Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a surprise move for the Manchester City midfielder Jack Grealish.

The 29-year-old has struggled for game time at Manchester City this season and he has been linked with a move away from the club. According to football transfers, Tottenham director Johan Lange has held talks regarding a potential move for the England international.

He has been linked with a return to Aston Villa as well.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham decide to make a move for him in the coming weeks. The 29-year-old could be a quality player for them if he manages to regain his confidence and sharpness. However, Tottenham already have players like James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski, and Son Heung-min, who are capable of operating in a role similar to that of him. Jack Grealish might struggle for regular game time at the North London club as well.

The 29-year-old needs to join a club where he will play regularly. He is at the peak of his powers and regular football could bring out the best in him once again. He was highly rated in the Premier League during his time at Aston Villa. However, he has not managed to reach that level in recent seasons.

Man City must accept a substantial loss

Manchester City paid around £100 million to sign the player from Aston Villa and it will be interesting to see if they are prepared to sanction his departure in the coming months. Spurs will not want to pay a premium for him, and the Premier League champions might have to cut their losses on the player and sanction his departure for a knockdown price.

Johan Lange was the director at Aston Villa when Grealish joined Manchester City and it remains to be seen whether he can play a crucial role in bringing the player to Tottenham now. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Sergio Reguilon wants to leave the club in January so that he can play regular first-team football once again.

The 27-year-old defender has not been included in the Premier League or Europa League matchday squads at Tottenham Hotspur this season, and he plans to terminate his contract with the club in January, sources have informed CaughtOffside.

Reguilon is looking for a new challenge where he can gain more playing time and regain his peak form.

Sevilla, where Reguilon previously spent a successful loan spell, want to bring him back to La Liga. The club value his experience and see him as an important addition to their defence as they aim to strengthen their squad for the second half of the season.

Getafe are also interested in acquiring Reguilon on a free transfer. Both clubs are ready to start negotiations with Tottenham and Reguilon’s representatives. Returning to La Liga could be ideal for the defender. He knows the league well and he might be able to settle in quickly and impress with his performances.

Tottenham ready to let Sergio Reguilon leave

Tottenham support Reguilon’s decision to leave because his departure will help the club reduce its wage budget. Savings on their substantial weekly wages will provide financial flexibility for possible new signings or contract renewals for other important players.

Tottenham have adequate depth in the left-back department and they will not be able to provide the Spaniard with ample opportunities. It would be ideal for the two parties to go their separate ways. Destiny Udogie and Ben Davies are ahead of Reguilon in the pecking order and the North London club will be keen to get rid of the player in January.

The 27-year-old has plenty of time to get his career back on track and establish himself as an important player for Sevilla or Getafe.

Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the Arsenal-owned goalkeeper Karl Hein at the end of the season.

The 22-year-old Estonian goalkeeper is currently on loan at La Liga club Real Valladolid. He has shown his quality for club and country, and there is no doubt that he would be a quality addition to the Tottenham squad. He has been linked with Chelsea as well.

Fraser Forster will be out of contract next summer, and Tottenham need to bring in a reliable backup option to Guglielmo Vicario and Hein would certainly be a quality long-term addition.

According to Football Insider, the 22-year-old goalkeeper will be a free agent in 2025, and he will be able to negotiate pre-contract agreements with foreign clubs in January. However, Tottenham will have to wait until the summer in order to sign him. It will be interesting to see if they can convince him to join the club on a free transfer. It would be a major bargain if Tottenham can get the deal done.

The North London club will need to improve their squad if they want to do well across multiple competitions and fight for major trophies. Having a quality backup goalkeeper could prove to be a wise decision.

Meanwhile, the report claims that the goalkeeper could be tempted to join Tottenham if the opportunity presents itself. It remains to be seen whether Tottenham can provide him with ample gametime assurances. The 22-year-old needs to play more often at this stage of his career. Sitting on the bench at Tottenham will not benefit him.

That said, it is evident that he does not have a future at Arsenal and it would be ideal for him to move on. It is highly unlikely that there will be a contract extension any time soon. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can secure an agreement with the player in the coming months.

Description

Tottenham Hotspur are keeping tabs on the highly-rated Midtjylland winger Dario Osorio.

However, they are unlikely to make a move for him in January. It seems that they are looking at the player as a summer target, as per GMS.

Tottenham could certainly use more quality and depth in the wide areas and the 20-year-old would be a superb addition. with Dejan Kulusevski moving into a central role, Spurs need another option on the flanks.

He is highly rated across Europe and he has a bright future ahead of himself. Tottenham are scouting him regularly ahead of the potential move and it remains to be seen if Tottenham can secure an agreement for him.

According to reports, Liverpool are seriously considering a move for the Chile international as well. In addition to that, Manchester United are admirers of the player as well. It will be interesting to see which of the three English clubs manage to get the deal done.

The 20-year-old is a future prospect who is likely to improve with coaching and experience. He could develop into a key player for all three clubs.

Liverpool and Man United keen on Dario Osorio

Liverpool could certainly use more depth in the wide areas, especially if Mohamed Salah leaves the club in the summer of 2025 when his contract expires. As for Manchester United, players like Antony have been largely underwhelming, and the Red Devils need to bring in an upgrade.

