Beginning with the fixture release date, we will learn our match schedule for the league campaign on Friday 19 June at 10am (UK). We will bring you our fixtures on tottenhamhotspur.com and the Spurs Official App so make sure you have your notifications turned on!
The season will then kick-off on the weekend of Saturday 22 August, a week later than the 2025/26 campaign.
Our final game of the season will take place on Sunday 30 May, 2027.
There will be 33 match weekends and five midweek match slots across the campaign.
There will be a slight change to the autumn international breaks with the regular September and October windows being merged into one.
Starting on 26 September, 2026, there will be a two-weekend international break which will see nations play up to four matches before returning to domestic action for 3 October.
There will then be no further international break until 14 November, which remains a sole weekend break from the domestic calendar.
The Premier League has also announced a provision that no two matches will take place within 60 hours of each other during the festive period.
The on-loan 30-year-old has contributed some big goals over the season and none more crucial than the decider in our 1-0 win over Everton on the last league game of 2025/26.
With victory guaranteeing top-flight safety, Joao broke the deadlock shortly before the break when his initial header from a corner hit the post and he reacted quickest to turn in the rebound to spark jubilant scenes amongst players, staff and fans alike at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
That took his league tally to a career-best five goals - scoring seven in all competitions - with the midfielder also delivering a typically committed display in the engine room to break up play, making the most tackles on the pitch that afternoon to end second-highest in the division across the season (110), to help protect the vital lead until the final whistle.
Joao - who scooped your Player of the Match vote for the sixth time - now needs your help to win the league's Player of the Matchweek.
He is one of seven players nominated for the award with the vote closing at midday on Wednesday 27 May.
Skipper for the last six games following Cuti Romero’s injury at Sunderland, Micky certainly played his part as we won three and drew two of the final seven matches under Roberto De Zerbi to secure our Premier League status.
Joao Palhinha’s goal did the trick on the final day at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, a game we deserved to win (20-10 on efforts at goal) to finish 17th, ahead of West Ham.
"We've suffered a lot,” reflected Micky, who played in 44 of our 52 matches this season. “Every single player on this pitch suffered a lot with the injuries we had, with players coming back and then other players are falling out again. So, we never really had the full squad.
“Personally, it was also really tough, because we kept losing game after game and I'm not going to lie, I wasn’t in the best mood at home as well with the family and with everyone because I suffered a lot about how the situation was going.
“We’ve been through a rollercoaster. At the beginning of the season, some ups, and I think after that, we just went down, down, down, and even more down. We didn't think we would even go more down. Then, since Roberto came in, I think a new positive flow came into the group and we played some better football and we got the points.
“Now we stayed up and we just need to make sure that next season is going to be a good season for us.”
The 23-year-old's incredible reflex save late on in our 1-1 draw with Leeds United on 11 May is one of 10 saves shortlisted for the seasonal award - vote for Toni here.
The Czech goalkeeper had already produced a smart stop to deny Leeds the opener in the first half and then bettered that in second-half stoppage-time to somehow tip Sean Longstaff's powerful attempt from close range onto the crossbar in the 98th minute to help secure a point.
Coming in for his first Premier League start of the campaign away to Sunderland four games prior, the young shot stopper went from strength to strength in our remaining games and produced big saves at key moments to play a vital role in our league run-in.
Voting is now open and will close tomorrow (Wednesday 27 May) at midday (UK).
Your votes will be combined with the choices of an expert panel to determine the winner, which will be announced at 2pm on Friday 29 May.
Competing in the unique competition for the first time, we will be playing alongside seven other clubs across a three-day tournament in west London, starting on Thursday 28 May to Saturday 30 May.
An event that aims to be high-energy, exciting and competitive, Brentford’s Gtech Community Stadium will play host to the first-ever edition in England’s capital – previously held in Portugal and Florida over the last 12 months.
Ahead of the start of the competition, here’s everything you need to know about our debut in the tournament…
When does it start?
The World Sevens tournament kicks off on Thursday 28 May with the group phase running until Friday (29 May) evening.
Should we reach the semi-final of the competition, that will be held on Saturday 30 May with the final also taking place on the same day.
How to watch and follow the tournament?
Supporters in the UK can still buy tickets for the event across the three days if you wish to cheer on the squad in person.
For those who can’t attend on any of the days, each match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports in the UK or DAZN Football around the world.
