Tottenham Hotspur's young goalkeeper, Antonin Kinsky, has already made a strong impression on the pitch. While his time at Spurs is still in its early stages, the 21-year-old’s potential is hard to ignore.

But it’s not just his performances that have caught attention—his ambitions could be taking him to even greater heights.

According to those close to him, Kinsky has set his sights on one of the biggest clubs in world football.

Tottenham signed Kinsky early in the transfer window, and it’s clear why.

Antonin Kinsky could be destined for Real Madrid

The young Czech goalkeeper has shown exceptional confidence and composure on the ball, qualities that fit well with manager Ange Postecoglou’s system.

Kinsky's natural ability has been evident since his first training session at Spurs, with his former teammate Viktor Budinsky, who played alongside him at Czech side FK Pardubice, suggesting that the young goalkeeper could soon be playing for one of the biggest clubs in Europe.

As reported by Sport Witness, Budinsky was full of praise for Kinsky, calling him 'strong in the head, healthy, confident and purposeful.'

He went on to claim that Kinsky's potential was so great that, in just three years, he could be playing at one of the world's top clubs.

"I think Tottenham is an intermediate step for him, that an even bigger club is waiting for him," Budinsky said.

He even jokingly predicted that Kinsky would one day play at Real Madrid, adding that Kinsky was already learning Spanish in preparation.

Kinsky’s early impressions at Tottenham

Though we’ve only seen Kinsky in action for two matches, his self-belief, and readiness to challenge for a starting spot are already apparent.

The Czech Under-21 international is determined not to settle for being second-choice behind Guglielmo Vicario, and the competition between the two goalkeepers is expected to be fierce.

As Postecoglou’s system demands a lot from the goalkeeper, Kinsky's ability to step up could be vital for Spurs in the upcoming months.

Kinsky's arrival at Tottenham is just the beginning of what looks like a bright future. If he continues to develop at his current rate, the goalkeeper could indeed find himself making a move to a club like Real Madrid in the not-so-distant future, just as his former teammate predicts.

Tottenham may be lucky to have him now, but Kinsky's journey is far from over, and the world of football will be watching closely as his career unfolds.

Tottenham's Ange Postecoglou 'calls for support' for one of his top players

When Tottenham Hotspur signed Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth in the summer, many pundits questioned whether the £65 million price tag was worth it.

However, just six months into his tenure at North London, Solanke has proven to be an invaluable asset to the team, with his performances both on and off the pitch exceeding expectations.

The striker has not only filled the boots of his predecessor, Harry Kane but has also embraced leadership responsibilities, contributing to Spurs' attacking play in ways many didn’t anticipate.

Ange Postecoglou wants support for Dominic Solanke

Since he arrived at Tottenham, Solanke has faced considerable pressure to step into a significant role after the departure of Kane.

Despite a rough start, Solanke has established himself as a key figure for the Lilywhites. According to Football London, the striker's impact has been nothing short of remarkable.

"He’s been great for us. I really feel there is more to him and his game. We’ll be able to get more out of him if we can him some help," Postecoglou said.

His ability to work tirelessly for the team, not just in front of goal but also in his contributions off the ball, has been a revelation.

Solanke’s journey at Tottenham has been far from easy. Many were sceptical about his ability to fill Kane's void, but the 26-year-old has proved those doubts wrong.

His work ethic, leadership qualities, and skill on the ball have allowed him to thrive, even in the absence of Richarlison, who has been sidelined for much of the season.

With Richarlison unavailable, Solanke has been tasked with shouldering much of the attacking responsibility, and he has done so admirably.

A bargain in the making

Despite the high price tag, Solanke’s £65 million move from Bournemouth seems increasingly like a bargain for Tottenham.

"In terms of outlay, if you’re trying to sign a striker with proven pedigree these days, it’s pretty hard not to spend. Clubs know how difficult it is to get those types," Postecoglou explained, acknowledging the difficulty of securing top-class strikers in today’s market.

Solanke, who had already proven himself in the Premier League, has fit seamlessly into Tottenham’s style of play, and Postecoglou is more than pleased with his contributions.

