Ruben Amorim will likely be keen to offload Marcus Rashford to Tottenham this summer.
The 40-year-old has made his feelings towards the England international no secret since taking over as Manchester United manager.
This saw the versatile forward depart on loan to Aston Villa, where he caught the eye despite not signing a permanent deal at the end of his temporary stint.
As a result, the door has been left open for a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which Amorim could welcome as the summer window moves deeper.
Amorim to sanction Rashford move to Tottenham
With Thomas Frank at the helm, there are likely to be several changes to refresh the Lilywhites after finishing 17th in the Premier League.

This has already begun with the signing of Mathys Tel permanently after his loan from Bayern Munich, and could be repeated with a deal for the United man.
The 27-year-old has been linked with a move to North London as well as Barcelona, but a switch to the latter now appears unlikely.
This could see Rashford make a move to Tottenham instead, even if a pay cut is required, given his sizable weekly wages at Old Trafford.
Former Brentford and Leicester City boss Martin Allen believes this deal could represent a risk for Spurs, but will be welcomed with open arms by Amorim and the Red Devils.
Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, Allen said: “He’d be a good loan player, but there are questions about his attitude.
“When you’re earning £300,000-a-week, I would expect you to be in training on time and to be doing extra work after training every day.
“I’m sure that the people in Manchester would be absolutely thrilled to get rid of him.
“He wants to go to Barcelona, but he’s nowhere near that level right now, in my opinion.
“When you’ve got a player with that kind of attitude, you’ve got a problem.
“Amorim will be delighted to get him a move, get him off the wage bill and put that money into the squad.“
Rashford could shine for Tottenham
It is fair to say that the N17 outfit can’t have a much worse domestic season than the one just gone, and need some additions to turn the tide.
This could see attacking reinforcements join the likes of Dominic Solanke and Brennan Johnson in forward areas for the Lilywhites.
Rashford could prove to be the perfect option given how much quality he possesses, showcased at Old Trafford and most recently at Aston Villa.
If this deal were to go through, it could prove to be bad news for Son Heung-min at Tottenham, but his future is yet to be cleared up at this stage.
