Ranking the top 3 Tottenham players with the most potential - Hotspur HQ
Description

Tottenham are done and dusted in the Premier League this season, but if their success in the Europa League is anything to go off of, there is the hope of a bright future at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with so many young pieces capable of taking the next leap to superstardom.

In appreciation of these talents, let's rank the three highest-upside Tottenham players right now in 2025.

Destiny Udogie is a special player when you look at his uniqueness, positional versatility, athleticism, and technical ability. A left-footed left wing back who is comfortable playing either side, coming up into the midfield, overlapping or underlapping with a winger, and stepping up to shoot, Udogie has the potential to be the total package at the position for Tottenham.

Spurs are demonstrably better with Udogie in the lineup. He has the athletic ability to make copious ball recoveries and the game intelligence to know which situations to aggressively overlap and which ones to add numbers in midfield. He presses well, winning possession high up the pitch for quick counters and has the goal threat to turn those chances into something more.

Udogie now has four years of starting experience in a top-five league but is still just 22. He has been worth every bit of the 20 million euros Tottenham spent to sign him from Udinese, as Transfermarkt now rates him as double that. It's not inconceivable that as he continues to progress, he could be worth nearly double that amount, too, within a few years.

Tottenham beat Barcelona to the punch for Lucas Bergvall, and the young center midfielder has almost immediately become the best box-to-box player on the team, above top-five league veterans Yves Bissouma and Rodrigo Bentancur.

Bergvall has a certain dynamism about him and a clutch factor that has come up big in this season's Europa League campaign. The Swedish international is a great ball-winner and progressor off the dribble with an eye for goal.

Just 19 years of age, Bergvall is already breaking out and should be one of the most important Tottenham players when the 2025/26 season begins. He has a level of all-around quality his midfield teammates don't in terms of his athleticism, defensive contributions, and technical quality as a passer and dribbler. He has a chance to be one of the best midfielders in the world in five years, which is why Real Madrid are already watching him.

It may seem blasphemous to have Bergvall ranked only second among Tottenham players with the highest potential, but he and Mathys Tel are pretty much neck-and-neck. And when it comes to difference-making players, inverted wingers who can score, create, and beat defenders are often the most impactful players in world football. Look no further than the likes of Ousmane Dembele, Vinicius Junior, Kylian Mbappe, Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, Mohamed Salah, and, of course, Son Heung-min over the past couple of years.

As Son enters the decline phase of his career at the age of 32, Tottenham have to start looking for replacements. They may have found a tailor-made one in Tel, who is on loan from Bayern Munich and can be signed for 45 million pounds - or less. With each passing game week, Tel does more and more to secure a future at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, creating frequent chances for his teammates, carrying a goal threat the other wingers don't, and showing more skill and initiative on the ball than his peers.

Players like Tel are difficult to find, and Tottenham have a ripe chance to sign a potential world-class left winger who can score and assist 10 and 10 per season, like Son was doing in his prime. Bergvall has the potential to be one of the best box-to-box midfielders in the world, but the 20-year-old Tel has a chance to be one of the best forwards in the world. I think that gets a slight edge in terms of value added to Tottenham.

Mathys Tel is about to seal his Tottenham future - Hotspur HQ
Description

As the 2024/25 Premier League season winds down for Tottenham and the focus turns solely to the May 21 Europa League Final against Manchester United, about half the players in the first-team squad are playing for their futures at the club.

Perhaps the player in the most precarious position has also been one of the team's most impressive over the last few weeks. Mathys Tel was acquired on loan from Bayern Munich in the winter transfer window, and after an injury to Son Heung-min at the beginning of April, the young Frenchman became the main starting left winger with a huge opportunity to impress.

Tottenham can purchase Tel permanently for 45 million pounds, and while Spurs could negotiate that price down with Bayern since Die Roten puzzlingly don't seem to have any future plans for him, Tel keeps making moves that should entice Tottenham to keep him at the original price if necessary.

Even though Tottenham were embarrassed again on Sunday in the Premier League with a 2-0 loss to Crystal Palace, Tel gave the club even more reasons to keep him around for the foreseeable future.

Mathys Tel was Tottenham's best player vs. Crystal Palace

The 20-year-old left winger was the best player on the pitch in the defeat, particularly when you compare him to the other attacking players. Tel created two chances and won four fouls and made four tackles with three dribbles completed. He played like a man on a mission to not lose, showing more initiative on the attacking end and just as much fight on the defensive end as any Tottenham player.

