Highly-rated French attacker emerges as Tottenham’s latest summer target - CaughtOffside
Description

Tottenham Hotspur will compete with Eintracht Frankfurt for the signature of Saint-Etienne forward Djylian N’Guessan.

The 17-year-old attacker is highly rated across Europe, and multiple clubs are monitoring his progress, according to FussballDaten. He has the quality to develop into a top player, and Tottenham would do well to secure his signature.

He has a contract with the French club until 2027, and they could be under pressure to sell him this summer. They will not want to lose N’Guessan on a free transfer for next year. It would make sense for them to cash in on the youngster and properly replace him.

Meanwhile, Tottenham need more quality in the attacking unit, and the 17-year-old could be a long-term investment for them. He is a dynamic attacker with the ability to consistently find the back of the net. His physicality would make him the ideal target man for Tottenham as well. It remains to be seen where he ends up.

The French under-20 international has the potential to play for big clubs in the future, and Tottenham could groom him into an important first team player. Similarly, the move to Germany would be exciting. It remains to be seen where he ends up. He should look to join a club where he will play regularly. Sitting on the bench at a big club will not benefit him.

Tottenham have had a disappointing season, and they will look to bounce back strongly next year. They need quality signings during the summer transfer window. Adding more depth to the attacking unit should be a priority for them. While the 17-year-old might not be ready to improve them immediately, he could be a long-term asset for the club.

‘Talks are ongoing’, Tottenham have ‘good chances’ of landing €30m-rated target - CaughtOffside
Description

Joao Palhinha was on loan at Tottenham Hotspur last season, and he was quite impressive for them.

The Portuguese international was a key player for the North London outfit, and Tottenham could look to him permanently. According to Florian Plettenberg, the player is also a target for Sporting CP.

Talks are currently ongoing with both clubs, and the Sky Germany reporter claims that Tottenham have a good chance of getting the deal done. They have the option to sign the player for around €30 million, including bonuses, while Tottenham wants to sign him for a more reasonable amount.

It remains to be seen whether they can convince Bayern Munich to lower their demands.

Plettenberg wrote on X: “Joao Palhinha wants to make a decision on his future soon. The two concrete options are currently Tottenham and Sporting CP. Talks are ongoing. Tottenham currently have good chances. However and as revealed, Spurs want to renegotiate with FC Bayern. The option to buy was set at €25m guaranteed, with potential add-ons that could raise the fee to up to €30m. Tottenham want to pay less.”

The Portuguese International does not have a future at the German club and will look to leave permanently. Joining Tottenham would be ideal for him. He enjoyed his football with them last season, and he will look to sort out the move and focus on his football once again.

Regular football in the Premier League would be ideal for him at this stage of his career.

Meanwhile, his former club Sporting CP is monitoring the situation as well. It will be interesting to see if they are prepared to accept the demands of the German champions.

Bayern will look to sell the player and recoup as much as possible from his departure. It will be interesting to see where he ends up.

Palhinha has the quality and the experience to play for top teams, and he could be an asset for both clubs next season.

Manager’s stance revealed as Liverpool want to sign star with “blistering pace” - CaughtOffside
Description

Mick Brown revealed: “Everybody knows what he brings to the team, he’s got blistering pace, which means he can recover and make these last-ditch challenges, and that can be so important.

“That’s why there’s a lot of interest in him; there’s been talk about Liverpool and others, so he could be tempted to move on.

“From Tottenham’s point of view, with De Zerbi coming in, there will be some hope that they can convince him to stay.

“The new manager wants to build around him; he wants him to be part of his team and the project he’s putting in place.

“He can work with him to iron out some of the issues in his game, if he can contain that pace for the right moments and not go marauding up the pitch, for example.

“He will hope to have the chance to do that, so that means blocking any possible exit for now, and trying to convince him that staying could still be an option.

“It may be difficult, and we’ll see where it goes, but from a Spurs point of view, they are going to be very reluctant to lose him.”

Fabrizio Romano says Tottenham set to “announce” new signing & another can be done “quite soon” - CaughtOffside
Description

Tottenham reportedly still look to be in a strong position to clinch the transfer of Manchester City forward Savinho.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Brazilian was keen on joining Spurs a year ago, and it remains a deal to watch for this summer.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano made it clear that he felt Savinho to Tottenham was a transfer we could see done “quite soon”, while he also confirmed that the free transfer of Marcos Senesi from Bournemouth also looks set to be announced.

Fabrizio Romano’s big Tottenham transfer update – Senesi and Savinho

Discussing some exciting Tottenham transfer news in his latest YouTube post, Romano said: “Savinho was ready to go to Tottenham one year ago. Then if Man City tell you you have to stay, Pep Guardiola is trusting you, obviously Savinho was more than happy to stay and to continue and to sign a new contract as he did in September.

