The 23-year-old is set to sign a five-year contract at the Emirates Stadium if talks continue to progress and an agreement is reached.
Liverpool make Luis Diaz stance clear
Liverpool have refused to engage in transfer talks with Bayern Munich over Luis Diaz, reports GiveMeSport.
The Reds are insistent that the winger is not for sale and are not encouraging offers from suitors. They have no plans to even allow Bayern – or any other suitors – with the chance to present a bid.

Tottenham have announced the signing of Mohammed Kudus, who joins the club from West Ham in a deal worth £55million.
The versatile forward has penned a long-term deal with Spurs.
Spurs eye Adam Wharton as part of their triple swoop
Tottenham are reportedly set to continue their spending spree by making a move for Crystal Palace star Adam Wharton.
Spurs are closing in on deals for Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White and West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus, and Thomas Frank’s side are turning their attention to their midfield.
GB News report that Tottenham are eyeing Wharton and are willing to bid up to £60million to secure his services. However, Palace value the midfielder at £70m.
Chelsea set to offload midfielder
Chelsea midfielder Mathis Amougou is set to join Strasbourg, reports L’Equipe.

Forest turn their attention to Brentford star
Nottingham Forest have reignited their pursuit in Brentford’s Yoane Wissa, reports The Athletic.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side pushed to sign the forward in the January transfer window, and they have now seen a new offer rejected by the Bees.
Forest were open to paying £25million to signing Wissa in January but their offer was rejected, and their recent bid fell below that amount. Brentford value the Congo international at more than £50m.
WSL world-record transfer agreed
Women’s football’s first £1million transfer has reportedly been agreed.
The Guardian report that Liverpool have accepted a world-record bid worth £1m for Olivia Smith from Arsenal. The 20-year-old scored seven goals in 20 Women’s Super League appearances last season.
The forward is also capable of playing on the wing, and Arsenal are pushing to pay a ‘sizeable’ fee to secure her signature.
Spurs set to activate Gibbs-White's release clause
Tottenham are reportedly ‘ready’ to trigger a £60million release clause in Morgan Gibbs-White’s contract.
The Telegraph report that Spurs are confident of agreeing a deal to sign the playmaker and are willing to activate the clause in his deal at the City Ground.
Talks are ongoing between Tottenham and Forest, and Thomas Frank’s side do not any issues in negotiations.
Arsenal plan Crystal Palace talks
Arsenal are reportedly planning to hold talks with Crystal Palace chairman Steve Paris over a deal for Eberechi Eze.
The Gunners are keen to secure the signature of the midfielder for less than his release clause, and the Guardian report that they are hoping to negotiate a deal soon.
However, it is unlikely that Palace are open to entertaining offers below the £68million clause given the level of interest in the England international.
Tottenham eyeing Morgan Gibbs-White
Tottenham are reportedly set to turn their attention to signing Nottingham Forest playmaker Morgan Gibbs-White.
The Athletic report that the midfielder is being tracked by several top clubs, and Spurs are hopeful of convincing him to be a part of Thomas Frank’s new project. The ex-Brentford boss is a ‘long-term admirer’ of Gibbs-White.
Tottenham have recently struck a deal to sign West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus, and signing both would be a major sign of intent from the north London outfit.
Chelsea tipped to sell Nicolas Jackson
Alan Shearer would not be surprised to see Chelsea sell Nicolas Jackson after this weekend's Club World Cup final.
Speaking on The Rest Is Football, he said: "I don’t know, am I playing devil’s advocate here in thinking Jackson may be the one?
"That wouldn’t surprise me if he was sold to someone, whether in our country or not.
"That’s one that wouldn’t surprise me if they made that decision. They’ve got some serious options in every forward position."

Napoli chief makes Alejandro Garnacho statement
Napoli chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis has admitted that he wants to sign Alejandro Garnacho this summer.
He believes the winger will become 'twice the player' if he leaves Manchester United.

"Get him out and he becomes twice the player. There's a fault at United that I can't explain."

Arsenal, however, are said to be unwilling to meet those demands.
Jarrad Branthwaite release clause emerges
Jarrad Branthwaite has a release clause of £70m in his new Everton contract, according to the Daily Mail.
The defender recently committed his long-term future to the Toffees by signing a five-year deal.

Real Madrid boss Xabi Alonso says no decision has been made over the future of Rodrygo, who is a reported target for Arsenal.
It has been claimed that he could leave the Bernabeu for around £76.8m this summer with the Gunners believed to be keen.
But after Rodrygo was left on the bench in Real Madrid's defeat to PSG at the Club World Cup, Alonso said: "These are match decisions.
"The way the match was going, we needed another profile. There have been no decisions for the future.
"We haven't rotated too much in this Club World Cup and the context will be different in the future."
Mohammed Kudus set for Tottenham medical
Mohammed Kudus will undergo a medical at Tottenham later today, according to The Athletic.
The north Londoners have agreed a £55m deal to sign the West Ham winger on a long-term contract.

Kudus scored five Premier League goals last season and laid on another four assists.
Brentford could increase Bryan Mbeumo demands
Brentford feel they have undervalued Bryan Mbeumo after seeing other players linked with expensive moves, according to The Evening Standard.
They have reportedly been encouraged by the fees touted for players like Noni Madueke and Anthony Elanga.

The Red Devils are still interested in signing the winger but are yet to agree a transfer fee with Brentford holding firm.
