On the one hand, the Whites have only lost twice in the Premier League from nine outings.

On the other, well, the Whites have one won twice in the Premier League from nine outings.

Last time out, it was a familiar tale for Daniel Farke's side, who competed pretty well at Bournemouth, but wound up losing 2-0.

So much so, that it has been reported for a number of weeks now that Farke has agreed a new contract with Leeds in principle.

However, that has yet to be confirmed, and Leeds have not won since beating Newcastle United 4-1 on 14 September.

Since then, there have been three draws, while there have been five stalemates altogether in the top flight.

Myers thinks those draws are what is making the fanbase nervous ahead of facing Tottenham, especially given how compact the table is, with just three points separating Brentford in sixth and Ipswich Town in 14th.

Speaking live on Sky Sports News, Myers was asked if Leeds fans are happy, to which he replied: "It's an interesting one, because the defeat against Bournemouth at the weekend was only their second defeat of the season, but they've only won two as well.

"I think where the problem has been is the amount of draws, that has made the fanbase a little nervous. The other thing is how tight it is down the bottom of the league, or that bottom half of the league.

"We saw on Monday, Everton beat Newcastle and went from 14th to seventh. Added on top of that, a resurgent Tottenham Hotspur are coming, they lost 2-1 to Tottenham last season at Elland Road.

"It will be a nervy one for Leeds and Daniel Farke, and on top of that he has a number of injuries he has to contend with.

"I'm sure Leeds fans when it comes to Elland Road they'll be up to the task, and there for the team of course."

Will the draws derail Leeds United?

One of the main criticisms levelled at Farke is whether he is a little too pragmatic.

Some among the fanbase feel the German is maybe more focused on not losing games than he is on rolling the dice and trying to win them.

Well, it's an argument that does hold some weight when you consider the amount of draw there have been all season.

Leeds don't need to be hitting any panic buttons just yet, but it would be nice to be heading into the international break on the back of a much-needed win.
