Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the Rennes winger Desire Doue this summer.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham have the 19-year-old French winger on their shortlist and it will be interesting to see if they follow up on their interest with an official proposal to sign the player.

“Also, Tottenham have Desire Doue in their shortlist alongside other targets, and so many clubs are keeping close eyes on this player because Doue could be one of the names to watch in the next few weeks.”

Doue is highly rated in Ligue 1 and he has a bright future ahead of himself. He could develop into a key player for Tottenham with the right guidance and coaching.

Tottenham need more depth in the wide areas and Doue will add pace and creativity from the flanks. He will chip in with goals as well. The 19-year-old scored four goals and picked up six assists this past season.

Doue is naturally a left-sided winger but he is versatile enough to operate on the right as well as centrally. A move to the Premier League could be an attractive option for the player and Spurs will provide him with the platform to showcase his qualities at a high level.

Desire Doue is a man in demand this summer

The €30 million-rated winger is on the radar of other European clubs as well and it will be interesting to see where he ends up. Doue will want to join a competitive side capable of pushing for trophies. It remains to be seen whether Spurs can convince him with their ambition.

If Spurs can sign him for a reasonable price this summer, he could develop into a key player for them and the transfer would look like a bargain in the long-term.

Dejan Kulusevski was not at his best last season and the North London club need more depth in the wide areas. Competition for places with help the squad improve. Doue could prove to be solid future investment.

Tottenham Hotspur continue to be linked with a move for Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace.

The 26-year-old England international has been a key player for the Eagles in the Premier League and he scored 11 goals and picked up 5 assists in all competitions last season.

He has been linked with a number of clubs and a report from Give Me Sport claims that Tottenham are a leading club in the race to sign him.

It will be interesting to see if the North London club can secure an agreement to sign the player in the coming weeks.

The attacking midfielder has a £60 million release clause in his contract and that could prove to be a major problem for Tottenham as they look to sign him. They will need to improve the other areas of their squad as well and spending £60 million on Eze might not be ideal.

The 26-year-old will be expected to compete with James Maddison for the attacking midfield role. He can operate in the wide areas as well. He will add goals and creativity to the side in the final third and his versatility will be an added bonus.

Eberechi Eze would improve Tottenham

Eberechi Eze has shown that he has the physical and technical attributes to compete at the highest level and he is good enough to play for the best teams in the country.

Tottenham have an exciting project and he will be attracted to the possibility of joining them. Spurs will be competing in the UEFA Europa League next season and they need more quality and depth in the side in order to do well across multiple competitions.

They need more cutting edge in the attack and the Crystal Palace star would be the ideal acquisition. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can negotiate a more reasonable price for the attacking midfielder in the coming weeks.

Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher has been linked with a move away from the club this summer.

The 24-year-old is yet to agree on a new contract with the Blues and talks between the two parties have stalled. The England international is a target for Tottenham Hotspur but a report from football insider claims that he is unlikely to leave Chelsea now.

Initially, it was reported that Chelsea are under financial pressure and they need to sell the midfielder in order to balance the books. However, it seems that they have now complied with the profit and sustainability regulations and they can afford to keep the midfielder at the club.

In addition to that, Gallagher is not too keen on securing an exit from his boyhood club either. The development will come as a major blow for Tottenham who were hoping to sign him.

Gallagher has established himself as a quality central midfielder in the Premier League and he could have been a superb acquisition for Tottenham. Players like Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Rodrigo Bentancur have been linked with moves away from the North London club and they will need to bring in a quality replacement.

Gallagher would have improved Tottenham

The Chelsea midfielder certainly fits the profile and he could have been the ideal fit for their style of football as well.

The hardworking midfielder would have added defensive cover, drive and creativity to the Tottenham midfield. Apart from his qualities as a player, his leadership skills would have been invaluable for Tottenham as well.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham decide to move on to other targets now.

Spurs need to add more quality and depth to their squad if they want to push for major trophies next season. They will be desperate to secure Champions League qualification as well.

Spurs are looking to strengthen their squad and are after more acquisitions following the arrival of talented teenager Archie Gray from Leeds for £40m.

Gray is Tottenham’s third summer signing following the extension of Timo Werner’s loan from RB Leipzig and the arrival of Lucas Bergvall from Swedish side Djurgardens.

Tottenham want to know Wolves’ Neto stance

Neto is likely to be a man in demand this summer, but Wolves may not be in a position where they are desperate to sell having banked £40m from West Ham for Max Kilman.

The winger is a quality player, but was hampered by injury issues last season which limited him to 24 appearances in all competitions, and he scored three goals and provided 11 assists.

The 24-year-old is unlikely to be short of suitors this summer and GIVEMESPORT have reported that Spurs have made enquiries in order to find out how difficult it would be to complete a move for the Portugal international.

Following Portugal’s elimination from Euro 2024 Neto will now have time to think about his future, and the report adds there’s a growing feeling Neto’s agent Jorge Mendes will be successful in negotiating a move away from Wolves for his client.

GIVEMESPORT add that Spurs aren’t the only club interested in Neto with Arsenal, Manchester City and Newcastle also expressing interest in the Portuguese, who Wolves value at £60m.

The reports states that Neto’s injury record is one of the main reasons as to why both Spurs and Arsenal aren’t prepared to meet the price tag and Wolves have already put plans in place to find a replacement.

Tottenham have also been strongly linked with a move for Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze, with the 26-year-old believed to have a release clause of £60m.

Spurs will certainly need to strengthen their attacking options if they are to get back into the Champions League next season, and the addition of either Neto or Eze would make a big difference.

