Tottenham Hotspur are finalising a deal to land Slavia Prague goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky and the amount Spurs will be paying has emerged.

With Guglielmo Vicario out of action injured and Fraser Forster currently filling in between the sticks, Spurs have been on the hunt for a new shot-stopper.

The club did look at a move for Sam Johnstone, who has fallen out of favour at Wolves, but have ultimately decided to do their shopping elsewhere.

The Premier League side are moving for Slavia Prague custodian Kinsky and the deal ‘is being finalised’, according to Italian journalist Luca Bendoni.

Spurs are in the process of putting the finishing touches to a swoop for the 21-year-old goalkeeper.

Slavia Prague will be banking a deal worth €15m plus add-ons, while there will also be a sell-on clause included in the agreement to take the player to north London.

Kinsky is a highly rated shot-stopper and has been capped by the Czech Republic up to Under-21 level.

It is unclear if Ange Postecoglou sees him as someone who can come straight into the team or whether he will stick with Forster for now.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou has admitted that he has no time frame in his mind for when Yang Min-hyeok will be ready to play and added that Heung-Min Son will be big help in the Korean settling.

In the summer, Tottenham Hotspur agreed to a deal with Gangwon FC for Yang and decided that the winger has officially joined this month.

The 18-year-old talented winger is highly rated at Tottenham and yet to make his debut for the club.

Postecoglou pointed out that Yang needs time to settle in with the level of Premier League football coming from a different country and stated that he has no clear time frame in his mind for when the player will be ready to play.

The Tottenham boss also added that having Son in the squad is a big help for Yang to settle into his new environment.

When asked about a timeframe for Yang’s availability, Postecoglou said at a press conference: “No real plan or timeline.

“Let him settle.

“He’s still very young and he’s coming from the other side of the world where the level is nowhere near what he’ll face here.

“He’s got Sonny here which is a big help for him.”

The 18-year-old scored 12 goals while registering six assists in 38 appearances for Gangwon FC and he will be hoping to have the same impact in the Premier League for Spurs.

A huge Eight clubs are battling it out for Ipswich Town and Tottenham Hotspur target Ben Godfrey, according to The Sun.

Everton sold Godfrey to Atalanta in the summer transfer window, but the player has only featured once for the Italian outfit in the league.

The 26-year-old defender has admirers in English football, as Tottenham and Ipswich are keen to secure his signature, amid Atalanta being willing to let him go.

Ipswich are determined to keep themselves up in the Premier League and they are seeking to seal a deal for Godfrey, who has experience of playing in the top flight.

It has been suggested that the Tractor Boys are leading the race to sign Tottenham target Godfrey from Atalanta.

And it has emerged that no fewer than eight clubs are showing interest in signing Godfrey in the January window.

Tottenham, who are facing an injury crisis in their defensive department, will have to beat stiff competition to land the ex-Everton defender.

The Italian outfit Atalanta are in favour of a deal and they want to seal Godfrey’s transfer early in the window.

It is unclear just who the other clubs of the eight chasing Godfrey are.

Tottenham Hotspur’s interest in a linked goalkeeper is ‘not going any further’, despite the club looking at shot-stoppers they can bring in this month and having looked at him, according to football.london.

Spurs have received constant criticism for their up and down results which see them sitting just eleventh in the Premier League table.

Ange Postecoglou’s approach has also been questioned but injury issues have played a big part in Tottenham’s inconsistent form under the Australian.

Their defensive injuries have been very difficult to deal with and Guglielmo Vicario’s long-term injury has not helped either.

Second-choice custodian Fraser Forster has been Postecoglou’s option in Vicario’s absence, but Spurs could sign another goalkeeper this month.

Recently it was suggested that Wolves’ second-choice goalkeeper Sam Johnstone is a player who could be a potential new face at Spurs.

Those links now, however, have been played down as it has been suggested that Spurs will not go ahead with their interest in the Wolves man.

Now it remains to be seen where the north Londoners will lay their eyes on as they are expected to bring in a goalkeeper this month.

Tottenham Hotspur are looking at a Premier League shot-stopper to bring in during the window as they grapple with injury issues, according to talkSPORT.

Spurs are having a season below expectations, with the pressure on Ange Postecoglou, but the club understanding the injury problems he faces.

Alongside injuries to defenders, first-choice custodian Guglielmo Vicario is also sidelined for a significant period and second-choice Fraser Forster has been pushed in between the sticks.

