Bayern Munich will push to sign signing 19-year-old Tottenham defensive talent Luka Vuskovic if Kim Min-jae departs for a suitable offer in the summer.

Bayern Munich are ready to make a push for Luka Vuskovic with the view of replacing current first-team star Kim Min-jae. The South Korean defender is currently not seen as more than a rotational option, and Vincent Kompany seemingly wants someone to challenge his first-choice centre-backs, which has seen the club linked with the 19-year-old Tottenham prodigy.

Kim Min-jae has a few suitors, with Chelsea and Tottenham keeping close tabs on his situation ahead of the summer. Bayern Munich would consider reasonable offers for the South Korean. Once he is sold, they will push to sign Tottenham wonderkid Luka Vuskovic, who has continued to impress with his performances for Hamburger in the Bundesliga.

The Bavarian giants are not alone in the race for the 19-year-old Tottenham prodigy, with rivals Borussia Dortmund also in the mix for the Croat. However, Bayern Munich have an appeal of their own when it comes to luring in top players, and an approach would certainly entice Vuskovic towards a move.

✅ It is TRUE: Palhinha could depart Tottenham in the summer. There is a discussion ongoing at Bayern Munich because they wanted to sell the player to Spurs (as he’s currently on loan). They’d hoped the Premier League club would end up triggering the release clause (about €30m [£25.8m]). It could be that Tottenham won’t look to sign him at the moment, whilst the future of the club remains very open. From Bayern’s perspective, they’re talking about selling him to another Premier League club if he does come back to Munich. He’s played well in England, and other clubs are watching him and seeing that he’s not the problem at Tottenham. So, Bayern are optimistic that Palhinha won’t return to Germany in the summer and he’ll still be playing in the Premier League next season. But nobody knows if it will still be at Tottenham!

❌ It is NOT TRUE: Bayern Munich are interested in Elliot Anderson. He’s too expensive! It’s said that he’ll cost €80m [£68.9m], which is just too much money for Bayern Munich, and they don’t need a player in this position. It’s true that Leon Goretzka will leave the club this summer, but they’re not looking for a successor. They have Tom Bischoff, Joshua Kimmich, Aleksandar Pavlovic, and now they’re bringing back Noël Aséko. He’s a talent at the club who was on loan at Hannover. The 20-year-old had a release clause, and Hannover knew that Bayern wanted him back, so they triggered the release clause for €1m. But FC Bayern also have a clause that they can buy him back for €2.5m – so they bought him back!

There’s also another talent to think about in Santos Daiber, and he can play in this position. So, there are many options. Don’t forget that Bayern Munich want to sign Givairo Read. There are talks with Rotterdam. Perhaps they can sign him to play at right-back, which will allow Konrad Laimer to return to the midfield. Many options for Bayern, so they don’t need a new midfielder per se.

AC Milan are interested in AZ Alkmaar and Republic of Ireland international forward Troy Parrott, according to The Independent. The 24-year-old is one of the names being considered by the Rossoneri amid their search for a striker, and the Eredivisie club would reportedly be open to parting ways with him if they receive an offer worth in the region of £25 million. Parrott, who scored a dramatic hat trick in the 3-2 FIFA World Cup qualifier win against Hungary in November to secure a place in this month’s playoffs, has directly contributed to 17 goals in 22 league matches this season.

❌ It is NOT TRUE: Bayern are keen on Tottenham star Archie Gray (19). Bayern Munich would be happy to have a player like the teenager in their squad, but the position is the problem. The club doesn’t want to make a transfer in this position at the moment. It wouldn’t be cheap for starters, and this is the main problem, as Max Eberl is not allowed to pay a lot of money! But I heard that Borussia Dortmund have an eye on Gray, as Julian Brandt is set to call time on his career in Dortmund at the end of the season in search of a new club. This is why BVB are searching for a new player in this position, like Archie Gray. He could be the successor to Brandt at Dortmund, but not at Bayern Munich.