Also, former Premier League midfielder Michael Bridges pointed out that other clubs—such as Arsenal—would undoubtedly love to have a player like Solanke leading their line.

With Solanke continuing to exceed expectations, both on the field and as a leader, Tottenham supporters can feel confident that they have found a forward capable of filling the considerable gap left by Kane.

Spurs interested in Brentford star

Description

According to a recent report from Paris based media outlet RMC Sport, Tottenham Hotspur are one of three Premier League clubs to have shortlisted Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo as a transfer target.

Tottenham looking at winger lighting up the Premier League

So far this season, he has been one of the best players in the Premier League. In 21 games, the 25-year old has scored 13 goals, provided three assists, and created ten big chances. One of his goals came against Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, though Ange's side turned it around to win the game 3-1.

In the summer, there was plenty of talk around Ivan Toney leaving the club for the Saudi Pro League, and how Brentford would cope in his absence. The biggest compliment you can pay to Mbeumo is that you sometimes forget that Toney left the club - such has been the quality of their attack since then.

All of these numbers come despite not being a striker. Whilst he has played as a split striker alongside Yoane Wissa, Mbeumo mostly plays off the right hand side, and has consistently delivered goals, assists, and general excellent performances whilst playing there.

The signing of the Cameroon international is perhaps the best example of Brentford's obscure yet superb recruitment. Back in the summer of 2019, the forward was signed from French club Troyes for a fee of £5.7 million, whilst they were still a Championship side. That season, he formed a formidable front three alongside Ollie Watkins and Said Benrahma - as they lost in the play-off final.

However, the next season, Brentford would secure promotion, with Mbeumo and Watkins' replacement - Toney - two big factors into getting them over the line, this time winning the play-off final against Swansea City.

During the club's time in the Premier League, Mbeumo has shown linear progression, improving year on year, and as good as Brentford are - it feels like even if not this month, the summer is almost surely the time for the next step in his career. He is at a good, upwardly mobile club, but he could play for a number of teams that play in European competition.

He would hugely improve Spurs' side. Whilst Brennan Johnson is a productive player numbers wise, Mbeumo is even better on that front, and his general game is also better than the Welshman's. The only thing to say is that, whilst he is an agile and dynamic player, 1v1 is not his speciality, and that is something that Spurs definitely need.

It would also be interesting to see how he adapts to playing in a side that have a lot more settled possession, and coming up against low blocks. Nevertheless, the pros do outweigh the potential cons, and this would definitely be a good signing.

Spurs loanee wins League One player of the month

It is safe to say it has been an incredible season on loan at Leyton Orient for Josh Keeley so far. Having first struggled to make the match day squad, never mind the first XI - the goalkeeper was given the gloves at the end of October, and has never dropped them since.

Although the results with Keeley in the side were inconsistent to begin with, he was generally playing pretty well. Then, heading into December in 21st place in League One, Orient won 16/18 points through the month, keeping six clean sheets in the process. That's right, 540 minutes of action, without the young Spurs goalkeeper having to pick the ball out of the back of his own net.

During that period, he even managed to register an assist, during a 2-0 win away to Leyton Orient. So, he ended the month with more assists than goals conceded. Pretty incredible. As a reward for this form, the keeper was nominated for the PFA fans League One player of the month award for December.

On loan goalkeeper given some much deserved recognition

Lo and behold, it has now been confirmed that Keeley has officially won the award of PFA fans League One player of the month, some absolutely fine and well deserved recognition for all of his efforts. Really encouraging to see, as the 21-year old continues to go from strength to strength.

His form has not stopped there, mind you - nor Orient's. The O's won their first two league games of 2025, with another clean sheet for Keeley and the defensive unit included in there too. Then, in their FA Cup third round tie at home to Derby County - the on loan Spurs man became the hero for the third round in a row, with his penalty shootout save sending them through to the fourth round.

In the first round, he saved a penalty in a shootout win against Boreham Wood. In the second round, he scored a last gasp equaliser at home to Oldham Athletic. In the third round, he was again the shootout hero in the win over Derby, after a 1-1 draw throughout 120 mins.

