Tottenham are now eyeing a move to sign Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic this summer after he was made available for transfer, according to Caught Offside.
Thomas Frank is looking to strengthen his squad after his arrival from Brentford as the club's new manager, as the north London side prepare to compete in the Champions League in 2025/26 following their Europa League win last season.
Spurs have moved quickly this week to seal agreements for both Mohammed Kudus and Morgan Gibbs-White, but they're not done there and are now eyeing another addition.
Tottenham Want to Sign Vlahovic
Serbian is allowed to leave Juventus
The Serbian, who currently earns £315,000-a-week at Juventus, is set to leave the Allianz Stadium this summer as the Serie A club are desperate to get his wages off their books.
That has opened the door to a cut-price deal away, with the player open to a Premier League move, and Spurs could look to add him to their squad as an option to compete with Dominic Solanke as the starting striker.
A deal for Vlahovic could advance soon with a deal already agreed for both Kudus and Gibbs-White to make the move to north London for a combined £115m from West Ham and Nottingham Forest respectively.
Vlahovic is not the only striker who has been linked with a move to join Frank's squad, with the Dane looking at a move to reunite with Brentford star Yoane Wissa this summer.
The DR Congo star is reportedly available for around £50m and Spurs have already begun looking at the financials needed to make a deal happen. But they now face competition from Nottingham Forest for his signature, after the Reds made a formal offer to Brentford for the 28-year-old striker.
The offer was worth below their asking price, which leaves time for Spurs to respond, but it's possible they look to move for Vlahovic instead due to his availability and Juventus' willingness to do a deal.
