We began the tournament with 12 representatives competing for their nations across the United States, Canada and Mexico with Andy Robertson's Scotland and Rodrigo Bentancur's Uruguay failing to progress to the next stage.
The first Spurs contingent to feature in the knockouts will be Dutch duo Micky van de Ven and Jan Paul van Hecke who take on Morocco on Tuesday, 30 June in Estadio Monterray, Mexico at 2am BST.
The defensive pair played the entirety of the 2-2 with Japan and 5-1 victory over Sweden and, whilst Micky was an unused substitute last time out, Jan Paul hasn't missed a minute and scored his first international goal in the 3-1 success against Tunisia to see them top Group F.
Next to go will be Lucas Bergvall when Sweden take on France in New York later on Tuesday at 10pm BST. Lucas made history as the youngest player to represent Sweden at a World Cup when he came on against Tunisia and provided an assist in their 5-1 victory. Further substitute appearances followed in that loss to the Netherlands and the 1-1 with Japan as Graham Potter's side progressed in third as one of the eight best third-placed sides.
On Wednesday, 1 July it's England and Djed Spence in action as they face DR Congo at Atlanta Stadium at 5pm BST. The flying full-back has featured in every game so far, starting in the goalless draw with Ghana, as the Three Lions topped Group L with victories over Croatia and Panama either side of that draw.
A few hours later will be Pape Matar Sarr's Senegal up against Belgium at Seattle Stadium at 9pm BST. The Teranga Lions went through as a best third-placed side thanks to a resounding 5-0 win over Iraq in the final group game. Pape has featured once so far, in the 3-2 defeat to Norway, and was an unused substitute in the 3-1 loss to France.
The following day (Thursday, 2 July) sees our one and only head-to-head in the last 32 as Kevin Danso's Austria face Pedro Porro's Spain at Los Angeles Stadium at 8pm BST. Kev featured in all three group games as his nation went through after a dramatic 96th-minute equaliser in a 3-3 draw with Algeria to finish runners-up in Group J.
Pedro, meanwhile, played the full contest in his country's 4-0 win over Saudi Arabia in his only appearance so far, remaining on the bench in their 0-0 stalemate with Cape Verde and 1-0 win over Uruguay.
In the early hours of Friday, 3 July, Luka Vuskovic's Croatia then take on Portugal in Toronto Stadium, Canada at 12am BST. The 19-year-old centre-back started their opening 4-2 defeat to England and has since been an unused substitute in their successive wins over Panama and Ghana to see them through.
Later that day, Cristian Romero and Marcos Senesi's defending champions Argentina round off the knockout action from a Spurs perspective up against World Cup debutants Cape Verde in Miami Stadium at 11pm BST. 'Cuti' has made two appearances with starts in the 3-0 win over Algeria and 2-0 win over Austria with Marcos making his tournament debut in their final 3-1 victory against Jordan.
