Lavish Lilywhites! Three players Spurs could buy with £100m - Sports Mole
Description

Tottenham Hotspur have announced that the Lewis family have pumped £100m of capital into the club following their recent major upstairs restructuring.

The Lilywhites have undergone a period of seismic change over the past several weeks, as long-serving chairman Daniel Levy was removed from his position after 24 years at the helm last month.

Former Arsenal chief Vinai Venkatesham is now overseeing the day-to-day running of the club as their new CEO, and the 44-year-old has taken over while Spurs' players get to grips with Thomas Frank's style of management.

The ex-Brentford head coach brought in the likes of Mohammed Kudus, Xavi Simons, Joao Palhinha, Kota Takai, Kevin Danso and Mathys Tel in the summer transfer window, as Tottenham spent close to £200m on new signings.

The new-look Lilywhites have made an eye-catching start to proceedings since Frank took over, taking 14 points from the first 21 available in the 2025-26 Premier League season to sit second in the top-flight table.

Tottenham announce £100m cash injection from Lewis family

At the same time, rumours have been swirling surrounding a possible takeover at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, although Spurs have affirmed on numerous occasions that the club is not for sale.

Spurs' owners have now demonstrated their commitment to the team, as Tottenham announced on Thursday morning that ENIC had injected £100m of new capital into the club, as part of their efforts to drive "long-term sporting success".

Peter Charrington, Spurs' non-executive chairman, said: “As I stated a few weeks ago, our focus is on stability and empowering the management team to deliver on the Club’s ambitions.

"I know the Lewis family are also ambitious for the future. Today’s capital commitment reflects that ambition and I would like to thank them for their ongoing support.

"We will continue to do all we can to ensure that Vinai and his team are supported in the best way possible to take this Club forward.”

Which players could Tottenham buy with £100m cash injection?

Following the news of another £100m, Spurs supporters will inevitably get excited about the prospect of new signings ahead of the January transfer window, or indeed the summer market in 2026.

The Lilywhites are believed to have a strong interest in Bournemouth's Antoine Semenyo, who has made an exceptional start to the 2025-26 Premier League season with six goals and three assists from his first seven appearances.

Semenyo is valued at €40m (£34.7m) by Transfermarkt, although Bournemouth would almost certainly demand a much higher figure for the Ghana international given he has just signed a new contract until 2030.

Spurs are also said to have taken a liking to Middlesbrough's Hayden Hackney, who is valued at €20m (£17.4m), while £52m-rated Villarreal striker Georges Mikautadze is thought to be on the Lilywhites' radar as well.

Antoine Semenyo transfer news: Bournemouth 'braced' for interest in Tottenham Man United

Bournemouth 'braced' for Semenyo interest with valuation - Sports Mole
Description

Bournemouth are reportedly 'braced for serious interest' in star man Antoine Semenyo following his impressive start to the campaign.

The Cherries sold the key defensive trio of Dean Huijsen, Illia Zabarnyi and Milos Kerkez in the summer transfer window.Â

However, crucially, Bournemouth managed to retain Semenyo by tying their key attacker down to a new long-term contract.

The Ghana international penned fresh terms on a deal that is set to run until the summer of 2030, but that has not stopped him from being linked with a move away from the Vitality Stadium.

Semenyo set to attract signicant interest in 2026

According to talkSPORT, the Cherries acknowledge that Semenyo will receive 'serious interest' if he continues to perform for Andoni Iraola's side.Â

The report claims that Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United remain among his suitors after holding discussions with the player before he put pen to paper on his new Bournemouth deal.

Liverpool are another club in the race for Semenyo's signature, with the club's sporting director, Richard Hughes, said to be a big fan after he brought Semenyo to Bournemouth in 2023.Â

Meanwhile, a recent report claimed that Chelsea are willing to table a £78m bid in an effort to prise Semenyo away from the Vitality Stadium in 2026.Â

Bournemouth to demand signicant fee

Bournemouth will be reluctant to part ways with one of their most prized assets, but even if they listen to offers, they will at least be in a strong negotiating position due to Semenyo's contract situation.Â

As a result, the south coast side are expected to demand at least £75m to part ways with the Ghanian in 2026.Â

That figure could increase if Semenyo continues to put in impressive performances, having made an impressive start to the 2025-26 campaign.Â

Semenyo is sitting second in the Premier League scoring charts after netting six goals in seven league matches, including a match-winning brace in last Friday's 3-1 home win over Fulham.

