Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United target Porto striker, €100 million price tag for Vinicius Junior - Euro Transfer News

In Tuesday's Euro Transfer News, a trio of English clubs have targeted a Porto striker, while Real Madrid have slapped a €100 million price tag on Vinicius Junior. That is not all, though. Borussia Dortmund are keeping an eye on a River Plate prodigy and three Serie A sides are eager to sign Kim Min-jae from German giants Bayern Munich when the transfer window opens.

Arsenal, Spurs and Newcastle target Porto sensation

Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly face stiff competition from Newcastle United and Arsenal in their bid to sign Porto’s Samu Aghehowa.

Spanish outlet Fichajes believes the striker has caught the eye of the three Premier League giants after scoring 11 goals in 14 appearances across all competitions so far this season.

Newcastle and The Gunners both bolstered their attacking options in the summer, signing Nick Woltemade and Victor Gyokeres, respectively.

However, the reports from Spain suggest that they could still try and hijack Spurs’ move for Aghehowa.

"Samu Aghehowa's name has become one of the most coveted names in the European market," read the article.

"The 21-year-old striker, who boasts a spectacular goalscoring record with FC Porto , is attracting urgent interest from English clubs.

"Tottenham has already accelerated its moves, but faces stiff competition: Arsenal and Newcastle United are also anxiously monitoring his contract situation.

"January could determine his fate, as Porto faces financial pressures that could force them to consider offers even below his release clause."

€100 million price tag for Vinicius

Spanish website SPORT have said it would take €100 million to convince Real Madrid to sell Brazilian star Vinicius Junior.

The forward has been linked with a move away from Los Blancos after he was substituted during El Clasico.

Vinicius has been a key player for Madrid in recent years and finished second in the 2024 Ballon d’Or rankings behind Manchester City midfielder Rodri.

"With a contract until 2027, he himself halted his renewal in the summer, and according to reports from the player's entourage, his departure is beginning to gain traction," read the article.

"Either a sale in the next summer transfer window, valued at an affordable €100 million, or even forcing his release in 2027 without Real Madrid receiving any financial compensation.

"It would be the opposite of what happened with Mbappe and PSG, except that Vinicius is a player whose European career has only been tied to Real Madrid, which paid €45 million for his signing."

Dortmund keeping eye on River Plate prodigy

Journalist Florian Plettenberg reports that Borussia Dortmund are keeping an eye on River Plate’s Juan Cruz Meza.

The 17-year-old sensation is one of the most exciting prospects in South America after making 21 appearances across all competitions so far this season.

Cruz Meza’s contract with River Plate is set to expire in December 2026, and Plettenberg believes that several clubs in Europe are keen to sign him.

"Borussia Dortmund are also closely monitoring Juan Cruz Meza," he posted on X, formerly Twitter.

"BVB have carried out several live scouting visits on site. The 17-year-old attacking midfielder is under contract with River Plate until December 2026, and many top clubs from Europe are interested in him."

Serie A sides go after Bayern defender

Journalist Christian Falk has said that three Serie A sides are interested in signing Bayern Munich defender Kim Min-jae.

The South Korea international joined the German giants in the summer of 2023 after impressing with Napoli.

However, Kim has only made nine appearances across all competitions so far this season and could now be set for a return to Italy. Juventus, Inter Milan and AC Milan are all reportedly interested in a deal.

"Bayern Munich defender Kim Min-jae could be in demand in the 2026 summer window, although a potential exit in January cannot be ruled out," read the article.

"Min-jae has dropped down the pecking order at the club behind Dayot Upamecano and Jonathan Tah this season."
