Exclusive: Man United considering hijacking Tottenham transfer deal for “skilful” talent - CaughtOffside
Description

Manchester United are considering making a move to beat Tottenham to the free transfer of Lille midfielder Angel Gomes this summer.

Sources close to the situation have informed CaughtOffside that Gomes is attracting plenty of interest as he nears the end of his Lille contract.

The England international has shone during his time in Ligue 1 and could now return to the Premier League, where he had a spell at Man Utd as a youngster.

CaughtOffside understands that Spurs are leading the race for Gomes’ signature at the moment, with Ange Postecoglou’s side really pushing to snap him up on a free.

However, sources have also indicated that a return to United can’t be ruled out either at this stage.

List of Angel Gomes transfer suitors revealed

CaughtOffside can reveal that Gomes has four main suitors in England, as well as two from Serie A as we edge closer to the summer transfer window.

As well as Spurs and United, there is also interest from Everton and Crystal Palace, though those clubs have not yet had any contact over a deal.

Meanwhile, Napoli and Juventus could yet try to tempt the 24-year-old to Italy, though there’s also a chance of Marseille making a move to try to persuade the player to remain in France.

What could Angel Gomes offer to top clubs?

Gomes looks like he has it in him to have a big impact at the highest level, having made his England breakthrough in recent times.

Described as “skilful” by former England interim manager Lee Carsley (via Sky Sports), the former MUFC youngster has also been compared to Rodri in his style of play in midfield.

United would surely do well to bring Gomes back, but one imagines he might also be tempted to try something different after they let him go earlier in his career.

According to a report from TheBoyHotspur, Leeds are keeping tabs on the 27-year-old Brazilian, and they will have to pay €35 million in order to sign him.

The player has not been able to live up to the expectations since the move to the north London club, and it is no surprise that Tottenham are willing to sell him. They should look to cut their losses on the player and move on.

Report: Man United and Tottenham willing to offer €15 million for attacking sensation - CaughtOffside
Description

Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are keeping tabs on the Leicester City attacking sensation Jake Evans, and they could look to make a move for him in the summer.

According to a report from Fichajes, the two clubs would be willing to offer €15 million for the 16-year-old striker. He was handed his Premier League debut earlier this season, and he’s highly rated across the country. He could prove to be a solid long-term investment for the two clubs.

Will Leicester let Jake Evans leave?

It will be interesting to see if the Foxes are prepared to cash in on the player this summer. He is one of their most prized young prospects. Leicester have been relegated from the Premier League, and they might look to build around their young players for the future.

The opportunity to join Manchester United or Tottenham could be quite exciting for Evans. It would be a huge step up in his career, and he would get to play for some of the biggest clubs in the country.

Man United and Tottenham could nurture him into a star

Manchester United have done well to nurture young players over the years, and they could help the 16-year-old fulfil his tremendous potential.

Furthermore, Tottenham have shown a willingness to invest in talented young players in the recent windows. They have already brought in several young talents, and it seems that they are looking to add to the formidable pool of young prospects at the club.

€15 million seems like a reasonable amount of money for the 16-year-old. He could develop into an important first-team player for both clubs and justify the investment in future.

It will be interesting to see where he ends up. Evans needs to join a club where there is a clear plan for his development. He will need first-team opportunities, and it remains to be seen whether the two English clubs are prepared to provide him with the platform he needs.

Massive blow for Tottenham: Star player likely to miss rest of the season due to knee injury - CaughtOffside
Description

As far as the Premier League is concerned, Tottenham have nothing to play for this season.

However, when it comes to the Europa League, Spurs are fighting to win the competition.

Considering how the 1st legs of the Europa League semifinals were played, Spurs and Manchester United are widely expected to make it to the final.

Bodo/Glimt and Athletic Club cannot be written off yet though but the odds are highly in favour of both Tottenham and Man United.

The only issue for Spurs could be that they may have to play the Europa League final without one of their best players.

James Maddison suffers serious injury

Tottenham suffered a significant setback as midfielder James Maddison is expected to miss the remainder of the season due to a knee injury sustained during the Europa League semi-final first-leg victory over Bodo/Glimt.

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Maddison is likely to miss the rest of the season due to a knee injury.

The injury comes at a crucial period for Spurs, who are aiming to secure their first major trophy since 2008.

Maddison’s absence will be keenly felt as Spurs prepare for the second leg in Norway.

In addition to Maddison, Tottenham are also dealing with injuries to other key players.

Tottenham are facing several injury issues

Forward Dominic Solanke, who also missed the recent 1-1 draw against West Ham, is showing signs of improvement and may be available for the upcoming fixture but midfielder Lucas Bergvall has been ruled out for the rest of the season due to an ankle ligament injury sustained in training.

Despite these challenges, Postecoglou remains optimistic about his squad’s chance to win silverware this season.

As far as Postecoglou’s job is concerned at the club, it is reportedly uncertain at the moment with Fulham manager Marco Silva being linked with the North London club.