Postecoglou has previously admitted that Spurs will be looking to bring players this month and bringing in a new shot-stopper is on their agenda.

It has been suggested that Wolves goalkeeper Sam Johnstone is the player Spurs are seeing as an option to bring in this month.

Wolves paid £10m to Crystal Palace in the summer to bring the English shot-stopper but Jose Sa is above him at this moment.

It has also been suggested that Wolves, who have been struggling this season, would consider offers for the 31-year-old.

Leyton Orient boss Richie Wellens has hailed Tottenham Hotspur loan star Jamie Donley and insisted that the Spurs star has made him proud.

The 19-year-old attacking midfielder came through the youth system of the north London club and he is considered a top prospect for the future.

In the summer, he was sent on his first loan away from Spurs and League One side Leyton Orient secured him for this season.

Wellens admitted that he threw challenges at the Spurs man to help him show his resilience, having previously admitted that Donley is now growing as a man.

The England Under-19 international has featured 22 times already and the Os boss admitted that Donley has passed his questions with flying colours.

“Donley, I have to say, I take my hat off to him, I am so proud of him, the way he has come through”, the Leyton Orient boss told his club’s media about the Tottenham loan star.

“The difficult time and I questioned him and I put it on him to show some resilience and he has come through that with flying colours.

“So, the fact that I can get him and [Ethan] Galbraith in the team, is a massive help for us.”

He has directly contributed to four goals in this campaign and it remains to be seen if Donley will be able to perform with consistency under Wellens for the rest of his loan stay.

Jamie Donley and Josh Keeley, Tottenham Hotspur’s two loan stars at Leyton Orient, have started to attract interest from clubs higher up the English league pyramid, according to football.london.

The duo have been key for Richie Wellens’ team this season having managed 27 appearances between them for the O’s.

While Donley has made four goal contributions as an attacking midfielder in a total of 15 appearances, Keeley has been able to keep nine clean sheets in his 12 outings between the sticks.

Their performances have not gone unnoticed with clubs from higher up the league system showing interest in acquiring their services.

However, for any of the interested clubs to have chances of striking deals, their season-long loan spells have to be cut short.

As both players have already settled into the Leyton Orient set-up, Tottenham will also have to ponder whether they really want to disturb that rhythm to give them other clubs.

There is also a requirement for a backup goalkeeper at Tottenham with the injury to current number one Guglielmo Vicario.

Whether Keeley is considered to step in by Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou remains to be seen.

Tottenham Hotspur’s teenage midfielder Tyrese Hall is expected to head out on loan in the January transfer window if the right kind of destination can be found, according to football.london.

Hall has been a regular for Tottenham’s Under-18 and Under-21 squads but is yet to make his senior bow for the north London side.

He was named on the bench for Tottenham’s penultimate match of last season against Manchester City but remained unused.

This season, the Under-21 side have benefitted from his presence in front of goal, with five-goal contributions coming from his feet.

Now Hall’s club want to test his quality at senior level and have made plans to send him out on loan.

However, a move is expected to happen only later in the transfer window if a destination which is the right fit for him is found.

Interest has been shown in the teenager from Championship, League One and League Two sides.

Hall has a long-term contract at Tottenham and the club will hope to see him make a success of any loan move he makes.

Leyton Orient boss Richie Wellens has revealed that he wants in-form Tottenham Hotspur loanee Josh Keeley to stay professional and keep his feet on the ground.

The Irish Under-21 international joined the north Londoners two years ago and currently, he is on loan at League One side Leyton Orient for the rest of the season.

The stint is his second loan spell away from Spurs and Keeley has featured 15 times for the Os this term already, keeping nine clean sheets.

The Leyton Orient boss has been impressed with the young Spurs goalkeeper and he wants him to keep his good form up.

Wellens also made it clear that he does not want Keeley to take too many risks and he advised him to stay professional.

“I have realised that he cannot play a diag [diagonal ball]”, Wellens told Leyton Orient’s media when he was asked about a particular event involving Keeley in the 2-0 victory against Cambridge United.

“No, I do not have a problem with the way that he took it down and brought it out a little bit.

“I would like him just to play down the near side, which if you give it [the ball] away, gives him time to recover

“But I do not want to get him too high because he is playing really well at this moment.

“I just want him to stay focused, stay professional and keep on this form he is on.”

Leyton Orient sit in tenth spot in League One after a good run of form and are now just six points off a playoff spot.