The winger, who can play on either flank, has also contributed with three assists to help put Bournemouth in fourth position.Â

Bayern Munich transfer news: Latest on "current contract" of "comfortable" Harry Kane amid Tottenham Hotspur links

Bayern chief addresses contract of "comfortable" Kane amid - Sports Mole
Description

Bayern Munich director Christoph Freund has claimed that Harry Kane can envisage himself staying beyond his current contract despite links to Tottenham Hotspur.

The English striker has enjoyed a remarkable start to the 2025-26 season, scoring 18 goals and providing three assists in just 10 games.

Many have argued that Kane is an early frontrunner for the Ballon d'Or, and it is hard to disagree considering his exceptional form.

The Bayern man is only contracted to the club until the summer of 2027, and there have been rumours of a release clause in his deal.

Speaking to Sky Germany, Freund insisted that the forward could stay beyond his current terms, saying: "Both us and Harry Kane's side can easily imagine continuing together beyond the end of the current contract.

"Harry feels very comfortable in Munich. That's why we hope he'll stay in Munich for a few more years."

The 32-year-old has been linked with a move back to former club Tottenham Hotspur, while the likes of Manchester United have also been credited with a tentative interest.

Why Harry Kane should stay in the Bundesliga

Kane has found the adaptation to life in the Bundesliga straightforward, and he even became the quickest ever player to score 100 goals for a single club in Europe's top-five leagues, achieving the feat in 104 games.

If the Englishman stays in Germany and continues to perform at a high level, then he could write himself further into the Bavarians' history books, raising his profile as a legend of the game.

Should he decide to remain with current boss Vincent Kompany, he will likely have numerous opportunities to win the Champions League given Bayern are usually considered amongst the favourites to win the competition.

Since the Bundesliga title that the German side won last season was the first piece of silverware in Kane's career, the striker may view remaining where he is as the best way to collect as many medals as possible before calling time on his career.

Why Harry Kane should return to the Premier League

Kane is currently the Premier League's second leading scorer in history, with only Alan Shearer (260) bettering his tally of 213 goals.

Considering the Bayern man has netted at least 21 league goals in eight of the past 11 seasons, as well as at least 25 in six of his last 10 campaigns, it would not be surprising if he managed to break Shearer's record if he returned to England.

Thomas Frank has proven himself to be an excellent manager in the Premier League, and perhaps he will have Spurs in a position to challenge for major honours by the time Kane's contract expires.

Winning the Premier League with Tottenham - or any major trophy - would also help close the story on his career with the club on an emphatic note.

2 Tottenham Hotspur: Highlights, man of the match, stats as Mohammed Kudus inspires hard

Magic Mohammed Kudus inspires Frank's Spurs in hard-fought - Sports Mole
Description

Tottenham Hotspur continued their excellent start to the Premier League campaign when they earned an impressive three points in a hard-fought 2-1 victory against a strong Leeds United at Elland Road on Saturday.

The Peacocks opened the game with purpose and intent, creating a flurry of chances within the first 10 minutes that culminated in Joe Rodon hitting the post with a header following a Sean Longstaff free kick.

However, it was Thomas Frank's side that took the lead through Mathys Tel, who put his strife behind him to net his first goal of the season with a powerful, deflected strike into the top corner.

Promoted teams in the past may have crumbled one down to a top-six club, but Leeds manager Daniel Farke will be delighted that his players continued to threaten, and they were rewarded when Noah Okafor scored a deserved equaliser after Guglielmo Vicario saved a finely-worked shot from Brenden Aaronson.

The entertainment did not stop there, as Tel hit the bar just before the interval, and after a failed attack from Spurs moments after half time, the hosts forced an excellent save from Vicario.

Tottenham regained the lead thanks to Mohammed Kudus, who opened his Lilywhites account with a clever reverse finish from the edge of the box around the hour mark, and his effort was enough to secure the points despite late chances for Joel Piroe and Pascal Struijk.

SPORTS MOLE'S VERDICT

Leeds may have been beaten on Saturday, but they put in a commendable performance that should bolster fans' hopes of staying in the Premier League beyond this term.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin delivered another strong performance at centre-forward, linking play and competing for balls high up the pitch, and if he can stay fit then he will be important to his team's season.