Exclusive: Tottenham willing to pay €30-35m for 26-G/A West Ham & Everton target - CaughtOffside
Description

Wolves, Everton, West Ham, and Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring the situation of Borussia Mönchengladbach’s striker Tim Kleindienst.

Borussia Mönchengladbach may have to sell Kleindienst if they fail to qualify for European competitions, increasing the likelihood of a transfer. Sources have informed CaughtOffside that the Premier League clubs are ready to pay €30-35 million for the German striker. This figure is considered a very reasonable investment, given the player’s current form and impressive statistics.

However, Kleindienst is not only attracting interest from Premier League clubs. Italian giants such as AC Milan and AS Roma are also closely following the player’s situation. Bayern Munich stands out as one of the teams evaluating him as a potential reinforcement for its attacking unit.

Tottenham need Tim Kleindienst

Tottenham signed Dominic Solanke at the start of the season, but he has not been able to score goals consistently. He needs more support in the attack, and the German striker could prove to be the ideal acquisition for the north London club. He is 29 and at the peak of his powers. He will look to hit the ground running in the Premier League and make an instant impact.

The player has 16 goals to his name this season, and he has picked up 10 assists along the way as well. Tottenham would do well to secure his signature. They need more quality on the side if they want to bounce back strongly. This has been a disappointing season for them, and they will be hoping to make amends next year.

Everton and West Ham keen

Similarly, Everton will lose Dominic Calvert-Lewin on a free transfer next year, and they need to replace him. Kleindienst could be an excellent option for them.

As far as West Ham are concerned, they signed Niclas Fullkrug at the start of the season, and the German has failed to live up to expectations. He has struggled with injury problems as well. The Hammers are in desperate need of a reliable finisher.

Tottenham believe they have the edge in race to sign Man City target - CaughtOffside
Description

Tottenham will be keen to have a productive summer transfer window on the back of a dreadful season in the Premier League, and one area that is likely to be addressed is on the wings. Son Heung-min has struggled this season, while on the other flank, Brennan Johnson has been inconsistent.

It could be a summer where Tottenham have to be careful with the money that they have available to spend, so low cost signings could be the order of business for some positions – especially if they are considered to be market opportunities. And that is exactly what Roony Bardghji could be.

Bardghji, who has also attracted interest from Man City, sees his FC Copenhagen contract expire in 2025, and given that he does not appear to be open to extending his stay in the Danish capital, a move in the summer seems inevitable. And his destination could be North London.

Tottenham ready to make move for Roony Bardghji

GiveMeSport have confirmed Tottenham’s interest in Bardghji, and the Europa League semi-finals are said to be confident that they can close a deal. In their eyes, they also have a significant advantage in that they believe the young winger would want to become teammates with fellow Swedish star Lucas Bergvall.

Bardghji had been considered as one of the most exciting talents in Europe not too long ago, but after suffered an ACL injury in 2024, he has been out of action for a long time. As such, it could take him a while to get up to speed, but these factors have not put off Tottenham, who will see him as good competition for the likes of Johnson and Dejan Kulusevski.

It remains to be seen where Bardghji ends up, but a move to Tottenham is certainly a possibility.

Description

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Borussia Mönchengladbach striker Tim Kleindienst.

The 29-year-old has had an impressive season with the German club, and he has 16 goals and 10 assists to his name. He could prove to be an excellent acquisition for Tottenham if they can get the deal done.

Gladbach could sell their star striker

According to SportBILD, the German outfit could be under pressure to sell the player this summer if they miss out on European qualification. Spurs will be able to secure his signature for a fee of just €28 million.

The 29-year-old striker could prove to be a bargain at that price. He has been an excellent performer for Gladbach this season, and he has the physicality and technical attributes to do well at Tottenham as well.

Tottenham could use Tim Kleindienst

Spurs need more attacking depth on the side, and the experienced striker could add a new dimension to their attack. He is likely to be attracted to the idea of joining Tottenham as well. He is at the peak of his career, and he will want to test himself in the Premier League. This could be his last opportunity to secure a big move to a top European league.

The player has the potential to justify the €28 million asking price, and it remains to be seen whether Tottenham are prepared to pay up.

They need more quality in the final third, and a reliable finisher could make a big difference for them. This has been a difficult season for them, and they will look to bounce back strongly. They will need quality players to do well. Signing a striker should be one of their priorities.

Exclusive: Liverpool preparing bid to beat Arsenal & Spurs to trophy-winning machine - CaughtOffside
Description

Liverpool are preparing to make a move for Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman this summer, though Arsenal and Tottenham are also interested.

CaughtOffside understands that Coman is considering his future at Bayern, with the France international tempted also by likely big-money offers from clubs in the Saudi Pro League.

However, three of the Premier League’s biggest clubs are also keen on Coman, with Liverpool understood to be showing the strongest interest at the moment.