We’ll have a live blog throughout the tournament providing unique behind-the-scenes access and matchday coverage and you can keep up-to-date via our social channels and the official Spurs app.
Who else is participating in the tournament?
We will be joined by Chelsea, Manchester United, Aston Villa, Everton, Leicester City, London City Lionesses and West Ham United.
In our group phase, we will take on Villa, West Ham and Manchester United.
Who do we face and when?
It starts with a round-robin group stage split into two groups of four teams, with us first taking on Villa at 6pm (UK) before two games on Friday 29 May against West Ham (4pm) and Manchester United (8pm) in Group 2.
The top two clubs advance to the semi finals on Saturday 30 May with the first tie taking place on 11am followed by 12noon. A W7F champion will be crowned that same day with the final scheduled for 2.30pm.
How does the format work?
The W7F event format comprises a small-sided 7-v-7 game on a reduced natural grass pitch, 30-minute matches, and rolling substitutions.
Who is going from our squad?
Our travelling squad was announced last week and contains a mixture of first team players alongside some of our next generation in our Academy system.

Joao Palhinha’s goal proved enough to secure the win we needed against Everton and therefore finish a tough 2025/26 campaign in 17th place.
Emotions were running high both through the match and afterwards – here’s what Roberto had to say afterwards to SPURSPLAY.
Roberto, tell us the emotions that you feel right now...
“It's tough, no? Because I stay 50 days underwater. I don't know if it's the right word. Without the time, without... I try to help the players. I believe in my players at the beginning. I believe at the beginning, before I came, when I was in Brighton, I had a big consideration about Pedro Porro, van de Ven, Udogie, Bentancur, Palhinha, a lot of players. Today I'm happy because these fans, the club, the board of the club, Vinai, Johan, they deserve a day like this. Now I will be very, very strong because we have to build the new Tottenham. I don't want to change too many players because I'm lucky to work with... I'm lucky working with a lot of these players as guys, first of all, and as players, but we need to change the mood. I would like to compete. For what? I don't know, but we need to bring, I don't know how many players, but first level of players. I'm looking forward to start to work again because we suffered too much this season. Not just me, because I suffered 50 days, the players and the board, the fans, they suffered more than me, but now we can't lose time and we can't be too happy. We have to stay focused on our work and our plan because I have a clear plan.”
Fans will want to know - do you see clearly what you want to do next?
Roberto: “For sure. I think for every one of us, for you, for me, for you, today has been a great day. It will be a great memory today. I enjoyed it a lot because when I suffer, I'm able to give something more than my potential. We have to keep in our head this day because if we don't forget this day, I think we can become better in our work, in life, in the training, every day, push like... the right thing is every day we have to push like Tottenham-Everton.”
From this minute, you look forward – but just on the last seven games – the players have given everything, haven’t they?
Roberto: “We are lucky to live in football. It's not a normal thing to live as a coach in Tottenham stadium, as a player for the Tottenham fans and we have to defend this thing. How? By giving our best every day, not just the last seven games. Now we have to build what we need for the next season. We have to analyse the mistakes, injuries, attitude on the pitch, transfer market. When we finish the energy to live, to feel like this football, we go to Hyde Park with a dog, or we go shopping, Selfridges or Harrods.”
Just finally, do you have a word for the fans?
Roberto: “Fantastic. I think some newspapers spoke too much, I think, about the fans. I don't want nothing from them. I'm honest and I'm sincere - not too many times I've seen stadiums like this. Like in three (home) games, not just today - with Brighton, with Leeds and today, they were fantastic. Before the game, when we arrived with bus, I felt emotion, it will be a great memory for all my life.”
Finding ourselves two goals behind to Manchester City at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 1 February, our number 19 was at the heart of the second-half fightback by halving the deficit on 53 minutes before producing a moment of pure magic to equalise as it ended 2-2 on the night.
Coming 20 minutes from time, Conor Gallagher won the ball back in typical fashion and sent in a cross from the right flank which Dom met with an acrobatic scorpion kick that looped over Gianluigi Donnarumma and into the net.
The striker's finish - which scooped both the club's and the league's Goal of the Month award for that month - is one of the 10 contenders to be listed for the Goal of the Season in the top flight.
Voting closes at midday on Wednesday 27 May and you can help Dom win via the link below.
