Our impressive 7-3 win over Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon saw us equal our record for most wins in a single Women’s Super League campaign.
As we ran out winners in the ten-goal thriller at Villa Park - just the second time we’ve scored five or more goals in a league game - it saw us claim our ninth victory of the campaign in the competition.
That levelled our Club record for wins in a campaign, which we set in the 2021/22 season. That year, we also recorded our best-ever season in the WSL to date for both points and finishing place – a fifth-place finish in the table with 32 points.