And once again, Tel made headlines with Spurs fans for actions with the faithful. He was seen humbly signing autographs and interacting with fans as if he were a permanent member of the squad who had been there for years.

Tel is fighting for the team on the pitch with more desire than some of the Tottenham players who have actually been there for years. He's not even technically on the books at the club, yet he is doing everything he can to help even when the result technically doesn't count for anything, as was the case against Crystal Palace.

These are the moments in the season where you see who wants to be here and who doesn't. Tel clearly wants to be a Tottenham player, and I think that's invaluable; it's certainly worth 45 million pounds when the player himself has the upside to be worth double that amount in five years if all goes well.

For all the years Tottenham have spent not believing in talent, not taking risks, and not building a team around players who truly want to build something, Tel is an opportunity to change that narrative. How many big-name loan signings at Tottenham would sign autographs or leap into the stands or do any of the things Tel is doing? If there is any sense in the board room and any sense of fairness at Tottenham Hotspur, Tel will be sealing a move to the club shortly.

Latest Tottenham transfer rumor puts Dejan Kulusevski under more pressure - Hotspur HQ
Description

Despite adding Dominic Solanke, Richarlison, James Maddison, and Brennan Johnson over the past two years under manager Ange Postecoglou, the Tottenham attack has been underperforming in the 2024/25 campaign. Son Heung-min doesn't quite have the same pep in his step, while Solanke has struggled to score with the same consistent as in 2023/24 with the Cherries.

Tottenham could be looking to inject more goals into their attack this summer. Signing another striker is a possibility, though it seems more likely that Spurs will stick with Solanke for another year. Johnson has supplied a team-high 11 goals from the wing but with little else. Mathys Tel is an easy permanent transfer to make but too young to be considered a top scoring winger.

According to a report from Sky Sports's Lyall Thomas, Tottenham have joined fellow Premier League powerhouses Liverpool, Newcastle, and Manchester United as players interested in Brentford right winger Bryan Mbeumo, arguably the biggest attacking breakout star in the English top flight this season. Per Thomas, the Bees are in no rush to sell Mbeumo this summer and have set a valuation above 60 million pounds for the 25-year-old forward.

Bryan Mbeumo can actually help Tottenham

A year after spending 65 million pounds and in need of sales in order to buy, Tottenham are not likely to spend that much money on a player this year. But if they do sell players for a sufficient amount of money, it is plausible they could make a plunge for one proven Premier League commodity to juice up their attack if they win the Europa League over Manchester United and qualify for next season's Champions League.

Mbeumo is one of the few players who, on paper, makes sense for Tottenham. If you are going to build a way forward with an all-around No. 9 like Solanke, then you are going to need to get a lot of goals from the wings. And in turn, Solanke has the skill-set to help a rotation of trigger-happy wingers like Son, Mbeumo, Tel, and Johnson get their goals.

Going after Mbeumo would, however, leave Dejan Kulusevski as an odd man out. Kulu has been a key player for Tottenham and beloved by most fans since joining from Juventus. A standout in Serie A and even the league's best young player at Parma before starting in Turin, Kulusevski has worn many hats at Tottenham, even starting as a pretty decent box-to-box midfielder in a pinch this season.

The problem with Kulusevski is he's just not able to provide the explosive one-on-one ability or goal-scoring end product that a team like Tottenham needs in order to secure top-five finishes in a devilishly competitive Premier League. To wit, Kulusevski has not provided more than 11 goal contributions in a season in his last three Premier League campaigns. Mbeumo, on the other hand, is at 18 goals and 6 assists for a Brentford side that was far less expensive to put together.

It's hard to say that Tottenham should get rid of Kulusevski, and it is impossible to deny that he is a good footballer. Kulusevski is a talented progressor and a decent creator who works hard for Spurs. But it's becoming more clear that Kulusevski is a rotational midfielder and winger, rather than someone who can start every game and score the 10 goals and 10 assists per season that Spurs would need from a starting winger to compete with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester City every year.

