Jun’ai Byfield is set to miss Tottenham Hotspur matches due to growing pains in his back, according to Alasdair Gold.
The 17-year-old is one of Spurs’ biggest teenage talents; however, his chances of featuring again this season have now been cast into doubt.
Former Spurs boss Thomas Frank handed Byfield minutes against Borussia Dortmund and Frankfurt in the Champions League, along with one minute against Manchester City.

The defender has become part of the first-team squad in North London; however, back pains mean that he has been ruled out of action.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Gold said: “Jun’ai Byfield, I think is struggling a little bit at the moment with I think it’s something in his back.
“I think it’s just some growing pains or something. I think that was what I was told by someone.”
