Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur target Rafael Leao’s entourage are set to hold talks with Galatasaray ‘very soon’, with the Turkish champions keen on signing the AC Milan star.

The 27-year-old is expected to move on from the San Siro this summer, while the Rossoneri are unlikely to stand in his way should the right proposal arrive.

The Portugal international has also opted to part ways with his long-time representative as he prepares for what could be a defining move in his career, further fuelling speculation over his future.

Spurs have been keeping a close watch on the winger’s situation and were encouraged by suggestions that Leao would be intrigued by the opportunity to work under Roberto De Zerbi.

Aston Villa have also entered the picture, with the Midlands outfit identifying Leao as a potential attacking addition as Morgan Rogers edges closer to a big-money move to Chelsea.

The anticipated windfall would hand Unai Emery’s side greater spending power should Aston Villa decide to step up their pursuit of the Portugal international.

There are also positive signals from the player’s camp, with indications that Leao would not dismiss the prospect of a move to Villa Park this summer.

However, the race for the Portuguese is no longer centred solely around the Premier League, with Galatasaray also ‘interested’ in a potential deal.

According to Italian journalist Luca Cerchione, Galatasaray and Leao’s entourage are expected to hold talks ‘very soon’ as the Yellow-Reds look to accelerate negotiations.

The Cimbom already have a proposal worth €8m net per season plus bonuses ‘on the table’ for the Portugal international in an attempt to persuade him to join.

Whether Leao is prepared to swap one of Europe’s top five leagues for Turkish football at this stage of his career remains unclear, with the winger still expected to weigh up any opportunities that emerge from the Premier League.

Galatasaray’s aggressive pursuit could nevertheless force the hand of both Aston Villa and Tottenham, who may need to step up their interest if they are serious about securing Leao’s signature before the Turkish champions gain the upper hand.

Manor Solomon remains a complicated deal for Fiorentina to do, but Tottenham Hotspur are ‘expected to lower their asking price’ for the attacker.

Solomon has returned to the north London club following an underwhelming season on loan in Spain and Italy.

He played only eleven games in the first half of the term for La Liga side Villarreal, while featuring 19 times for Serie A side Fiorentina in the latter half of the campaign.

Solomon’s stint at Fiorentina was mixed, but he did make an impression on occasion and gave La Viola a real headache over keeping him.

It was suggested he was doing everything to get Fiorentina to keep him, but the €10m option to buy has been considered too high by the Italians.

Ex-Spurs deal-maker Fabio Paratici is pulling the strings at La Viola and has been looking to secure a discount for the Israel international.

Solomon’s current deal does not expire for two more years in N17 and he looks set for limited game time if he remains at the club.

The 26-year-old wide attacker is expected to leave the club this summer, but his asking price of €10m has been a sticking point for any potential deal.

However, that could change now, as according to Italian outlet Firenze Viola, Spurs are expected to lower their asking price for Solomon at some point this summer.

How far down from the €10m mark Tottenham are willing to go is unclear at this point.

And while Fiorentina want to bring him back, the deal is currently considered to be complicated, in part due to the price.

The Tuscany club have other options they are considering and Solomon remains one of them for the Italian club.

Spurs are currently trying to sign Manchester City winger Savinho, for whom they have made an offer as well.

La Viola have spent handsomely so far this summer and it remains to be seen whether Solomon will be a Fiorentina player by the end of the window.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dejan Kulusevski has been ‘offered’ to Fiorentina through an intermediary ahead of the new season, with La Viola now evaluating the conditions of a potential deal.

The 45-cap Sweden international did not feature for a single minute last season after suffering a serious knee injury in May of last year.

The Swede was unable to recover in time for the World Cup despite head coach Graham Potter expressing optimism earlier this year that he could still make the squad.

Sweden’s national team doctor admitted in May that the Tottenham forward’s injury had proved particularly difficult to manage, although he also insisted there remained ‘high hopes’ of seeing him return to action.

Tottenham begin their pre-season schedule this week with a friendly against MK Dons and, although Kulusevski has resumed training on the grass, he is unlikely to feature in Roberto De Zerbi’s matchday squad.