Tottenham pursuing Mbeumo this summer is a big "if" from a financial perspective, but "if" they were to make a play for the Brentford superstar, then Kulusevski would almost certainly be on his way out, along with other sellable attacking assets like Richarlison. Only then would Spurs have the financial and squad space clear for a weekly starting, goal-getting right winger like Mbeumo. The fact that Spurs are being linked isn't clear-cut evidence, but it should be taken by Kulusevski as a small, potential storm cloud brewing along the horizon.

Mathys Tel gave Tottenham another reason to keep him - Hotspur HQ
Description

Tottenham are celebrating an appearance in the Europa League Final and a chance to win the first major trophy in club history and punch their ticket to the Champions League next season in one fell swoop. The success in Europe comes at a time when Tottenham are stumbling to their worst Premier League finish in club history, leaving Ange Postecoglou in a situation where he could be fired despite winning prestigious silverware.

Postecoglou isn't the only person on Tottenham whose future hangs in the balance, as standout young forward Mathys Tel is also at a key point in his career. Tottenham have the option to buy the Bayern Munich man for 45 million pounds but are working to negotiate that fee down. How much they are willing to pay for Tel will ultimately dictate the player's future, and there are some Spurs fans who believe so much in taking a gamble on his obvious potential that they'd even be OK with the club paying full price for the winger.

On the pitch, Tel has performed well over the past month in the absence of club legend Son Heung-min due to a foot injury. Tel has made the left wing his home and has outperformed the other potential options at the position, including fellow young gun Brennan Johnson and established Premier League veteran Richarlison.

Mathys Tel made an impact on and off the pitch vs. Bodo Glimt

In the Europa League semifinal win over Bodo Glimt, Tel came into the match for Richarlison in the 60th minute and immediately improved the team. Tel offers far more chance-creation and one-on-one threat with his explosive dribbling off the left than Richarlison does, and that threat helped stretch Bodo Glimt a little more and open things up for the others.

But what really grabbed headlines was what Tel did after the game. He joined the Tottenham fans in attendance in Norway by jumping into the crowd to celebrate, showing such copious amounts of jubilation and genuine joy that Spurs fans couldn't help but feel fired up watching how much the win meant to him.

It may sound a little silly and overly simplistic, but scenes like that do matter a lot. Everyone knows how talented Tel is. Bayern recruited him heavily from France for a reason, and whenever he's been on the pitch for either European powerhouse, he has shown a level of quality with his touches and movements that indicate he can be a world-class forward with all the right ingredients.

One of those ingredients is heart. Tel has only been with Tottenham for a few months, yet the way he has always fought for the team and looked to take defenders on is a sign that he will give it his all for Spurs no matter the circumstances. He wants to be with Tottenham regardless of how bad of a period this is for them in the Premier League.

And in victory, he is showing that he wants to be a part of the club with how he celebrates with the fans. You can't fake that kind of happiness. Tottenham have enough players where it's dubious if they truly want to be there, or it's outright obvious that they are phoning it in. Tel's actions on and off the pitch are that of someone who wants to be a part of the culture at Spurs and turn it into a winning one, and I think that's a compelling reason for the club to want to invest in him as a part of their future.

5 Tottenham Hotspur players with contracts expiring next month - Hotspur HQ
Description

There are 5 Tottenham Hotspur players with contracts expiring next month. Of them all, one stands out as being a MUST renewal for Spurs.

Tottenham Hotspur can save their season by winning the UEFA Europa League, and it could be the last chance for several players at the club to win silverware. A dismal Premier League campaign sees Ange Postecoglou's own future under huge threat even if he claims the European trophy.

There haven't been many positives to take from the season, especially for the squad individually. Son Heung-Min has shown regression, Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero have ran into constant injury problems, and the jury is still out on Brennan Johnson.

None of that quartet's contracts are up this summer, with Son signing a new one-year deal in January. But a fair few of their teammates head into the season's final weeks with their time in North London drawing close to an end.

Tottenham players contracts up this summer

Ben Davies

Tottenham's injury crisis has hit Postecoglou's defence the most, and Ben Davies was one of its victims. The Welsh left-back nursed a hamstring injury in the winter and fortunately returned to action in March to give vital cover in central defence.

Davies, 32, has been with Spurs for over a decade, arriving from Swansea City in the summer of 2014. He's the club's longest-serving player, but his current deal is up in June.

The Standard reported in December that the club intends to trigger the one-year option in his contract. His versatility has been a real benefit this season and he offers valuable experience for a young assembled squad. But for now, he remains one of the five players whose contracts expire this summer.