“But Savinho was attracted by Tottenham one year ago and Savinho is again attracted by Tottenham today. So on player side, I don’t see big issues. I think Savinho Tottenham on player side can get done quite soon.

“Now it’s so Manchester City and Tottenham negotiating, discussing, talking about the transfer fee. So let’s be patient. Let’s see what happens there. But Tottenham are on it. Tottenham are working on the Savino deal.

He added: “Tottenham today announced Andy Robertson. Soon Tottenham will announce also Marco Senesi as a new centre-back joining from Bournemouth. So Tottenham very busy to give Roberto De Zerbi what he wants.”

Tottenham need a good summer

THFC look to be making a strong start to the summer, and that’s absolutely essential if they are to improve after back-to-back 17th place finishes in the Premier League.

The north London outfit only narrowly escaped relegation on the final day of the season, so if they can bring in the likes of Savinho and Senesi to follow the arrival of Robertson then they should be in a stronger position.

It’s early days yet, but Spurs seem to have started the summer with real intent, so fans will hope this can lead the team to challenge for the top four again instead of scrapping at the other end of the table.

Surprise decision means £86m-rated Liverpool & Chelsea transfer target could be available this summer - CaughtOffside
Description

Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi reportedly looks ready to push Luka Vuskovic towards the exit door in a surprise transfer decision for this summer.

Vuskovic has looked hugely impressive during a loan spell with Hamburg, but it seems the talented young Croatian is not in De Zerbi’s plans.

That’s according to Football Insider, who point out that they have recently linked Vuskovic as a target for Liverpool.

We have also previously been made aware of interest from Liverpool and Chelsea, while Vuskovic could command a transfer fee of around £86m.

Surprisingly, it seems that De Zerbi is prepared to let Vuskovic go this summer, with Football Insider noting that Spurs are pursuing more experienced defenders in the form of Marcos Senesi and Jan-Paul van Hecke.

What next for Luka Vuskovic?

Vuskovic looks like one of the most exciting young defenders in Europe right now, so it’s a bit puzzling that Tottenham don’t seem to be planning to use him.

The 19-year-old could be a superb addition to De Zerbi’s squad to help them improve next season, and one imagines he could also do a job for big clubs like Liverpool and Chelsea.

Quite why Spurs would be willing to let this talent go, especially when rival clubs are interested, is hard to understand.

It may be that THFC are under financial pressure to make a sale of this calibre, while perhaps Vuskovic himself is not keen to come back to the club after consecutive 17th place finishes in the Premier League.

Liverpool urgently need a top signing in defence after the departure of Ibrahima Konate, while Virgil van Dijk is also starting to show his age.

Chelsea, meanwhile, would also surely benefit from bringing in someone better than Tosin Adarabioyo and Trevoh Chalobah, and Vuskovic is the kind of young talent they’d surely be tempted to invest in.

Transfer momentum swings towards Tottenham as £50m target wants to join them - CaughtOffside
Description

Manchester City attacker Savinho has been linked with a move away from the club during the summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old Brazilian has struggled to secure regular opportunities, and he needs to leave the Premier League club to get his career back on track. According to a report from ESPN Brasil, Tottenham is keen on signing the winger, and the player has already decided on his future.

He wants to join the north London club, and it remains to be seen whether Tottenham can get the deal done. The player is reportedly valued at around £50 million. He scored four goals last season and picked up two assists.

He was a squad player at Manchester City, and he needs to play regularly to fulfil his potential. The technically gifted attacker could be an asset for Tottenham. He can operate on either flank, and he will help create opportunities for his teammates. He can score goals as well.

Tottenham need more unpredictability going forward, and the Brazilian could add a new dimension to their attacking unit. The asking price is quite high, and it remains to be seen whether Tottenham can convince Manchester City to accept a reasonable fee.

The player is clearly intent on the move, and that could put Tottenham in a position of strength when it comes to negotiating the transfer.

The 22-year-old cannot afford to sit on the bench at Manchester City for another season. He needs regular football to fulfil his potential. Joining the London club could help him rediscover his form and confidence. Tottenham will look to bounce back after a disappointing season as well, and signing a talented young player like Savinho would be a step in the right direction.

Tottenham prepared to spend big on €50 million-rated Ligue 1 talent - CaughtOffside
Description

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing the AS Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara during the summer transfer window.

According to a report from Media Foot, the 22-year-old is a target for Aston Villa and Newcastle United as well.

Camara has done quite well in the French league, and he has the physicality and technical attributes to succeed in English football. He could prove to be an excellent acquisition for the north London club.

Tottenham need more physicality and defensive cover in the middle of the park, and they are currently one of the frontrunners to get the deal done. The report claims that Tottenham is prepared to invest a fortune in the 22-year-old midfielder.