Okafor's first-half equaliser was the Peacocks' 800th goal in the top flight, and they are sure to add to that tally as they seek to become the first promoted club to survive since 2022-23.

One of the often-repeated stats ahead of this game was the fact that Tottenham's top goalscorer this season was not one of their players, but rather own goals from their opponents, with Spurs having benefitted from four own goals in their last five games.

However, Tel and Kudus both got off the mark this season in this clash - the latter for the club in general - and Frank will be pleased to see his forwards building their confidence with important goals at the weekend.

Those strikes moved the Lilywhites up to second in the table and maintained their record of not dropping a single point once having taken the lead in a match, while also meaning that only Manchester City have scored more often in 2025-26.

LEEDS UNITED VS. TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR HIGHLIGHTS

Mathys Tel goal vs. Leeds United (23rd min, Leeds United 0-1 Tottenham Hotspur)

Rodrigo Bentancur pokes the ball to Kudus in the centre of the park, and the former Ajax man plays Tel through on the right flank.

The French forward then dribbles to the edge of the box, before rifling a powerful strike into the top-right corner, though it did take a deflection on its way past Karl Darlow.

Noah Okafor goal vs. Tottenham Hotspur (34th min, Leeds United 1-1 Tottenham Hotspur)

Jayden Bogle whips the ball in to striker Calvert-Lewin, who intelligently lays it off to Aaronson to hit first time, and while the latter's effort was saved by Vicario, a deflection on the way through meant that his stop fell to the feet of Okafor to fire into a near-empty net from close range.

Mohammed Kudus goal vs. Leeds (57th min, Leeds United 1-2 Tottenham Hotspur)

Pedro Porro plays a speculative ball down the right flank towards Kudus, and it bounces off Leeds left-back Gabriel Gudmundsson before falling to the feet of the Spurs forward.

Kudus then drives infield, dribbling across the edge for the 18-yard box before hitting a reverse strike into the bottom-right corner that gives Darlow no chance.

MAN OF THE MATCH - MOHAMMED KUDUS

The Ghana forward has sparkled in general play, especially with his dribbling, but it took until Saturday's clash to score his first goal for Tottenham.

Kudus's strike was the eventual winner, and while he also assisted Tel's opener in the first half, he impressively won the most duels in the game (10).

Man City transfer news: Savinho’s “special” reasons behind Tottenham U

Savinho's “special” reasons behind Spurs U-turn after - Sports Mole
Description

Manchester City have announced that Savinho has signed a two-year contract extension, keeping him at the Etihad Stadium until 2031.

The 21-year-old Brazil international is in his second season with the Citizens after joining from sister club Troyes for an initial £21m in the summer of 2024.

Savinho featured regularly under manager Pep Guardiola in his maiden campaign on the blue side of Manchester, chipping in with three goals and 13 assists in 48 appearances across all competitions, as well as lifting the 2024 Community Shield.

Guardiola recently claimed that Savinho has the potential to develop into a “top-class player” at Man City having already shown glimpses of his talent since arriving in England.

The skilful winger’s performances caught the attention of Tottenham Hotspur in the summer and Thomas Frank’s side were pushing to sign the youngster towards the end of the transfer window.

It was reported that Savinho was open to joining Spurs and he did not feature in any of Man City’s Premier League fixtures in August amidst uncertainty over his future, with Guardiola stating that his absence was due to injury.

Savinho “proud” to commit future to Man City as he continues to fulfil his “dream”

However, Savinho has performed a U-turn on his future at Man City, who have been determined to keep hold of the winger and informed Spurs that they have no interest in selling him in the summer.

Savinho has labelled Man City as “the best club in the world” and he has explained why committing his future to the Citizens is “special” for both himself and his family.

“First of all, I want to thank God for this new opportunity to sign another contract with Manchester City,” Savinho told the club’s official website. “I’m really happy and my family is also very happy. I feel fulfilled!Â

“My dream since I was little was always to play for Manchester City, and I managed to achieve that, and now, extending my contract here makes it even more special. I feel really proud and I hope to continue and be very happy here at Manchester City.”

Explaining what is special about Man City, the winger added: “I think everything - the manager, the players, the best club in the world, the club’s structure as well.

