Arsenal should swoop in front of Tottenham and make a move to sign Crystal Palace attacker Eberechi Eze.
The Gunners are looking for more talent on the wings this summer. They need more depth after a season where Bukayo Saka suffered a hamstring injury which kept him out of action for over three months.
Furthermore, winger Gabriel Martinelli has been linked with a move to Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, meaning that they could be even thinners depth-wise come the start of the new season. With that in mind, Arsenal need to find top class attackers to bring in that they know will deliver and help them win a Premier League title.
One name that jumps out is Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze, who has been linked with Arsenal in the past, alongside several other top Premier League sides.
Arsenal should sign Eze ahead of Spurs

In recent days, it has been reported that Tottenham want to sign Eze, and new manager Thomas Frank is pushing for a deal to be done. According to the Standard, Spurs have agreed to pay the Palace star’s £68m release clause, and he could be Frank’s first signing at the club.
However, surely if Arsenal were to come in for the 26-year-old, he would prefer a move to the Emirates, with a better shot at the Premier League title. Furthermore, the chance to link up with England teammates Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka wouldn’t go a miss either.
Eze would be a brilliant addition to Arteta’s squad, he is one of the best on-the-ball attackers in the Premier League, able to create a chance from virtually nothing. Last season, he made 43 appearances for Oliver Glasner’s side, scoring 14 goals, and providing 11 assists.
Former Man United defender Rio Ferdinand is a huge fan of the 26-year-old. He told TNT Sports last season: “Smooth. If you’re talking about one of the smoothest ballers in the game, in the PL right now, Eze’s up there. Mad player. He’s playing like he’s in the cage. Just smooth, man. He doesn’t seem fazed either.”
Arsenal manage to concede less goals than Premier League title winners Liverpool last season, but they failed to score anywhere near as many. So why not go out and get one of the best creative players in the league. Add that onto buying a new number nine, and Arteta surely has a winning combination. Plus it would prevent Spurs from signing him, which is almost as worth it for Gunners fans.