When it comes to League One, the goalkeeper was rewarded with his player of the month award. In the FA Cup, he has been rewarded with a fourth round tie at home to Manchester City, with Pep Guardiola and co all coming to town in a few weeks time. Incredible.

Description

This window, we have seen Tottenham Hotspur linked to a number of different players, in a number of different positions. One of the, if not the most, high profile name to be linked has been Paris Saint Germain's versatile forward, Randal Kolo Muani - who has been outcast by manager Luis Enrique this season, and for a lot of their 18 months working together in the capital of France.

As a result, the 26-year old was available this month, with Spurs, Manchester United, and Juventus seemingly showing a keen interest in his services. It was reported earlier today that Tottenham had put in a loan bid, with an option to buy, rather than an obligation.

Randal Kolo Muani turns down a move to Tottenham Hotspur

However, he will not be moving to North London. It has been widely reported that the Frenchman had a choice to make himself, and he has subsequently decided to join Juventus on a dry loan instead. Not an absolute hammer blow, but quite a shame - and regardless of any thoughts on the player, a concern regarding the club's ability to be attractive to players.

It will certainly be interesting to see where Spurs go now. Do they go for a winger instead? Do they go for a striker instead? Will they try and bring in a versatile player to cover the whole front line, like Kolo Muani? You'd imagine the latter is what they would like to bring in, but those type of players do not grow on trees - certainly not ones of the requisite quality needed anyway.

There have not been too many links to those versatile types of forward, however. Donyell Malen was one of a few, but he has since joined Aston Villa. Some would say Marcus Rashford fits that description, but he can't really "play" up front, nor on the right, he has just sometimes been thrown there, and often not played very well. If he was to sign, it would be for the left wing.

Then, there has been links to out and out strikers, such as Jonathan David and Liam Delap. Due to his contract situation, David would cost a lot less than Delap, but would he come to N17 to be a squad player? Not so sure, especially given the amount of offers he will have on the table.

Onto the next target, and all that good stuff.

Spurs loan watch: Incredible FA Cup drama

On Tuesday evening, there was FA Cup action for Josh Keeley, Jamie Donley, and their Leyton Orient side - as they hosted Championship side Derby County, in the rearranged third round tie that was postponed last weekend due to the weather.

Another incredible night for two Tottenham Hotspur loanees

Even in the Cup, no rotation - both Keeley and Donley were named in the starting XI as usual by manager Richie Wellens. It would be a bright start for the O's - taking the lead after just 20 minutes, but their visitors would strike back a mere four minutes later, to ensure the game was tied again.

Those two goals in a four minute period would be the only goals of the 90 minutes, and the game headed to extra time. In turn, they ended up being the only goals of the two hours of play, and a penalty shootout was to be completed.

In all three of Orient's FA Cup games this season, none have been decided in 90 minutes - thanks in no small part to Keeley's goal against Oldham Athletic. That game was decided in extra-time, whilst their first and third round ties went all the way to a shootout. The excellent football book "Extra Time Beckons, Penalties Loom" seems very apparent for Wellens' side.

So, spot kicks it was. Derby went first, and scored. Then, Donley stepped up to take first - and also scored. The sides would then trade a further four dispatched penalties each, leading us to sudden death. There, Keeley would keep out Callum Elder's penalty for the visitors, meaning all Orient had to do was score, to set up a tie with Manchester City in the fourth round.

That they did. Zech Obiero stepped up for the O's, making it six perfect penalties in a row to make sure that the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland, and all the rest of them will be coming to town in a few weeks time.

Mentioned it before, but to think - had that late free-kick against Oldham been headed wide by Keeley, none of this would have ever been possible. It has been an incredible collective effort from everyone, but the on loan Spurs man really is the MVP of this Orient cup run.

In the first round, he was the shootout hero against Boreham Wood, so long ago that he had only been in the team for two or three games. Then, the hero against Oldham with that goal. Now, he has been the shootout hero for the second time in three rounds. All of this whilst being incredible in League One too.

Tottenham’s Richarlison ready to make his mark in North London derby

Tottenham are preparing for their highly anticipated North London Derby against Arsenal, and all eyes are on Richarlison.