Fresh developments, however, have now cast doubt over whether his long-term future still lies in N17.

According to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla, the 26-year-old has been ‘offered’ to Fiorentina through an intermediary.

The Florence-based club are considering the Tottenham attacker alongside several alternative targets and are carefully assessing every aspect of a potential deal, particularly given he is only just returning from a lengthy injury layoff.

Kulusevski has two years remaining on his contract and, before his setback, was a key figure in the squad, making 50 appearances in all competitions during the 2024/25 campaign as Spurs lifted the Europa League.

He finished that season with an impressive return of ten goals and eleven assists under former manager Ange Postecoglou.

Tottenham, however, are now undergoing a major rebuild under De Zerbi, with midfield and defence already strengthened while attention is beginning to shift towards reinforcing the attack.

The north London club have held initial talks with Manchester City over Savinho, while AC Milan star Rafael Leao, who appears increasingly likely to leave San Siro, is also being monitored.

Richarlison, meanwhile, has emerged as a target for Juventus should they fail to secure their preferred option, former Spurs loanee Randal Kolo Muani.

Inter Milan have had their ‘first official contact; with Djed Spence’s agents as they look to ‘gauge the player’s willingness’ to join this summer, which they feel could cause Tottenham Hotspur to lower their price tag.

The versatile full-back impressed in the recently ended World Cup for England, playing in every game for the Three Lions.

The right-footed defender is comfortable playing on either side, but he is preferred as a left-back for club and country.

His performances in the World Cup caught the attention of Italian side Inter Milan, who are keen on a new wing-back after the departure of Denzel Dumfries.

Marco Palestra was Inter Milan’s top choice to strengthen the right wing-back role, but Premier League side Chelsea snapped him up from Atalanta.

Union SG’s Anan Khalaili looked set to make a move to the San Siro, but medical issues saw the switch fall apart.

After missing out on their top two targets, Tottenham’s Spence is the player Inter Milan want to bring in, though reaching an agreement with Spurs for Spence will be difficult.

The north Londoners value the 25-year-old England defender very highly, but that is not stopping the Serie A champions.

The Italian giants are pressing ahead with efforts to see whether Spence can be taken to Italy in this summer’s transfer window.

And, according to Italian journalist Luca Cerchione, the ‘first official contact’ between Inter Milan and Spence’s agents has now taken place.

With Tottenham suggested to be looking for a minimum of €40m to talk about a sale, Inter Milan are looking to see how keen Spence is to join them as they feel that may help them push his price down.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Djed Spence ‘would be thrilled’ to move back to Serie A with Inter Milan, but Roberto De Zerbi now does not want to let go of the full-back easily.

Spence arrived at Tottenham in July 2022 from Middlesbrough, signing a five-year contract with the north London club.

The 25-year-old had an impressive World Cup, becoming one of the standout performers for England under Thomas Tuchel.

Italian giants Inter Milan have emerged as admirers of the Englishman after their move for Anan Khalaili collapsed following a failed medical.

However, the Lilywhites’ valuation of Spence has become a difficult obstacle for the Nerazzurri in signing him.

Inter Milan value the full-back at between €25m and €30m, while Tottenham are seeking a considerably higher fee.

The Nerazzurri have not given up on the idea of being able to bring Spence back to Italy; he had a loan spell with Genoa earlier in his career.

According to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport (via FcInterNews), Spence ‘would be thrilled’ to head back to Serie A with Inter Milan, indicating that the main issue to resolve would be convincing Tottenham.

Following Spence’s fine displays for England, De Zerbi is now firmly opposed to letting the full-back leave unless an irresistible offer is made by Inter Milan.

Whether the Nerazzurri can put such a proposal in front of the north London side is unclear, with €40m considered to be a minimum sum to tempt Tottenham.

The Italian giants are considering a number of alternatives, including veteran performer Ivan Perisic, who is suggested to have offered himself to Inter Milan on several occasions and can move from PSV Eindhoven this summer.

Perisic, who had a stint at Tottenham between 2022 and 2024, was on the books at Inter Milan between 2015 and 2022, where he won Serie A and the Coppa Italia.
