Luka Vuskovic’s second start for Croatia was one to remember as he scored his first senior international goal in their 2-1 friendly victory over Colombia in Orlando, Florida.

The 18-year-old, who has starred on loan for Hamburger SV this season, brought his country back into the game with an equaliser in the sixth minute after Jhon Arias’ opener inside the first two minutes.

Luka, who was making his third cap, travelled with the ball from deep inside the Colombia half and pulled the trigger from around 25 yards out, sending a low effort with pace goalwards, which took a deflection before beating the opposition goalkeeper, Camilo Vargas.

Croatia complete their US tour, which is in preparation for this summer’s World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico, with a friendly against Brazil on Wednesday which again takes place at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando.
