Arsenal have emerged victorious over Tottenham Hotspur yet again in the North London Derby.
The Gunners showed the difference in levels between the two clubs for the second time this season. Mikel Arteta’s men have won 4-1 home and away now, which demonstrates pure dominance.
Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyokeres both scored two goals each to give Arsenal the win, and those two players will deservedly get all the plaudits.
However, another Arsenal star who deserves some praise is William Saliba, even though he wasn’t at his best against Tottenham on Sunday.

William Saliba sets a new Arsenal record after beating Tottenham
Arsenal signed William Saliba in 2019, but it wasn’t until the first game of the 2022/23 season that he got to make his senior debut.
Since then, the Frenchman has been one of the first names on the team sheet every single week, and he is up there with the best defenders in the world right now.
Saliba started against Tottenham on Sunday, and he did struggle a bit, especially in the first half. However, he looked a lot better after the break and helped Arsenal win the game.

Having been an Arsenal fan since he was a kid, Saliba would’ve loved the result, but this is something he has gotten used to, especially at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Saliba has played four North London Derbies at Spurs’ home ground, and he has won every single one of them, with an aggregate score of 10-3.
That is an outrageous achievement considering that Arsenal and Tottenham have been playing each other for nearly 130 years.

William Saliba is on track to break Thierry Henry’s Arsenal record against Tottenham
Saliba must absolutely love playing against Tottenham.
Since making his Premier League debut for Arsenal in 2022, the Frenchman has faced Spurs eight times and has never lost – seven wins and a draw.
Thierry Henry holds the record for most North London Derby appearances without tasting defeat – the Arsenal legend went 11 games unbeaten against Tottenham.
However, the French striker only won seven of those games, a feat which Saliba has already matched despite playing three fewer games.
If the Arsenal number two avoids defeat in the next derby and picks up another victory, he will set the record for most wins by a player against Spurs without ever losing.
We also think Saliba will go on and break Henry’s 11-game unbeaten record quite comfortably.