Sergio Reguilon

It's remarkable that the Spaniard remains a Spurs player, given his lack of appearances during his five years with the club. Daniel Levy beat Manchester United to his signature in the summer of 2020, paying Atletico Madrid in a reported £32m deal.

Reguilon, 28, started off well in North London but soon faded into obscurity. He's only appeared five times across competitions this season. Three loan spells at United, Brentford, and Atleti haven't resulted in him breaking back into the first team upon his return.

"Look mum, I played a football game yesterday" was his response to being handed his first outing for the club since April 2022 when he came off the bench in a 4-3 Carabao Cup win over United in December. He will undoubtedly be off this summer and become a free agent, and Turkish giants Galatasaray and Besiktas were thought to be keen earlier this year.

Fraser Forster

The veteran English goalkeeper came into Postecoglou's side during Guglielmo Vicario's spell out with a fractured ankle. He appeared seven times in the league, managing just one clean sheet before Spurs swooped for Antonin Kinsky in January.

Fraser Forster, 37, has been playing backup for the majority of his three-year stay at the club and that looks like ending this summer. There was talk of the former Celtic shot-stopper departing in the January transfer window but he stayed put.

Kinsky's arrival means there's little chance of Forster competing with the Czech and Vicario for the number one spot. He's almost certain to make an exit and his showing against United in the Carabao Cup explains why that's probably best for all parties involved.

Timo Werner

Postecoglou furiously put Timo Werner on blast earlier this season by branding the German attacker's performance in a 1-1 draw with Rangers in the Europa League "unacceptable". He's found game time hard to come by and it is mind-blogging that the club opted to sign him on loan for a second year.

Werner, 29, has managed just one goal and three assists in 27 games across competitions this season. The Lilywhites haven't been able to rely on him and it's clear he'll be headed back to parent club RB Leipzig once his loan expires.

There were suggestions that an early termination clause existed in the loan agreement, but those claims were shot down. Postecoglou was said to be willing to let the former Chelsea man prove himself but it's safe to say he hasn't

Mathys Tel

Another Spurs loanee whose future is up in the air heading towards the summer transfer window is Mathys Tel. The French forward took plenty of persuading to make the move to North London but the club prevailed, signing him on loan with the option of a permanent deal for around £45m.

Tel, 20, was in-demand with the likes of United and Arsenal also thought to be eyeing him. He's shown glimpses of promise that may be enough to convince Levy to secure his long-term future with the North Londoners.

The good news is that Spurs might not have to fork out £45m as reports in Germany claim Bayern Munich are willing to negotiate. The line given is that the Bundesliga champions are prepared to do business "well under" the original price.

James Maddison injury return date set, and it's underwhelming for Tottenham

James Maddison injury return date set, and it's underwhelming for Tottenham - Hotspur HQ
Description

Tottenham defeated Bodo Glimt 3-1 in the first leg of the Europa League semifinals, but they lost an important player in the process. James Maddison suffered a knee injury that initially didn't appear serious, but, now, scans have revealed more damage than initially thought. The England international will miss three months in total, according to a report from BBC Sport's Sami Mokbel.

The injury now puts Maddison at risk of missing the preseason of the 2025/26 season, in addition to missing the remaining matches of the 2024/25 campaign. So not only won't Maddison, Spurs best player right now, be able to help the team win the Europa League, but he could also have lingering effects into the next season.

Now the good news is, per Mokbel, Maddison won't need surgery on his knee. But it's still a bad enough injury that we are talking about a timescale of months and not weeks. Tottenham have been hit hard by injuries this season again, and Maddison's knee issue is actually the second season-ender to close the campaign; Tottenham are also without young star Lucas Bergvall for the final weeks and the Europa League title chase.

James Maddison is important to Tottenham

Maddison has been vital to Tottenham this season, scoring big goals and recording match-winning assists in important games. The former Leicester City man is second on the team with nine goals and second on the team with seven assists in the Premier League season, so that's a lot of goals left on the table for a team that can be very streaky when it comes to that.

Long-term, Tottenham can't afford Maddison to have any aggravations or negative impact of this injury, because he is their main creative influence. Maddison is vital to the team from a chance-creation and ball progression perspective both in the midfield and in the attacking third. He also has the technical quality to score goals from range, and that's going to be of value to Tottenham, regardless of who the next manager is or what system they play.