The Brazilian forward, sidelined by injury for much of the season, is back in the squad just in time for the fierce clash at the Emirates.

Tottenham’s season so far has been a rollercoaster, marked by injuries and inconsistent form. However, the timing of Richarlison’s return couldn’t be better.

Known for his fiery attitude and relentless work ethic, he is the type of player who thrives in high-stakes matches.

His presence alone could be a game-changer as Spurs look to claim bragging rights against their biggest rivals.

The North London Derby is more than just a match; it’s a test of resilience, passion, and tactical nous.

Richarlison, who has a history of delivering in heated encounters, might just be the wildcard Ange Postecoglou needs to outwit Mikel Arteta’s side.

Richarlison returns for Derby Day

According to Football London, Richarlison is officially available for selection after weeks of rehabilitation, marking his first potential appearance since November.

The 27-year-old has endured a frustratingly stop-start season, managing only seven appearances due to two injuries that have sidelined him for a combined 24 games.

Tottenham have been forced to rely heavily on Dominic Solanke during Richarlison’s absence, leaving the team short of attacking options.

Solanke’s workload has been immense, even requiring him to play against lower-league opposition in the FA Cup.

Richarlison’s return offers relief and tactical flexibility, allowing him to support Solanke or operate on the left flank, where Son Heung-min has struggled this season.

In his last outing before injury, Richarlison assisted in a 4-1 victory over Aston Villa, demonstrating his ability to contribute in key moments.

His energy and aggression, coupled with a knack for unsettling defenders, make him a valuable asset in a match as intense as the North London Derby.

What does Richarlison mean to Tottenham?

Richarlison’s impact in fiery encounters is well-documented. In the April 2024 derby, he came off the bench to nearly inspire a remarkable comeback, showcasing his physicality, determination, and fearless attitude.

Ange Postecoglou addressed Richarlison's return during his interview by highlighting the player's ability to thrive in intense, high-pressure matches: "Just good to get him back, he has had obviously an unfortunate season for us."

With Tottenham needing a turnaround in their Premier League campaign, Richarlison’s return could be the boost they need.

A standout performance at the Emirates might not just secure a crucial victory but also set the tone for the remainder of Spurs’ season.

Could Marcus Rashford be Tottenham’s next big signing?

Tottenham Hotspur and Marcus Rashford in the same sentence—this is the kind of rumour that grabs headlines and gets fans talking.

As Ange Postecoglou’s side looks to bolster their attacking options, speculation continues to swirl around the Manchester United forward.

But with competition from several European giants, can Spurs really pull off what would be a blockbuster signing?

The North London club has made no secret of its desire to compete at the highest level under Postecoglou, and the addition of a player like Rashford would certainly signal intent.

Tottenham may be eyeing a move for Marcus Rashford

However, rumours also suggest Tottenham may not have the strongest hand in this particular race, and a decision on the player’s future could be made soon.

So, what’s the latest on this potential transfer? And why does this story refuse to fade away despite the apparent hurdles?

Reports from The Independent claim that Tottenham have held 'informal talks' about signing Rashford, exploring a potential deal to bring the England international to North London.

However, the forward’s future appears more likely to lie abroad, with clubs like AC Milan, Juventus, Barcelona, and Borussia Dortmund also expressing strong interest.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Rashford’s agent, Dwaine Maynard, has already received offers from these European heavyweights.

Most proposals reportedly involve an initial loan deal with an option to buy, which could complicate Tottenham’s chances of landing the 26-year-old.

AC Milan, in particular, are said to be confident in their ability to secure Rashford’s signature. The Rossoneri are planning to meet with the player’s entourage in the coming days, which could put them firmly in the driver’s seat.

While Tottenham remains in contention, Gazzetta dello Sport speculates that the club’s interest might be used strategically by Rashford’s representatives to push other suitors into action.

Why Rashford would be a game-changer

Marcus Rashford would undoubtedly elevate any team he joins. With his pace, versatility, and knack for scoring goals, the Manchester United star has the ability to slot into multiple attacking roles.

This season, Rashford’s form has been under scrutiny, but his track record speaks volumes. He has consistently delivered for United and England, making him one of the most coveted forwards in Europe.

