Alan Shearer backs Tottenham to continue their struggles when they take on Fulham at Craven Cottage in the Premier League.

Life as Spurs manager did not begin well for Igor Tudor as he oversaw a 4-1 defeat at home against Arsenal.

He will be hoping to get his first win against Fulham on Sunday, but Shearer does not see that happening.

How many points will Tottenham take from their next four Premier League matches?

Alan Shearer predicts Fulham to beat Tottenham

Shearer believes that Fulham beating Sunderland at the Stadium of Light was a huge result for them, and they will carry that high into the game against Spurs.

The former Newcastle striker has seen Tottenham struggling all season, and having looked at how they played against Arsenal as well, he is not confident of them even getting a point against Marco Silva’s side.

In his view, a lot needs to happen in training for the Lilywhites to turn around their fortunes and start winning games in the Premier League.

He does not think that it will have taken place this week, and he has explained why he sees the Cottagers getting maximum points.

YES or NO: Will Tottenham be relegated this season? 👀

Shearer told the Metro: “It was a huge result for Fulham up at Sunderland last week, and there’s a real feel-good factor down there right now.

“As for Spurs, absolutely nothing gives me any confidence they can go away from home and actually win a game.

“London derbies, normally I would go for a draw, but nothing gives me confidence about Spurs at this moment in time.

“You will just hear the rest of the league talking about Tottenham if they were to be beaten again this weekend.

“I didn’t see any improvement last weekend, so they will have needed a big week on the training pitch to come up with answers.

“Prediction – Fulham win.”

Igor Tudor to bring about changes against Fulham

Tudor will have spent a lot more time with his players in training and will have understood them better.

He did not know too much ahead of the Arsenal game and only saw the players being deployed in Frank’s system.

There surely will be changes to the starting eleven, as it is important to send a message to the squad that it is a meritocracy.

Certain players will have impressed him in training as well, and it remains to be seen if he springs any surprises with his team selection.

While Fulham have done better than most expected this season, they are still there for the taking.

Spurs are expected to dominate possession, and scoring early could go a long way towards getting the three points and then building on it.
