Our Under-21s return to action in the traditional and ever-popular pre-season friendly at Enfield Town on Tuesday night (5 August, 7.45pm UK).

Played at the Queen Elizabeth II Stadium, just a short distance from our Training Centre, every year since 2018, the fixture always draws a healthy crowd, with a great chance to see some of our young professionals in action in the club’s locality.

Tickets are priced at £10 for adults, £5 for concessions (over-65s and students) and £1 for under-16s. They can be purchased online in advance or at the turnstiles on the night.

The match comes off the back of a useful week-long training camp for Wayne Burnett’s side in the Algarve.

In addition to their daily sessions, the squad played back-to-back training matches against teams representing a pair of Portuguese second-division sides on Saturday, with Luca Williams-Barnett notably scoring an 11-minute hat-trick after coming off the bench in a 5-2 victory in the first match. Reiss Elliott-Parris and Callum Olusesi also hit the target, before Williams-Barnett and Oli Irow secured a 2-0 win in the latter game.

Our Under-21s will also this week learn their Premier League 2 fixtures for the new campaign.