“Since the first day I arrived here the club has given me full support on every level - personal, family. My family is really happy here too - my daughter, my wife - so I’m very happy.”

“It’s a very special feeling to know that Pep and the club have placed such faith in me. It really means a lot to me and my family,” Savinho added.

Savinho: “I will give my best to help Man City win trophies”

Savinho believes he has developed into a better player since arriving at the Etihad and he is confident that Guardiola and his coaching staff will continue to help enhance his development.Â

“I think I’ve improved a lot,” the winger said. “In this first season, working with the staff and with Pep, I’m really happy to have developed under him.Â

“I think I’ve improved a lot tactically. Technically too - I understand the game better, I’ve learnt to read it better, to know what it asks in certain moments. Of course, I’m still very young and I have a lot to improve.”

“[Man City fans] can expect lots of joy on the pitch, goals, assists,” Savinho continued. “I will give my best to help Manchester City win trophies, which is the most important thing.Â

“I hope to put my name in the club’s history by winning trophies. So I hope to do that together with my teammates and finish the season with lots of silverware.”

Man City’s No.26 is the latest first-team star to commit his future to the club after Nico O’Reilly, who extended his contract last week, while Ruben Dias and Rico Lewis have also penned fresh terms this season.

Tottenham lineup vs. Leeds: Predicted XI for Premier League clash

Frank to consider six changes: Predicted Spurs lineup vs. - Sports Mole
Description

Tottenham Hotspur could be without up to seven players for Saturday lunchtime’s Premier League clash with Leeds United at Elland Road.

Dominic Solanke recently underwent ankle surgery and he will remain in the treatment room along with James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski, Radu Dragusin (all knee), Kota Takai (foot) and Yves Bissouma (unspecified).

Meanwhile, summer signing Randal Kolo Muani could be in contention to make his Premier League debut after making progress in his recovery from a dead leg and a late call will be made on the Frenchman’s fitness before kickoff.

Richarlison could make his 250th Premier League appearance this weekend, but considering the Brazilian played the full 90 minutes in Spurs’ 2-2 draw with Bodo/Glimt in the Champions League on Tuesday, head coach Thomas Frank may decide to begin with a refreshed Mathys Tel up front after he was ineligible for that match.

Frank will also weigh up rotating his wide options, with both Mohammed Kudus and Xavi Simons hoping to earn a recall at the expense of Brennan Johnson and Wilson Odobert, while Joao Palhinha may return in centre-midfield to partner Pape Sarr and Lucas Bergvall.

Cristian Romero was left out of the draw with Bodo/Glimt as a “precaution”, but he should be given the all-clear to start in the heart of the defence alongside Micky van de Ven, who scored in midweek, while Destiny Udogie and Pedro Porro could be handed starts as full-backs, with Djed Spence potentially making way on this occasion.

Preview: Leeds vs Spurs - prediction, team news, lineups - Sports Mole
Description

Fresh from snatching a Champions League point in Norway, Tottenham Hotspur travel to Elland Road to face Leeds United in the Premier League on Saturday lunchtime.

The two teams lock horns for the first time since May 2023 when Spurs secured a 4-1 top-flight victory away against the Whites.

Match preview

Leeds have won two, drawn two, and lost two of their opening six Premier League fixtures since securing promotion as Championship title winners last season, most recently playing out a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth on home soil last weekend.

After beating Wolves 3-1 at Molineux in their previous match, Leeds were on the cusp of collecting maximum points against the Cherries until the visitors netted a 93rd-minute equaliser. Nevertheless, the Whites have now gone a full year without suffering a home league defeat, extending their impressive unbeaten run at Elland Road to 23 games.

Head coach Daniel Farke rued the missed opportunities from his Leeds side after conceding a “heartbreaking” equaliser, but the German should be satisfied that his team have accumulated a respectable eight points in total and sit 12th in the Premier League table, four points above the relegation zone.

So far this season, only three teams have netted more set-piece goals in the Premier League than Leeds (four), but the Whites have shipped six set-piece goals themselves, with only West Ham United (eight) having conceded more.

Leeds head into Saturday’s contest having lost nine of their last 11 Premier League meetings Tottenham Hotspur (W1 D1), including each of their last four in a row which is their longest ever losing league run to Spurs. They have also failed to win any of their last 11 PL games that have kicked off before 3pm (D2 L9) since beating Chelsea 3-0 in August 2022.