Borussia Dortmund have been closely monitoring the development of FC Köln winger Said El Mala, BILD reports. Internally, bosses at the German club have discussed a summer move for El Mala, although strong competition is expected from Bayern Munich. The 19-year-old has enjoyed a breakout campaign in the Bundesliga this season, where he has scored eight goals in 25 appearances. He is under contract at Köln until June 2030.

AC Milan and Inter are among the clubs who will try to compete with Arsenal to sign Leon Goretzka as a free agent when the midfielder’s Bayern Munich contract expires in the summer, as reported by Calciomercato. Milan have already initiated contact with the 31-year-old’s entourage, while Inter are hoping to complete a move that would be similar to the ones they have previously completed for Hakan Çalhanoglu and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Even so, Arsenal are the frontrunners to complete a deal.

For Vlahovic, who will train at Continassa today with those who didn’t play at the Bluenergy Stadium against Udinese, these are also crucial days for his contract renewal: the player and the club are rapidly moving towards a signature . This is a way to secure a striker who is essential to Spalletti’s style of football and crucial to DV9’s rapprochement with the Bianconeri.

✅ It is TRUE: Bayern Munich was watching Jonathan David before his move to Juventus. But then they decided that he’s not a Bayern player, which is why they didn’t go against Juve in the poker. New doors could now open for Jackson, as clubs from Saudi Arabia have shown interest in signing him. Al-Ahli, in particular, from Saudi Arabia’s Pro League, has set its sights on Jackson, as reported by the portal Sportsboom. The club is looking for a replacement for Ivan Toney, who has played in the league since 2024 and has scored an impressive 46 goals in 52 league appearances.

Toney, however, is planning a return to the Premier League, forcing Al-Ahli to look for a suitable replacement. Jackson could fill this gap and give his career a new direction. At Bayern Munich, Jackson has so far only played a minor role. This season he has made 22 appearances and scored five goals, but has only started seven times.

Tottenham Hotspur’s 18-year-old center-back Luka Vušković has attracted interest from top European clubs due to his exceptional skills. Despite being a key player for Hamburg, Spurs see him as their long-term defensive cornerstone. With a potential transfer fee of €60m–€70m, Vušković‘s future remains uncertain, with Tottenham standing firm on their “unsellable” stance.

Liverpool could look to sell Cody Gakpo this summer if they identify a top transfer target for his left-wing position.

Gakpo has struggled to hit top form for Liverpool this season, and may well be on his way out of the club this summer.

Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: “If Liverpool were to bring in another left-sided attacker in the summer then maybe that potentially could open the door for a move away for Cody Gakpo.

“But he’s under contract until 2030…by all accounts, he remains happy at the club even though he does come in for a bit of flak from some Liverpool fans for his performances.

“He’s clearly still seen as a key man by Arne Slot, because he keeps picking him.”

Tottenham Hotspur have an absolute gem on their hands in Luka Vuskovic, who is so good he could join Bayern Munich this summer without playing a competitive match for the Premier League side. There is genuine interest from Bayern Munich, who are always looking to sign the best players from their domestic rivals, and Tottenham supporters fear they will lose their Croatian gem

With Vuskovic, Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero all linked with moves away from Spurs, they are weighing up their options for the summer transfer window.

Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger has been linked, but another player on Spurs’ radar is Bayern’s Kim Min-jae, whose departure could pave the way for Vuskovic to join the German champions.

Chelsea could make a move for Min-jae after missing out on new Liverpool signing Jeremy Jacquet, though the 29-year-old is older than their usual transfer targets.

Min-jae is not a regular starter under Vincent Kompany and would be a wise sale for Bayern and a smart signing for Spurs.

That said, he had a very good start to life at Newcastle, so things can change quickly if he’s getting the play time and scoring. At the moment, however, a deal isn’t guaranteed. But the door could open this summer, and Woltemade, if things don’t change, could be open for a transfer. I’m not sure if Bayern Munich will be at the table this time, but it’s always a question of price.