In the prime of his career at the age of 28, let's hope Maddison has a full recovery and can get back in time for the 2025/26 Premier League season without missing any games for Tottenham. It's difficult to imagine where Spurs would be this season if it weren't for the 21 starts and 31 total appearances Maddison was able to give to the team.

Tottenham get their first positive injury update before Bodo Glimt second leg

Tottenham get their first positive injury update before Bodo Glimt second leg - Hotspur HQ
Description

On Thursday night in Norway, Tottenham will face Bodo Glimt in the second leg of the Europa League semifinals with a 3-1 lead on aggregate. Even though they will be without Lucas Bergvall and James Maddison after season-ending injuries, Tottenham will have starting striker Dominic Solanke available after an injury scare last week, as the Daily Mail's Matt Barlow reports that he is confident he will be fit for the second leg.

Solanke suffered a minor injury against Bodo Glimt last Thursday in the first leg and was taken off as a precaution. Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou held both the starting striker and attacking midfielder James Maddison out of the West Ham game on Sunday, and while Maddison's knee injury ended up being serious, Solanke's groin issue doesn't appear to be a bother.

With Son Heung-min potentially back from a multi-week foot injury that was slowing him before Tottenham made the decision to shut him down, Solanke may not be a guaranteed starter for Spurs on Thursday at Bodo Glimt. Richarlison is another option to start at striker with Son on the left wing, as Richarlison was merely taken off early against Bodo Glimt as a precatuionary measure.

Dominic Solanke and Richarlison both started last week

Solanke has looked good lately, scoring in recent fixtures for Tottenham and providing a key physical presence in the box, so he stands a good chance at starting on Thursday. But Richarlison has also been in solid scoring form over the last few weeks, so it will be a tight decision for Postecoglou. In last week's Bodo Glimt fixture, Richarlison started on the left wing and Solanke at striker.

Although Tottenham are heavy favorites to go through to the Europa League Final to face Premier League rivals Manchester United, who are up 3-0 themselves against Athletic Club, Spurs know that with their history, they can't take a 3-1 lead for granted, even against underdogs like Bodo Glimt. All hands on deck could be needed on Thursday night, and even if Solanke merely comes off the bench in the second leg, that could still be a vital role to play for the former Liverpool and Chelsea striker.

With the pessimistic injury news for Maddison and Bergvall, it's good to see that Tottenham aren't down another key player with the home stretch of the Europa League coming up and the season on the line. Those two injuries are more than enough blows to Spurs.

Tottenham lose another crucial player for the rest of the season

Tottenham lose another crucial player for the rest of the season - Hotspur HQ
Description

Tottenham were already reeling after learning that star midfielder Lucas Bergvall, arguably the team's most promising player, suffered an eight-week injury before the Bodo Glimt match that will cost him the rest of the season. Now, the BBC's Sami Mokbel is reporting that attacking midfielder James Maddison's knee injury from the Bodo Glimt win is worse than expected and will cost him the remaining three weeks of the 2024/25 campaign.

Maddison had initial scans showing that the injury was worse than initially anticipated, and further scans are reportedly set to take place in the next 48 hours to determine the severity of the former Leicester City man's knee injury, including if he has been dealt any ligament damage.

The injury to Bergvall, already Spurs best box-to-box midfielder, was bad enough, but, now, Tottenham will have to try and win the Europa League, including a likely clash in the Final against fellow Premier League giants Manchester United, without their best player of the season.

James Maddison has been vital to Tottenham

Maddison has been vital to Tottenham from a creative, progressive, and even goal-scoring perspective this season with nine goals, seven assists, and more than two fouls drawn per game in the Premier League. Those fouls drawn, though, are taking a toll on the injury-prone No. 10, whose vital goal contributions will not be a factor for Tottenham in these crucial Europa League fixtures.

The injury to Maddison could mean more opportunities for Mikey Moore and further chances for Archie Gray, who is already vital to Tottenham with Bergvall out for the campaign. Things have gotten tougher for Tottenham from an attacking perspective, but at least South Korean superstar Son Heung-min should be ready for a return from his injury by the time Tottenham expect to face Manchester United in the Europa League Final.