It will be interesting to see if they can get the deal done for the Senegal International. Newcastle and Aston Villa are also monitoring his situation. Newcastle need more quality in the middle of the park, and a 22-year-old would be a superb long-term investment.

Aston Villa have secured Champions League qualification for the upcoming campaign, and they need to further improve the team so they can regularly compete with elite clubs.

The 22-year-old has the quality to improve all three clubs. Tottenham will lose Joao Palhinha, and they need to replace him properly. The Portuguese international was on loan at the London club last season, and he was outstanding for them. Camara could fill the void left by him. He will help protect the defensive unit and add physicality in the middle of the park.

Tottenham could help him improve further and fulfil his potential. Regular football in England could bring out the best in the Senegal international. The player could cost around €40-50 million this summer, and it remains to be seen which of the three clubs is prepared to pay up.

Roberto De Zerbi wants 50-goal PL attacker as Tottenham prepare statement signing - CaughtOffside
Description

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing the Liverpool attacker Cody Gakpo during the summer transfer window.

They have already signed Andrew Robertson on a free transfer after the Scottish international decided to leave Liverpool upon the expiry of his contract. It will be interesting to see if they can sign the Netherlands International as well.

Gakpo has been a useful player for Liverpool since joining the club, and he could prove to be an interesting acquisition for Tottenham. The 27-year-old can operate on either flank as well as centrally. Tottenham need more quality and depth in the attacking unit, and the versatile Liverpool attacker would be ideal for them.

He has scored 50 goals and picked up 23 assists for Liverpool since joining the club, and he has a contract with them until 2030. He could cost around €60 million, and it remains to be seen whether Tottenham is prepared to pay the asking price.

According to a report from Soccer News, Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi is hoping to convince the Netherlands attacker to join the London club. Meanwhile, clubs from Spain and Germany are monitoring his situation. Liverpool needs more quality on the flanks, and it remains to be seen whether they are prepared to sell the Netherlands attacker.

Gakpo has been underwhelming this past season, and Liverpool could use an upgrade on him. If they can find a top-quality attacker in the summer, it would be wise of them to sell the player.

Meanwhile, Gakpo could be attracted to the idea of joining the north London club, especially if they can offer him a crucial role in the starting lineup. He is at the peak of his career, and he will look to play regularly at a high-level.

The Frenchman once looked like a hugely exciting prospect during his time at Bayern Munich, and Spurs fans will no doubt have been hoping for better from him when he joined.

Still, it’s been a difficult time for everyone at Tottenham in the last couple of years, so it’s perhaps not surprising that Tel hasn’t quite looked himself.

It now seems that the 21-year-old wants out of Spurs, with Porto leading the race for his signature, but with Bournemouth also in the mix, according to journalist Joao Van Boysen on X…

Mathys Tel set for transfer away from Tottenham?

This could be a very challenging summer for Tottenham, who will be desperately keen to strengthen, but who might struggle to keep a lot of their best players.

Of course, Tel’s lack of form means he’s not necessarily someone they’ll be desperate to keep hold of, but he remains a young player who surely still has the potential to improve.

If Tel goes on to shine at a club like Bournemouth, who have done so well in recent times to help develop top young players, then THFC will likely live to regret not sticking with him this summer.

At the same time, though, after consecutive 17th place finishes, Spurs might do well to offload as many of these players as possible in order to make a fresh start next term.

Tottenham move ahead of Liverpool & Chelsea with serious offer to sign 25-year-old - CaughtOffside
Description

Tottenham Hotspur are looking to improve their defensive unit by signing Jan Paul Van Hecke from Brighton this summer.

According to a report from Voetbal International, the two clubs are currently in talks over a potential transfer, and Tottenham have submitted a serious offer for the 25-year-old.

The defender will be attracted to the idea of joining a big club, and he has also been linked with Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool. Liverpool have reportedly already spoken to his representative regarding a potential move. However, Tottenham have stolen a march on their rivals with a serious offer for the player.

His contract with Brighton expires in 2027, and they will be under pressure to sell him this summer. They will not want to lose the player for free next year.

Tottenham need more quality in the defensive unit, and they are currently in pole position to get the deal done. The Netherlands international defender has the quality to help them improve. He has shown his ability in the Premier League, and he will only improve with coaching and experience.

Cristian Romero has been linked with a move away from Tottenham, and they need to replace him properly. The Brighton defender could form a solid partnership with his compatriot Micky van de Ven at Tottenham if the move goes through.

It remains to be seen whether Tottenham can secure an agreement with Brighton in the coming days. They need to improve the team if they want to bounce back strongly after a disappointing season. They were fighting the relegation battle, and they will not want to be in a similar position next year. A quality defender will help them tighten up at the back and improve next season.