For Tottenham, the signing of Rashford would signal a new era under Postecoglou—a statement of ambition and a move that could transform their attacking setup.

Spurs loan watch: Midweek Preview

Description

After a rare midweek with no action for any Tottenham Hotspur loanees last time out, there is plenty of action this week to dip your toes into. Let's take a look at how the next couple of days look for those out on loan.Â

Looking ahead to midweek for all of the Tottenham loanees

To begin, Dane Scarlett and his Oxford United side make the trip down to the South West to face bottom of the league Plymouth Argyle on Tuesday. Although the U's were dumped out of the FA Cup by League One side Exeter City at the weekend, Scarlett was back in the team, and registered an assist. Their hosts are coming into this after a shock 1-0 win at Brentford. Kick off here is 19:45 GMTÂ

In the FA Cup, there are games for a few players. Josh Keeley, Jamie Donley and their Leyton Orient side saw their game against Derby County on Saturday evening postponed due to the weather, so that will take place on Tuesday evening instead. Should they manage to get through, they will be rewarded with a home tie against Manchester City in the fourth round. Kick off is 19:45 GMT.Â

Likewise for Matthew Craig and his new Mansfield Town side, with their home game against Wigan Athletic postponed for the same reasons. They would have been in League One action against Exeter City on Tuesday, but that game has now also been postponed so this one can take place. We could see Craig make his debut here. Another 19:45 GMT kick off.Â

On Wednesday evening, Alfie Dorrington and his new Aberdeen side are in SPFL action, as they make the trip to Glasgow to face Rangers at Ibrox for game week 23. The young defender was an unused sub when Spurs went there back in December. Before heading on loan to Scotland, Dorrington signed a new deal in N17 ahead of the move, signing until 2029. He could make his debut for the Dons here. Kick off is 20:00 GMT.Â

So, there we have it. Adding Dorrington to each piece may take a bit of getting used to, it has to be said. Hopefully a good move for him, with plenty of regular game time. Spurs seemed to have got their loan for Ashley Phillips at Stoke City pretty spot on, so let's hope another 19 year old centre half can follow suit, and do well. Good luck to him in any case.Â

Spurs keen on Championship attacker

Description

There has been a lot of talk this window regarding an attacker, with many agreeing that, alongside a defender, it is the most important part of the pitch when it comes to a reinforcement. Despite playing against a non league, part time side, Spurs had to use Dominic Solanke for 52 minutes on Sunday, meaning he could not get the full rest that he could clearly do with as soon as possible.

During the window, there have been links to many attackers - most notably Randal Kolo Muani of Paris Saint Germain and the France national team, as they look to give Ange more depth heading into the business end of the season.

Spurs are looking at forward from West Bromwich Albion

Well, here is another one. As per publication CaughtOffside, Chelsea and Spurs are "keen on signing" Josh Maja of Championship outfit West Bromwich Albion. They report (via Fichajes) that the player is currently valued at around £15 million pounds.

So far this season, the London born Nigerian international has scored 12 goals in 26 Championship games, as well as providing two assists and creating six big chances - as West Brom currently sit sixth in the Championship table, though their manager Carlos Corberan has been poached by La Liga strugglers Valencia.

The 26-year old does have Premier League experience, albeit things didn't go too well. Having joined Fulham on loan in January of 2021, the striker scored two goals on his first start against Everton in mid February, but proceeded to score one goal after that. He played 90 minutes against Spurs in a 1-0 win for Jose Mourinho's side, having a goal disallowed by VAR for a handball in the build up.

It should be caveated that someone as good as Aleksandar Mitrovic also scored three goals that season, as well ballon d'or nominee and African player of the year Ademola Lookman also looking pretty hopeless - such was the lack of coaching under former Spurs midfielder Scott Parker.

Although he plays for the Nigeria national team, as touched on above - Maja was born and raised in England, so would qualify as a homegrown player. He is a fine player, but in truth it would feel a bit underwhelming. Even for £15m - you'd rather give Will Lankshear some minutes and continue to develop him, whilst putting those funds towards a player with more pedigree and whom would make more of an impact than the West Brom forward - with all due respect.
