The summer window is really stepping up a notch as Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham all continue to work on major signings with the World Cup almost over. Arsenal are believed to have held fresh talks over Julian Alvarez amid more speculation regarding a sensational swap involving Viktor Gyokeres, while they are expected to bid for Christos Tzolis after agreeing to sell Leandro Trossard to Besiktas. The Gunners remain in pursuit of Morgan Rogers and Bruno Guimaraes, plus wonderkid Andria Bartishvili.
Manchester United want to continue their midfield overhaul with a move for France star Manu Kone, having now welcomed both Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos, as well as goalkeeper Karl Darlow. However, they have pulled out of a deal involving Ederson, who has been offered a new contract at Atalanta. Chelsea are still pushing hard to land Pep Chavarria and Maxence Lacroix, with Alvaro Carreras also potentially on Xabi Alonso’s radar.
Tottenham could yet swoop for Francisco Trincao as they also target Eli Junior Kroupi and Andreas Schjelderup, though Cristian Romero and Djed Spence may both leave. Liverpool want Bradley Barcola and could now battle United for Kone. Follow the latest transfer news, rumours and gossip live below!

BREAKING: Sunderland confirm Meunier deal
Sunderland have announced the signing of 83-time Belgium international Thomas Meunier on a free transfer, following his departure from Lille.
The defender, 34, was at Lille for two years after a spell at Turkish side Trabzonspor. Prior, he spent four years each at Borussia Dortmund and PSG, winning four Ligue 1 titles with the French side.
He adds experience to Regis Le Bris’ side, who qualified for the Europa League after a 7th-place finish.
£85m-rated Bouaddi on Premier League giants' radar
Morocco youngster Ayyoub Bouaddi, 18, is firmly in the sights of Manchester City, David Ornstein reports.
Lille want £85m for him and are considering making a move for him soon.
However, 2024/25 Premier League champions Liverpool are also reportedly interested in Bouaddi, so each may face a battle to get their man.
He started in all of Morocco’s World Cup knockout games as they were eliminated by France in the quarter-finals.

London City Lionesses' transfer splurge continues
London City Lionesses’ transfer spree continues as they announce the signing of Kadidiatou Diani from OL Lyonnes for an undisclosed fee.
The 31-year-old joins Mary Earps and Ballon D’or winner Alexia Putellas at the London side.
They were promoted to the WSL last year and soon broke the transfer record with the £1.43m signing of Grace Geyoro from PSG - a fee London City disputed as too high.
Owner and American businesswoman Michele Kang - who also owns OL Lyonnes - has given them considerable spending power since her 2023 arrival.
Winks finds Italy reprieve
The 2015/16 Premier League winners were relegated to League One after a points deduction, completing a dramatic decade-long fall from grace.
Now, Winks - who joined from Tottenham Hotspur in 2023 - has made his way to one of the top European leagues in the form of Cagliari.
The Sardinian side have finished 15th and 16th in Serie A after promotion from Serie B back in 2023.
Foden in shock Turkey transfer talks
Reports are emerging from Turkey that Galatasary have entered talks with Manchester City forward Phil Foden.
The five-time Premier League winner, 26, is valued at £59.6m (€70m) by the Sky Blues and has one year left on his contract.
And his representatives have, according to Record, entered talks with the Turkish giants.
This marks a stunning turn of events for Foden, who only two years ago was named PFA Player of the Year, but was recently left out of England’s World Cup squad by Thomas Tuchel.
New City boss Enzo Maresca may want to keep the City academy graduate, but his form over the last two seasons saw him relegated to a substitute role under since-departed manager Pep Guardiola.

Man United wanted Barca starlet in Rashford deal
Manchester United wanted Barcelona youngster Marc Bernal, 19, in any deal to sell Marcus Rashford to the Spanish side.
Mundo Deportivo reported the Red Devils would lower the £25.5m clause Barca in their loan contract with the England forward, but only if they could take Bernal off the Camp Nou side’s hands.
Barcelona rejected this offer out of hand, seeing Bernal as a bright prospect. He made his first appearance for Spain in June, but did not make their World Cup squad.
Rumours over Rashford joining Hansi Flick’s side have since died down. They have already signed Anthony Gordon for £69m and are on the brink of a deal for fellow winger Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund.

Spain captain considers homecoming
Rodri is mulling over a move to Real Madrid, El Nacional reports.
The midfielder, 30, has captained La Roja to a second World Cup final in their history and has been at Manchester City since 2019. He moved from Atletico Madrid.
The Ballon D’or winner was born in Madrid and was in Atletico’s academy for five years, before joining Villarreal and eventually returning to Diego Simeone’s side for £17m in 2018.
He joined City a year later for £59.7m and has one year left on his current contract, but will wait for the World Cup’s completion to decide his fate.

Arsenal and Liverpool to vie for Norway winger
Liverpool have interest in Antonia Nusa helping replace Mohamed Salah, but Arsenal are ready to steal in ahead of their rivals.
CaughtOffside report the Gunners are ready to offer £34.1m for the forward, who featured against England in the World Cup quarter-finals.
They are looking for a replacement for Leandro Trossard, who is on the brink of a £17.1m move to Turkish side Besiktas.
Liverpool have already signed Spain winger Victor Munoz to fill the gap left by Salah’s departure and thought they were ahead in the race to sign Nusa.
But Arsenal’s sudden interest has complicated things.

Inter Milan in Spurs talks over Cristian Romero and Djed Spence
Cristian Romero and Djed Spence could both leave Tottenham for Inter Milan this summer.
Captain Romero has long since been expected to depart Spurs in this window, while fellow defender Spence may also exit despite largely impressing during England’s run to the World Cup semi-finals.
Fabrizio Romano reports this morning that Inter remain in talks over versatile full-back Spence, who would be open to heading to Milan as the two clubs try to agree a fee.
Romano also said that Inter have been in discussions with Tottenham over recent days regarding Romero, who is also on Barcelona’s radar and has long-term interest from Atletico Madrid.

Christos Tzolis wants Arsenal transfer
More now on Arsenal’s move for Christos Tzolis.
The Gunners are expected to step up their interest in the Club Brugge winger after agreeing to sell Leandro Trossard to Besiktas.
According to Ben Jacobs of GiveMeSport, Tzolis has now informed Arsenal of his desire to join the club this summer.
He says that club-to-club talks will accelerate, with Club Brugge willing to sell a player who will cost between £30m-£35m.
Crucially, Jacobs adds that the deal will also not impact on Arsenal’s high-profile pursuit of Aston Villa and England star Morgan Rogers.