Tottenham concluded the month of September without losing any of their six matches across all competitions, but they have struggled to grind out victories in recent weeks, drawing three of their last four games and conceding five goals in the process.

Spurs made light work of Bodo/Glimt over two legs in last season’s Europa League semi-finals, winning 5-1 on aggregate, but they had to come from behind twice to rescue a 2-2 draw on matchday two in the Champions League on Tuesday night, with an 89th-minute own goal enough to seal a point in Norway.

Although Tottenham were second best for much of the contest, head coach Thomas Frank was upbeat after claiming a “very good point” on the road. His team will now shift their focus back to the Premier League as they endeavour to increase their 11-point total and climb into the top three of the table.

Spurs have drawn their last two Premier League games against Brighton (2-2) and Wolves (1-1), as many as they had drawn in their previous 23 matches (W7 D2 L14), while the North Londoners last drew three consecutive league fixtures back in October/November 2016 (a run of four).

Tottenham will relish Saturday’s trip to Elland Road where they have won both of their last two Premier League visits by an aggregate score of 8-1, and they will attempt to win three times in a row at Leeds for the very first time this weekend.

Team News

Leeds winger Daniel James will be out for a few weeks after rolling his ankle in training, and Willy Gnonto (calf) is also sidelined, while Harry Gray - the brother of Spurs’ Archie Gray - is a doubt with a hip problem and will be assessed ahead of kickoff.

Goalkeeper Lucas Perri (muscle) has returned to training after missing the last three matches with a muscle injury, but Saturday’s game will come too soon for the Frenchman, so Karl Darlow will continue between the sticks.

Only three PL players have created more chances than Sean Longstaff (eight) so far this season, with the midfielder also registering the joint-most tackles along with Spurs’ Joao Palhinha (19). Longstaff is expected to continue in a three-man midfield alongside Ethan Ampadu and Anton Stach.

As for Tottenham, Dominic Solanke recently underwent ankle surgery and remains out along with James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski, Radu Dragusin (all knee), Kota Takai (foot) and Yves Bissouma (unspecified), while Randal Kolo Muani (dead leg) will be assessed before kickoff.

Richarlison will hope to make his 250th Premier League appearance this weekend, but considering the Brazilian played the full 90 minutes in midweek, Frank may decide to begin with a refreshed Mathys Tel up front after he was ineligible against Bodo/Glimt.

Cristian Romero was left out of the draw with Bodo/Glimt as a “precaution”, but he should be given the all-clear to start in the heart of the defence alongside Micky van de Ven, while Mohammed Kudus, Xavi Simons, Joao Palhinha and Destiny Udogie are all pushing to earn a recall.

Leeds United possible starting lineup:

Darlow; Bogle, Rodon, Struijk, Gudmundsson; Stach, Ampadu, Longstaff; Aaronson, Calvert-Lewin, Okafor

Tottenham Hotspur possible starting lineup:

Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Sarr, Palhinha, Bergvall; Kudus, Tel, Simons

We say: Leeds United 1-2 Tottenham Hotspur

Â

Leeds have every right to feel optimistic of success having won 18 of their last 23 league games on home soil, but they have struggled to get the better of a Tottenham outfit who have enjoyed their recent visits to Elland Road and will be regarded as favourites to pick up all three points this weekend.

Spurs will be aware that Leeds suffered a heavy 5-0 loss to their North London rivals Arsenal earlier in the campaign, and while we do not expect Frank’s men to win as emphatically, they should ultimately find a way to outscore their opponents in West Yorkshire.

Kolo Muani to make Premier League debut? Spurs injury - Sports Mole
Description

Thomas Frank will be hoping his Tottenham Hotspur side can return to winning ways when they take on newly-promoted Leeds United in the Premier League on Saturday.Â

Spurs have had to come from behind to draw each of their last two Premier League outings, recording a 2-2 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion before registering a 1-1 stalemate with Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend.Â

Tottenham have now also drawn each of their last two games across all competitions, with late equalisers against Wolves and Bodo/Glimt - when an 89th-minute Jostein Gundersen own-goal secured a 2-2 draw - leaving Spurs searching for just a second win in their last five.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Tottenham's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League meeting with Leeds United.Â

Randal Kolo Muani

Status:Â Doubt

Type of injury:Â Dead leg

Possible return date:Â October 4 (vs. Leeds United)

Paris Saint-Germain loanee Randal Kolo Muani has been missing from Tottenham's last four matchday squads due to a dead leg, but the Frenchman should be eyeing a return on Saturday.