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Nottingham Forest winger Callum Hudson-Odoi.

According to a report from Football Insider, Nottingham Forest will demand £30 million for the highly-rated winger this summer and Tottenham are tracking his situation closely.

The 23-year-old winger is reportedly happy at the City Ground and he does not wish to leave the club. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can convince him to join them.

Hudson-Odoi has had an impressive season with Nottingham Forest since joining them for a fee of just £3 million from Chelsea last summer.

The winger scored 8 goals and picked up two assists in the league last season. He could prove to be a quality acquisition for Tottenham who are in need of more quality in the final third. The 23-year-old is an expert when it comes to taking on players and beating them in one versus one situations. He will add goals to the Tottenham attack as well. His ability to slot into multiple roles in the front three will be an added bonus.

Callum Hudson-Odoi would be a quality addition

While the £30 million asking price might seem like a premium, the player certainly has the ability to transform Tottenham in the attack.

He is well settled in English football and he could make an instant impact at the North London club as well. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham follow up on their interest with an official proposal to sign the player this summer.

The winger failed to prove himself at Chelsea and he could be determined to test himself at a high level once again. Spurs could provide him with the opportunity to compete for trophies in the coming seasons and they could secure Champions League qualification in the upcoming campaign as well. The opportunity to play for them could be an exciting one for the 23-year-old winger.

Exclusive: Tottenham reject initial Milan bid for Emerson Royal

Description

It seems fairly clear that Emerson Royal doesn’t have a future under Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham Hotspur, but that hasn’t stopped the North Londoners rejecting a first approach from Italian giants AC Milan.

CaughtOffside sources with knowledge of the situation understand that the Rossoneri’s opening offer for the 25-year-old Brazilian was in the region of €14m.

Milan want Tottenham ace Emerson Royal

It’s thought that they will come back in with another, slightly higher, bid of €17m/€18m as it’s believed that the player’s wish is to sign for them.

Notwithstanding this, Milan’s Serie A competitors, Inter Milan and Juventus, are also circling and intentioned to understand the player’s salary and contract requirements.

Emerson Royal’s former club, Barcelona, are thought to be considering entering the picture if they’re unable to secure Joao Cancelo on another loan deal from Man City.

The Cityzens would apparently prefer a straight sale rather than another loan, though it’s understood Cancelo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, remains in discussions over his client’s next move.

During the 2023/24 campaign, the right-back made 24 appearances for Spurs, per WhoScored, though 11 of those were from the bench.

Significantly, he only played 90 minutes on 10 occasions, and just two of those came in this calendar year.

It’s therefore obvious why the player himself may feel that his future is elsewhere, and it’s in Tottenham’s best interests to accede to any sale.

With there potentially being just a €3m gap between the valuations that Spurs and Milan currently put on the player, there’s certainly room for negotiation and more than enough time to get a deal done in this window.

Manchester United are reportedly showing interest in re-signing Tottenham Hotspur left-back Sergio Reguilon this summer, according to Spanish outlet Diario AS.

The Red Devils are exploring the possibility of securing the services of Reguilon, who spent a brief loan spell with them last season.

Reguilon, now in the final year of his contract with Spurs, is expected to leave North London this summer.

Tottenham are keen to offload the 27-year-old defender, who does not feature in Ange Postecoglou’s plans for the upcoming season despite a shortage in the left-back position.

Destiny Udogie, who had an impressive debut season with Spurs, has established himself as the top-choice left-back. However, Tottenham are looking to bolster their defence with another left-back to add depth to the squad.

Reguilon joined Tottenham in 2020 on a five-year deal, with a reported £27.5 million buy-back clause.

His time in North London has been marred by injuries and multiple loan spells, limiting his impact. He made a total of 67 appearances for Spurs, scoring two goals and providing eight assists.

Sergio Reguilon’s loan spells and form

The Real Madrid youth academy product spent the 2022-23 season on loan at Atletico Madrid. He then briefly joined Manchester United on a six-month loan in September last year to cover for injured left-backs Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia.

During his time at United, Reguilon showed his capabilities, which has led to their renewed interest in making his move permanent.

Tottenham are ready to listen to offers for the left-back, with Manchester United emerging as a potential destination. This move would help Spurs secure funds and finalise their squad ahead of the new season.

Want away Tottenham ace linked with intriguing Dortmund switch

It’s all change at Tottenham Hotspur at the moment it seems, with Ange Postecoglou clearly keen to ensure that Spurs’ form at the back end of last season was just a blip.

For most of 2023/24, the North Londoners had been great to watch and were also getting results, however, they tailed off significantly towards the end of the campaign.

So much so that they dropped out of the Champions League places, handing Aston Villa the chance to compete in European football’s premier competition in 2024/25.

If there was any disappointment at the way in which last season finished, the manager can’t allow that to fester.

The last thing that Postecoglou needs in the dressing room is a feeling of ‘what might’ve been.’ He’s a forward thinking individual and will only want his players looking ahead rather than back.

Dortmund want Hojbjerg

Similarly, those players that haven’t really made a mark under his tutelage will be considered for sale, perhaps for no other reason than to ensure that dressing room equilibrium remains.

To that end, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg will finally be allowed to move on, and Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg goes as far as to suggest that Borussia Dortmund are keen on taking the player if they can’t land Brighton and Hove Albion’s Pascal Gross.

??? Pierre-Emile #Højbjerg is keen to leave Spurs this summer with one year left on his contract and his new agency Unique Sports Group:

It isn’t clear how much Spurs will ask for the 28-year-old, though the player himself will surely be keen to make the move, and that would arguably mean that the club might need to lower any demands in the first instance.