✅ It is TRUE: Bayern retain their admiration of Nick Woltemade. Just like any club, when you have a clear admiration for a player, it’s normal to wonder about the future. That’s the point with Woltemade and Bayern Munich. Both sides know that perhaps they’ll meet again in the future. This summer is too early. Bayern Munich won’t pay the transfer fee. I heard Newcastle, perhaps, would lower their price tag. Indeed, they’re not so happy at the moment; Woltemade isn’t playing a great deal. The manager, Eddie Howe, isn’t giving him many chances to play at the moment.

🚨EXCL | VfB Stuttgart have submitted a concrete, lucrative offer to Grischa Prömel as they want to bring him in on a free transfer in the summer.

Hoffenheim, meanwhile, are keen to extend his contract long term. #VfB see him as a top leader but will not improve their offer beyond their set financial limits. Leverkusen, Frankfurt and Wolfsburg are also interested.

Prömel is keeping his options open, with a final decision expected in March.

According to a report from Sport Bild’s Christian Falk and Heiko Niedderer (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich had prized center-back prospect Luka Vušković in its grasp, but let him slip away.

Why?

Well, a Bayern Munich scout felt the young Croatian was too arrogant on the ball.

We kid you not:

Luka Vušković was offered to FC Bayern in February 2023 as a 15-16 year old. He was available for €3m plus €2m add-ons from Hajduk Split. Bayern decided against the move after negative scouting reports - the chief scout back then described Vušković as ‘too arrogant on the ball’ and said ‘we didn’t really like him’. Ultimately, Tottenham saw potential in him and signed him the following summer for around €15m.

Well, as of now, this looks like a monumental — maybe catastrophic — miss. Maybe there is a fine line between being arrogant on the ball and being confident, but in this case that perception cost Bayern Munich a very affordable and incredibly talented prospect.

Bayern Munich News: FC Bayern to take advantage of Tottenham Hotspur’s ‘neglect’ with Luka Vušković?

Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea are all showing interest in future Germany superstar Lennart Karl, according to a report, and the Bayern Munich ace already knows which club he wants to join.

Karl is the most valuable 17-year-old in the world, having made his senior debut for Bayern at the Club World Cup in June. The attacking midfielder is enjoying a breakout campaign at Bayern and has notched seven goals and three assists in 28 appearances so far.

Despite interest from some of England’s most illustrious clubs, Real Madrid are considered frontrunners in the pursuit of Karl.

This player is not coming back to Spurs! Another of many players the Spurs had a chance with, but they made the wrong decision. This is an example of the problem Spurs have been having within the football department! A total neglect. They will make good money, for sure, but there’s no football direction within the club. Off to Bayern he goes no wonder I will not blame him.

Talks are underway between Napoli and Raheem Sterling with the free agent winger keen to reunite with good friend and former Manchester City teammate Kevin De Bruyne, according to The Sun. The 31-year-old had his Chelsea contract terminated by mutual consent last week and is willing to take a wage reduction to secure a move abroad and rejuvenate his career. Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna has already mentioned Sterling’s “significant financial expectations” and a loan attempt fell through last summer due to that same issue, but a deal could now be possible on lowered terms.

Marcus Rashford has no intention of returning to Manchester United when his loan spell at Barcelona expires this summer, according to The Mirror. The Blaugrana have an option to permanently sign him for €30 million, and the 28-year-old wants his future sorted before the 2026 World Cup begins. United interim head coach Michael Carrick would try to persuade the Red Devils academy graduate to stay if he becomes the permanent head coach, but Rashford has already told Barca that he wants to stay at Camp Nou and would find another club instead of returning to Old Trafford if an agreement isn’t reached.

Juventus will make a move to sign Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer after the striker stayed on loan at Tottenham Hotspur this January, as reported by Calciomercato. Juve tried until the very end of the transfer window to bring back the 27-year-old, who also wanted a return to the Serie A giants, but Spurs insisted on keeping the France international as they couldn’t find an affordable alternative. It will take at least €50 million to sign him permanently, but Juve will need to seal a departure for Loïs Openda to meet that figure.