It will be interesting to see where the 20-year-old winger ends up eventually. He is unlikely to cost an absurd amount of money and it is fair to assume that all three Premier League clubs have the resources to get the deal across the line.

The 20-year-old needs to join a club where he will get regular game time at the opportunity to push for trophies.

Leeds summer signing could already be facing January exit

Since signing on loan from Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur last summer, Manor Solomon has had a negligible impact at Leeds United, and that’s seen calls for his loan to be terminated.

The left winger hasn’t scored for two seasons (transfermarkt) and he hasn’t really shown his best for the all whites so far.

A hamstring injury could be partly to blame, but when he’s been handed the chance to impress by Daniel Farke, he hasn’t been able to do so.

Leeds urged to bin Manor Solomon

His performances have even seen pundits suggesting that he should be sent packing back to Spurs.

“You wonder with Solomon whether he’s going to be able to get that time, and then you question do you keep him? Or do you send him back?” Jonny Buchan said on the BBC’s Don’t Go To Bed Just Yet podcast.

“Then use that spot, I’m not saying they’re on the limit of their loans, they’re not, but do you use that pot that you’ve used money-wise to get someone else who can maybe have a bigger impact?”

With so many games to play in the Championship, there’s an argument that Solomon will still be needed in order to pad out Farke’s squad when required.

With well over half the season still to be played, no one knows how injuries could affect the all whites, particularly towards the business end.

Solomon does have the talent to make a difference, and that Premier League experience could be vital at some point.

Farke doesn’t seem to be the type of manager that has a knee jerk reaction to certain situations, and to that end it wouldn’t be a surprise if he were to keep faith with Solomon until after the January transfer window closes.

AC Milan eye Dejan Kulusevski as Ibrahimovic pushes for Swedish star’s move

Tottenham star Dejan Kulusevski has reportedly attracted interest from AC Milan, with Milan’s advisor and Swedish legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic leading the push for his compatriot’s move to Italy.

According to Juve Live, Ibrahimovic is keen to see Kulusevski don Milan’s iconic red and black, as the club prepares for a future without Rafael Leao, who remains a target for several European giants.

Milan are reportedly ready to prepare an opening bid of around €50 million for the 24-year-old midfielder, signaling their serious interest in acquiring Tottenham’s creative playmaker.

Dejan Kulusevski: A standout signing for Tottenham

Kulusevski initially joined Spurs in 2022 on loan from Juventus, costing Tottenham €10 million. His impressive form convinced Spurs to secure his services permanently in 2023 for £25 million, and since then, he has cemented himself as a pivotal player in Tottenham’s attacking lineup.

During his initial half-season, Kulusevski made an immediate impact, registering five goals and eight assists in just 18 league matches.

While injuries hampered his second season, he has found a renewed rhythm under manager Ange Postecoglou this year, thriving in a new advanced midfield role. Despite only two goals and one assist in his first nine appearances this season, Kulusevski’s underlying statistics reveal his substantial creative contributions, with standout metrics in shot-creating actions, key passes, and progressive carries.

Kulusevski’s influence on Tottenham’s game cannot be overstated. Since his arrival, he has tallied 17 goals and 21 assists in 109 appearances, with this season seeing him rank sixth in the league for shot-creating actions per 90 minutes, fourth in key passes, and ninth in both passes into the penalty area and progressive carries. (Fbref)

His influence goes beyond the pitch, with him playing a key role in settling and mentoring youngsters like Luke Bergvall.

Losing a player of his calibre would be a significant setback for Tottenham, especially as they continue to push for a strong finish in both the Premier League and Europe this season.

This is not the first time, he is being linked with a move away from Spurs. He was linked with a reunion with Antonio Conte at Napoli over the summer as well, however, the player came out and dismissed those links.

Although Milan’s interest is clear, Kulusevski’s current contract with Tottenham runs until 2028. Spurs are unlikely to entertain offers without a substantial fee that reflects his integral role in the squad and his potential for further growth under Postecoglou.

Oliver Glasner urged to drop Eddie Nketiah against Tottenham

Crystal Palace have had a disappointing start to the season and they are 18th in the league table right now.

The Eagles have failed to pick up a single win in the Premier League this season and they will be desperate to bounce back when they take on Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend.

Popular pundit Paul Merson has now urged Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner to drop Eddie Nketiah, who joined earlier this summer for the game against Tottenham and let Jean-Philippe Mateta lead the line for the home team.

Merson believes that Mateta’s physicality could prove to be a game-changer against the North London club and it could help Crystal Palace in the attack.

He wrote on Sportskeeda: “Palace are a tough team to face away from home. Oliver Glasner has to go with Eddie Nketiah and Jean-Philippe Mateta together at the top and try to get the win in this game. Mateta is a bigger unit and can cause problems to most teams, he’s a real handful and I’d even play him ahead of Nketiah if I’m being honest.”

There is no doubt that the Eagles have a talented squad at their disposal, but Glasner has not been able to get the best out of them. Palace showed great improvement under him towards the end of last season, but they have not been able to build on this season. It will be interesting to see if they can bounce back strongly.

