The job Matthias Jaissle has done so far at Newcastle United will only add to the frustration of Tottenham fans after their poor start to the campaign.
That is the verdict of former Spurs and England goalkeeper Joe Hart who believes the impact Jaissle has made in just under four weeks in charge of Newcastle pours scorn on to Roberto De Zerbi's suggestion that his Spurs side need more time to develop the cohesion he needs this term.
Spurs have spent around £380million in the summer transfer market as they look to avoid finishing in 17th place in the Premier League table for the third season in a row.
De Zerbi's side paid £100million to sign Sandro Tonali from Newcastle, while they have also signed Omar Marmoush and Savio from Manchester City, Mateus Fernandes from West Ham, Andy Robertson from Liverpool, Jan Paul van Hecke from Brighton and Marco Senesi from Bournemouth.

The Italian joined Spurs towards the end of last season and ensured they avoided relegation with a final day win over Everton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
They ended the season well under De Zerbi and were expected to kick on after a mammoth transfer spend but they have lost their first two games of the season and were entirely second best on Saturday as Newcastle beat them 2-0 in North London.
Jaissle only succeeded Eddie Howe as Newcastle head coach earlier this month and the Magpies have had to deal with selling Tonali, Bruno Guimaraes, Anthony Gordon and Kieran Trippier this summer.
Seven new signings - all aged 24 or under - have arrived in their place and despite experts predicting a season of struggle, Jaissle is unbeaten in his first three competitive matches in charge.
On Saturday, Jaissle's aggressive, vertical philosophy was clear to see and he is getting the best out of Anthony Elanga and Yoane Wissa - who both scored in the win over Spurs - after they suffered difficult first seasons on Tyneside.
If there was one manager who would be entitled to the excuse of needing more time it would be the former RB Salzburg and Al-Ahli head coach but he has impressively hit the ground running.
And when De Zerbi is asking for patience, Hart feels the instant impact of Jaissle by comparison means it is likely to be in short supply.
"I think when you see what Jaissle has done at Newcastle in a lot less time that is where the frustration is going to come," Hart told BBC's Match of the Day.
"Because that understanding, and you have got to have understanding, is going to be difficult with that change and we are only two games in.
"But to see Newcastle flowing like they did today, with everyone playing on the same tune and getting the best out of players who were there previously, there is going to be continued frustration and the Premier League waits for no-one.
"But that is why it is so impressive, and it is important we talk about what Jaissle has done. Because I have been in it and it is difficult. Understanding each other, understanding each other's movements, understanding what the manager wants.
"I did it at Celtic and there was a huge turnover under Ange [Postecoglou] and it took us a real long time to get going. But when we did get going, it was special, so obviously Tottenham Hotspur are going to hope that is the same for them."
