Our Women’s Under-19s will face London Bees in the quarter-final of the Capital Women’s Cup.
Progressing to the final eight of the competition for a second year in a row, the tie will take place on Thursday 2 April at Cheshunt Football Club, with kick-off at 7.45pm.
Tasked with facing Dulwich Hamlet at the previous stage, our youngster put in an impressive performance against the senior side to secure a 2-1 victory at Champion Hill after an own goal before a stunner from Grace Bellwood.
It will be another tough test for Sabiha Jamal’s side as The Bees are currently competing in the FA Women’s National League Division One South East – the fourth tier of Women’s football - and sat third in the table.
Supporters will be allowed to attend the game at Cheshunt and show their support for the next generation of talent at the Club.
Full ticketing details will be announced in due course.
Due to our involvement in the cup clash, our Professional Game Academy League fixture at home to Crystal Palace, which was scheduled for Wednesday 1 April, will now take place on Wednesday 6 May.
