exit amid escalating interest from Brighton, who saw at least two bids rejected before agreeing a fee worth an initial £46m.

Standard Sport understands that Spurs retain a 20 per cent sell-on clause and matching rights for any agreed sale in the future, which allows the defender to return to north London in the future.
