The Premier League campaign reached its climax on Sunday night, and both sides of north London ended the season in joyous mood for very different reasons.

Arsenal were crowned champions for the first time since 2004, and lifted the trophy at Selhurst Park after their final game of the season, where they beat Crystal Palace 2-1 ahead of their Champions League final clash against Paris Saint-Germain this coming weekend.

Tottenham, on the other hand, entered the final day knowing they needed to avoid defeat against Everton to cement their Premier League status for another season, and they defeated the Toffees 1-0.

Arsenal and Tottenham Stars Party Together

After being crowned champions, the Gunners went for a lavish night out in Mayfair to treat the non-playing members of staff at the club at a Mediterranean restaurant, according to The Sun.

It's also understood that backroom staff, including workers from Arsenal’s training ground were also invited, along with their loved ones, as the club marked their historic achievement. But while the venue was essentially hired out to keep it private, the party eventually moved on to TAPE nightclub, where Arsenal ran into some familiar faces.

It's understood that while there, Arsenal stars bumped into some players from rival side Tottenham, who were celebrating their survival in the same venue.

Despite the fierce rivalry between the two North London clubs, The Sun report both sets of players partied together into the early hours of the Bank Holiday morning.

Arsenal will now turn their attention to their trip to Budapest, where they will take on reigning French and European champions PSG in the Champions League final on May 30th, as they look to make history by lifting the trophy for the first time in their history.

Arsenal and Spurs Rivalry Still Exists

While the two sets of players may have been partying in the clubs after the season ended, there's no doubting that when they get back on the pitch next season the rivalry will remain as fierce as ever.

We saw this season when they met up that Arsenal were by far the best team, and performances over the campaign have proven that to be true. But Spurs will be desperate to avoid being in the same situation next season, and big changes are expected in the summer as a result.

That should make for an exciting match up next season, and this rivalry can be renewed once more.
