Tottenham face Bayern Munich this week in their latest pre-season friendly and are set for a reunion with Harry Kane.

The Europa League winners began their summer schedule last month away to League One side Reading.

Following a 2-0 victory over the Royals, Spurs faced Wycombe and Luton in the same day on July 26.

Thomas Frank's side jetted to Asia for matches against Arsenal and Newcastle last week.

They began the trip by beating the Gunners in Hong Kong, the first time the north London derby had been held overseas.

The tour concluded with a 1-1 draw against Newcastle at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in South Korea on Sunday.

Spurs will conclude their pre-season friendly schedule against Bayern before the UEFA Super Cup on August 13.

Frank's first Premier League match in charge is scheduled for August 16 at home to newly-promoted Burnley.

Bayern Munich vs Tottenham: Where to watch

Spurs meet Bayern at the Allianz Arena in Munich on Thursday, August 7.

Their clash with the Bundesliga champions is set to kick-off at 5.30pm UK time.

Fans will be able to watch the match live on the club's official streaming platform, SPURSPLAY.

Coverage from Germany will begin an hour before kick-off at 4.30pm.

Bayern Munich vs Tottenham: Team news

Frank was handed a major injury worry during the clash with Newcastle on Sunday.

James Maddison was stretchered off after suffering a 'bad' knee injury during the closing stages.

The midfielder is set to join what is already a lengthy injury list for the new manager to contend with.

Kota Takai, Destiny Udogie and Manor Solomon all remained at Hotspur Way for treatment during the Asian tour.

They joined long-term absentees Radu Dragusin, Dejan Kulusevski and Bryan Gil in missing out.

Heung-min Son played his final match for Spurs on Sunday after announcing his decision to leave.

The club captain was given an emotional send off as he closes in on a move to MLS side Los Angeles FC.

Dominic Solanke could return, though, after recovering from an ankle injury which has kept him out since the win at Reading.

There may also be a debut for new signing Joao Palhinha, who signed on a season-long loan from Bayern on Sunday.

As for the German giants, Kane is likely to face his former club along with recent addition Luis Diaz.

However, Vincent Kompany will be without both Alphonso Davies and Jamal Musiala.

Bayern Munich vs Tottenham: What's been said

Speaking after the draw with Newcastle, Frank explained: "Sometimes in life and football things can be both beautiful and brutal.

"That's what we got today. It looks like a bad injury (for Maddison) and then, on the other side, unbelievable scenes for Son from his team-mates and the respect from the Newcastle players.

"First we had the walkaround and then the team-mates gathered around and he was emotional.

"In the changing room it was more of the same. I just said a few things but not much because it's about Sonny. Then he said a few things. It was beautiful."

Meanwhile, Kompany also spoke to reporters ahead of the match.

The former Burnley boss said: "It's an unusual pre-season – a short vacation, short preparation and then back to work.

"But we're up for it. We don't have much time. We want to be physically ready for the early games."