Yves Bissouma

Status:Â Out

Type of injury:Â Unspecified

Possible return date:Â Unknown

Yves Bissouma's unspecified injury from the start of the season has proven to be more serious than initially thought, and there is no word on when the Malian midfielder might be back in contention.

Kota Takai

Status:Â Out

Type of injury:Â Foot

Possible return date:Â October 19 (vs. Aston Villa)

Kota Takai is finally in team training following a troublesome foot injury, but there is little chance of the midfielder making the matchday squad for this weekend.

Radu Dragusin

Status: Out

Type of injury:Â ACL

Possible return date:Â October 19 (vs. Aston Villa)

Radu Dragusin should soon be entering the final stages of his recovery from the ACL injury he picked up in January, and a return in the autumn is not beyond the realm of possibility.

Dejan Kulusevski

Status: Out

Type of injury:Â Knee

Possible return date:Â November 29 (vs. Fulham)

The luckless Dejan Kulusevski has been out since the end of last season with a knee problem, one that will not heal fully for another couple of months.

James Maddison

Status: Out

Type of injury:Â ACL

Possible return date:Â Unknown

James Maddison is on the extremely long road to recovery from the ACL injury he suffered in pre-season, and it is still not known whether he might be able to feature before the campaign ends.

Dominic Solanke

Status:Â Out

Type of injury:Â Ankle

Possible return date:Â November 1 (vs. Chelsea)

Dominic Solanke looked to be nearing a return from an ankle issue, but the decision to undergo a minor surgery has since been made, meaning the striker is unlikely to return until at least November.

Tottenham Hotspur must secure £27m deal in 2026 for Joao Palhinha after brilliant stat emerges

Tottenham must secure £27m deal in 2026 for midfielder - Sports Mole
Description

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Joao Palhinha has been enjoying a terrific 2025-26 season after moving to the north London club in the summer on loan from Bayern Munich.Â

The 30-year-old joined Bayern from Fulham in 2024 for £43.1m, but he failed to establish himself as a first-team regular under Vincent Kompany and gradually dropped down the pecking order at the club.Â

Palhinha grabbed the opportunity with both hands when Spurs took him on loan, and he has rediscovered his mojo after putting in some scintillating midfield displays under Thomas Frank.Â

The Portuguese international has scored two goals in his five starts in the Premier League, and the defensive midfielder has proved to be a perfect fit in Frank's system, where defensive structure is prioritised.Â

Palhinha's stats reflect his terrific revivalÂ

According to Squawka, Palhinha has made the most tackles (17) in Europe's top five leagues in September, ahead of Sevilla's Gabriel Suazo and Getafe's Abdel Abqar, both on 16.Â

In the Premier League, the former Sporting CP midfielder has made 3.8 tackles per game, and his total of 23 tackles is the highest in the Premier League ahead of Leeds United's Sean Longstaff (19).Â

At Bayern, multiple factors worked against Palhinha, with injuries being one of them, and he was like a round peg in a square hole within Kompany's system.Â

Had Palhinha moved under Ange Postecoglou, the transfer may not have worked, as he would have struggled to find his feet in his cavalier and chaotic approach. Luckily for him, Frank's system was tailor-made for him, and as a result, we are getting the best version of Palhinha once again.Â

Tottenham must sign Palhinha permanentlyÂ

Spurs have the option to sign the midfielder permanently for £27m, and they must opt for that route, especially if Palhinha continues to maintain his impressive form.

The midfielder reportedly wants to stay at the north London club, and he would be thrilled if Tottenham decide to take up the option of signing him permanently.Â

Palhinha produced arguably one of his best performances against Manchester City this season, but he also dazzled in midfield against Brighton, Doncaster and Wolverhampton Wanderers last month.Â

The Bayern-owned midfielder will definitely be required in games where Spurs need to control possession and build attacks with patience, and therefore, it is a no-brainer to pay £27m to retain his services next summer.Â