The Reds are keen to pounce on Coman’s likely availability, with the 28-year-old likely to be available for a fee in the region of €40million.

Kingsley Coman’s transfer situation explained

Coman is no longer a regular starter for Bayern, though he remains a useful squad player with plenty of experience.

The Frenchman has won major trophies everywhere he’s been, including a remarkable eight Bundesliga titles during his time at the Allianz Arena.

Coman, who has two years left on his contract, also famously scored the winning goal for Bayern in the 2020 Champions League final victory over Paris Saint-Germain.

There was first interest from Saudi clubs last summer, and again in January, while Arsenal have also long been monitoring him as a potential option.

Liverpool now seem the most likely, however, to firm up their interest with a concrete proposal.

Liverpool could do well to sign Kingsley Coman amid doubts over Diogo Jota

After a quiet summer in the transfer window last year, there could be plenty of changes at Anfield now, with Diogo Jota looking like one to watch.

The Portugal international is expected to be available for the right price this summer, and is another big name on the radar of Saudi clubs.

If Jota ends up leaving, that could then pave the way for LFC to swoop for Coman, as long as the likes of Arsenal and Spurs don’t end up getting there first.

Coman could make sense as an ideal replacement for Jota due to his versatility in a number of attacking positions.

Liverpool or Arsenal would also surely be more tempting for him than Tottenham, who have had a really poor season this term.

Talks not advanced yet, but Tottenham want to get rid of outspoken star this summer - CaughtOffside
Description

Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to cash in on Richarlison at the end of the season, and Everton are hoping to bring him back to the club.

According to a report from TBR Football, Tottenham are pushing to sell him permanently, but Everton want to sign him on loan. The report claims that Tottenham will look to include an obligation to buy in the deal. However, talks are not at an advanced stage yet.

Richarlison has failed to live up to expectations since joining Tottenham. The North London outfit paid around £60 million for him, and he was expected to replace Harry Kane adequately. The Brazilian has been quite underwhelming, and he has managed just 20 goals in 84 appearances for the London club.

The Brazilian has attracted criticism due to his outspoken nature as well. He has publicly criticised the former Tottenham manager, Antonio Conte, for dropping him without good reason.

It is evident that the signing has not worked out for Tottenham. It is no surprise that they want to get rid of him. It will be interesting to see if they can recoup a substantial amount of money for the player and sign a reliable striker in the summer.

Although they signed Dominic Solanke in the summer, the English forward has not been able to score goals consistently. They need more depth in the attack. Another goal scorer would be ideal in the summer.

Everton return would be ideal for Richarlison

Meanwhile, a return to his former club could be ideal for the South American as well. He has not been a regular starter for Tottenham recently, and Everton could provide him with the platform he needs.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin will be a free agent in the summer, and Everton want the Brazilian to replace him. It will be interesting to see if the two clubs can work out a deal that benefits them both.

Richarlison has shown his quality in the Premier League in the past, and there is no doubt that he could be an important player for Everton if he manages to regain his form and confidence.

Insider claims Rashford is ‘not convinced by that move’ amid Man United exit talks

Insider claims Rashford is ‘not convinced by that move’ amid Man United exit talks - CaughtOffside
Description

Tottenham Hotspur are targeting an ambitious move to sign Marcus Rashford from Manchester United this summer, according to Football Insider.

Spurs are looking to take advantage of the situation if Rashford’s move to Aston Villa falls through, they want to bring the 27-year-old attacker to the club.

Spurs have started internal discussions about what it would take to bring Rashford to North London if his proposed move to Aston Villa collapses.

Former Manchester United and Tottenham scout Mick Brown claims that while Spurs are serious about the possibility, the deal is currently seen as highly unlikely.

“Tottenham are looking into what it would take to sign Rashford,” he told Football Insider.

“But they have to make a decision about what direction they’re going in.

“You can’t just throw a load of players in and hope it works, they need to find some stability and I don’t think that’s what Marcus would give them.

“From what I hear, he’s not convinced by that move either.

“He wants to be playing Champions League football and competing at the highest level.

“I’m also not sure he’s going to want to take a big pay cut.

“Plus, Tottenham aren’t going to pay his wages and I think that’s going to be a problem for him, because Villa won’t be paying that amount of money either.

“So it looks like it might be difficult to do, I don’t think he’ll end up at Tottenham to be honest.”

Marcus Rashford to leave Man United permanently?

One of the major stumbling blocks is Rashford’s ambition to continue playing at the highest level.

Sources close to the England international reveal he wants to feature in the Champions League, something Tottenham cannot guarantee unless they win the Europa League this season.

Additionally, Rashford’s wages at United , reportedly around £350,000 a week , present another massive obstacle.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is preparing for a busy summer, with a major focus on smart recruitment to build a squad capable of challenging consistently for Champions League qualification.

Rashford is one of the players they want but the dynamics around signing him do no support them.

The English attacker is expected to leave United permanently this summer.