A positive result against Tottenham could give them the confidence boost they need right now and it could help them get their season back on track. There is no doubt that they are a quality team and they should be pushing for a top-half finish.

The home fans will certainly expect a strong reaction from the players here, and it will be interesting to see if they can step up and deliver.

Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on signing the Arsenal-owned goalkeeper Karl Hein.

The 22-year-old is currently on loan at La Liga club Real Valladolid and he has impressed with his performances in Spain. According to Fichajes, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are looking to secure his signature in the coming months, and Arsenal would be willing to sell him for a fee of around €15-20 million.

Chelsea need to bring in a quality backup goalkeeper and Hein seems like the ideal understudy to Robert Sanchez. He could compete with the Spanish goalkeeper for the starting spot now and eventually replace him in the future. Sanchez has been inconsistent with his performances and he has been linked with an exit from the club.

Hein will be looking to join a club where he will get ample first-team action. He is unlikely to get those chances at Arsenal and therefore he could be attracted to the idea of leaving the North London club permanently. He will probably fancy his chances of dislodging Sanchez from the Chelsea starting lineup as well.

It will be interesting to see if Chelsea come forward with an offer to sign the player. The asking price is quite affordable for a club with their resources.

Spurs keen on Karl Hein

Meanwhile, Tottenham are keeping tabs on his development and it will be interesting to see if they can promise him ample first-team exposure. They have Guglielmo Vicario as the first-choice keeper at the club and the Italian has done quite well for them. However, he has struggled while dealing with set pieces and it remains to be seen whether he can cut out the weaknesses from his game.

Hein could be the ideal competition for the Italian. The competition for places could help both players improve.

It will be interesting to see where the Arsenal goalkeeper ends up.

Pedro Porro: Man City view Spurs star as future Kyle Walker replacement

Manchester City are looking for a long-term replacement for Kyle Walker and have reportedly identified Spurs’ Pedro Porro as a possible target.

The 25-year-old full-back was on City’s books for three years between 2019 and 2022. The Spaniard failed to make a single appearance for the club before eventually joining Sporting Lisbon in a deal worth just £7.2 million.

Signing for Spurs 12 months ago though, Porro has found himself back in the Premier League and has wasted no time in reminding City what they lost.

Arguably Ange Postecoglou’s most important player, Porro’s exciting style of play has seen him impress at both ends of the pitch. The Don Benito-born full-back has already registered 18 direct goal contributions in his first 63 games in all competitions.

Man City identify Pedro Porro as possible Kyle Walker replacement

And although the right-back is under contract with Spurs until 2028, according to a recent report from Football Insider, concerns are mounting that City are preparing a ‘big offer’ to re-sign their former defender.

Even though Spurs won’t want to lose the 25-year-old, Daniel Levy has a history of trading his best players with City… Kyle Walker is the perfect example.

Joining the Cityzens in 2017 in a deal worth £50 million, the now-34-year-old has lifted 15 major trophies, including six Premier League titles and the 2022-23 Champions League.

This season is likely to be the Englishman’s last at the Etihad though. He is out of contract in 18 months and is a top target for Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli.

Whether or not Porro follows suit and becomes the second Spurs right-back to join City remains to be seen.

However, with suggestions the Spain international is wanted by some of Europe’s biggest clubs, also including Real Madrid, Spurs fans will be wondering just how much longer the club can keep hold of the in-demand full-back.

Tottenham will not come in Timo Werner's way as January exit on the cards

Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly not stand in Timo Werner’s way if the German striker chooses to cut his loan spell short in January.

According to Kicker, the forward is unlikely to see significant playing time in the coming months due to the summer arrivals of Wilson Odobert and Dominic Solanke, pushing him further down the pecking order.

While Werner has been praised by some for his work ethic and defensive contribution, his finishing in front of goal has left many Spurs fans frustrated.

The German international, who has developed a reputation for missing clear-cut chances, has found himself the subject of criticism from both supporters and pundits alike and has even become the target of trolling both online and in person.

This season, Werner’s struggles have persisted, with missed opportunities in crucial matches against Manchester United and Ferencvaros drawing heavy criticism.

Pundit Craig Burley was particularly vocal, calling for Werner to be dropped, labelling his finishing as “atrocious.”

The report claims that the only way Werner gets a good run of games with Spurs going forward this season, is if there is a major injury crisis at the club.

Timo Werner continues to struggle in the Premier League

Werner initially joined Spurs on loan in January 2024 and showed enough potential to earn a one-year extension for the current season. However, his return of just two goals and four assists in 23 appearances has been underwhelming, leading many to question his role in the squad.

This isn’t the first time Werner has struggled in the Premier League. His first stint in English football with Chelsea, after a high-profile move from RB Leipzig in 2020, saw him score just six goals in 35 league matches during his debut season.

His second season at Stamford Bridge was even less fruitful, with only four goals in 21 appearances before he was sold back to Leipzig in 2022.

With his current trajectory at Spurs, it seems increasingly likely that his loan spell will end prematurely, with Kicker indicating that an early exit in January could be on the cards.