For Tottenham, the most important thing now will be seeing the true extent of the damage to Maddison's knee. Hopefully, this isn't a long-term thing that puts Maddison at jeopardy of missing matches to start the 2025/26 season or, worse yet, ends up being something that lingers and puts the 28-year-old at risk of re-injury.

Maddison has been one of the few veteran signings working in Spurs favor. They wouldn't have gotten this far in the Europa League without him, and they may have even been at legitimate risk of relegation in the Premier League without Maddison functioning as one of their top three goal threats and one of their top three creators at the same time.

Season-ending Lucas Bergvall injury means huge opportunity for one Tottenham man - Hotspur HQ
Description

Lucas Bergvall has been one of the few bright spots for Tottenham this season, but just days after he signed a six-year extension with the club, the Swedish international is set to be shut down for the remainder of the campaign.

Prior to the first leg of the Europa League semifinals against Bodo Glimt, Bergvall could be spotted on the sidelines in a walking boot and cast, and Yves Bissouma was named a starter in his absence, putting in a strong shift in the process.

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has confirmed the fears of a Bergvall injury, affirming initial reports that Bergvall will miss the remainder of the 2024/25 season with an eight-week injury. It's a sad way for Bergvall to end a great season, and it means Tottenham won't have his help for the crucial Europa League knockout fixtures ahead.

Archie Gray is the next man up

But from a Premier League standpoint, the league is already a lost cause for Spurs. The key now is unearthing more Bergvalls, and his injury is, naturally, an opportunity for another up-and-coming player to get the minutes he needs to stand out and build momentum.

Alongside Bergvall, Archie Gray was the other big center midfield signing by Tottenham this past summer, and the two teenagers are expected to be the future building blocks of a Spurs midfield that hasn't been a strong suit for the club in years.

Gray is the next man up, and while he has gotten opportunities in midfield this season, Postecoglou hasn't given him nearly enough consistency in one position to build the momentum he needs to get his spot. The former Leeds man has been starting at center back, and while that does show his versatility, it's not ideal for a young player to be constantly switching his positions when he's just trying to figure things out at this level.

Tottenham vs. West Ham will be the first opportunity

This weekend, Tottenham will return to Premier League action to take on West Ham, another side stuck with them at the bottom of the league table. This matchup, along with the others in the league, represent opportunities for Gray to get something going, which could be especially important if he's called upon in a big spot as a starter or off the bench in the Europa League matches.

Gray hasn't been able to shine as much as Bergvall this season, but he's the more raw prospect. Now, Postecoglou has no excuse not to play him in the Premier League before the campaign closes. Here is his chance.

Tottenham finally get positive Son Heung

Tottenham finally get positive Son Heung-min injury update - Hotspur HQ
Description

Tottenham star forward Son Heung-min hasn't featured in a game since laboring through 80 minutes in a first leg draw with Eintracht Frankfurt, as he's been dealing with a nagging injury. But Son is finally getting closer to returning to the pitch.

Initially, it seemed like Tottenham were keeping Son out of the lineup as a way of shutting him down for Mathys Tel and the criticism of a benching, as there were transfer rumblings of a move to Saudi Arabia, as well as a need to see more of what Tel can bring to the table with an option to buy deadline on the horizon.

It looks more likely that Son was playing through a foot injury for longer than he should have, and after noticing just how below his standard he was against Eintracht, Ange Postecoglou and Spurs finally made the right move to shut the South Korean superstar down for a bit.

Son Heung-min could return for the second leg

There was a slight chance Son could have played in the first leg of the Europa League semifinals against Bodo Glimt, but that predictably didn't materialize. Son wasn't fully ready yet, and Tottenham didn't feel the need to risk him, instead starting a veteran pairing of Richarlison on the left wing and Dominic Solanke at striker en route to a 3-1 opening win.

Now, Tottenham are finally getting some good news on the Son Heung-min injury front. According to manager Ange Postecoglou, via The Spurs Express, the 32-year-old is back on the grass and pushing hard to return for the second, decisive leg on the road against Bodo Glimt in the Europa League.

Tottenham will face Bodo Glimt next Thursday, so that gives Spurs plenty of time to have their most accomplished player back on the pitch. While Tottenham can and should win without Son in this second leg, given their, ahem, history of not gettin the job done in important games, having the captain and best big-game player back would indeed be huge, even if Son has struggled in 2025.
