Woking FC have announced their pre-season fixtures ahead of the 25/26 season and it features games against three heavyweights of English club football, one of which is just off the back of their win in the Europa League final.

The Laithwaite Community Stadium will see visits from some of the 'big dogs' of English football this summer as part of Woking FC's pre-season. Most notably, recent Europa League winners Tottenham Hotspur, who will take the trip down south to play Woking FC at the National League side's home stadium in the afternoon of Saturday, July 26.

Just three days later, the Surrey-based team will make the short journey to meet another Premier League team in Fulham FC at Motspur Park in New Malden on Tuesday July 29. In an evening match-up in a stadium which representatives of Woking have said has a limited maximum capacity of 500.

In the final game of the National League side's 'mini tour' of top-flight teams, Neal Ardley's squad will play against Bournemouth FC at the Laithwaite Stadium. The match, which is the final game of the club's pre-season will take place in the afternoon of Saturday, August 2.

Before these three matches where Woking will undoubtedly be underdogs, the Surrey-based team has scheduled some more even matchups as part of their pre-season. July 12 will see the team play the Met Police's football club at the Imber Court stadium, on July 15, Championship side Portsmouth FC will visit the the Laithwaite Stadium, and on July 19 Neal Ardley's side will travel to the Badgers Sports Ground to play Isthmian League-team Cray Valley FC.

Representatives of Woking FC have said that ticketing information will be released by the club, and the teams they will be playing against, in due course.

Woking football club are coming off the back of their disappointing semi-final defeat to local rivals Aldershot Town in the FA Trophy. The team still currently hold the joint-record for the most FA Trophy final wins, but sadly were not able to make it to the final, losing 2-1.

One team which has had a lot to celebrate about, at least in European competitions, is Tottenham Hotspur. Fresh off the back of their 1-0 win against Manchester United in the Europa League final, Spurs will be looking at keep this winning mentality going on their visit to the Laithwaite stadium, where they will face off against, admittedly smaller opponents, in National League side Woking FC.

If playing against European champions wasn't enough of a baptism of fire to kick-off Woking's 25/26 season, games against Bournemouth and Fulham will come in the week after.

The two Premier League teams have had somewhat of a similar trajectory in recent times - both getting promoted from the Championship in the last four seasons; and both since establishing themselves as teams capable of fighting for European league places.
