We have teamed up with Scout to help bring you hints, tips and advice during the 2026/27 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) season.

Scout will be using their expertise to provide advice and gameweek tips which should prove useful in ensuring you win your mini-leagues.

This week, they take a look at the exceptional underlying numbers behind a high-scoring FPL performance from our team and profile a player to watch in Gameweek 10.

Best of Spurs

Jan Paul van Hecke (£5.0m) was the top FPL points-scoring player in Gameweek 9, registering an incredible 15 points for his goal, clean sheet, appearance points and three bonus points, which put him second across the league for expected goals (xG) and shots.

Andy Robertson (£4.3m) registered eight points in Gameweek 9. Robbo kept a clean sheet and returned two bonus points for his owners, while Antonin Kinsky (£4.4m) and Micky van de Ven (£5.0m) both registered six points for their clean sheets against Crystal Palace.

Archie Gray (£4.9m) collected five points for his goal, with Mo Kudus (£6.6m) returning seven points for his assist as well as a bonus point.

We have now kept back-to-back clean sheets in the league and have scored four goals in those matches, but were also league-leading with our attacking output against the Eagles.

In Gameweek 9, no other team produced more shots and xG than us, highlighting the benefits of investing in both our attack and defence for the upcoming weeks.

Spotlight: Micky van de Ven (£5.0m)

Captain Micky registered nine clean sheets in the league last season and with four already, he looks set to beat that over the course of this campaign.

He also looks set to have more shots and create more chances for his teammates this season. During the 2025/26 season, Micky had 14 attempts on goal and created six chances for his teammates, and across his opening eight appearances of this season, he has had four shots and created three shots already.

If he continues at this rate, the Dutch international will have 16.8 shots and will have created 12.6 chances. He has also received 512 passes in his opening eight appearances, with only JP having had more (693) across our squad, receiving a pass every 1.3 and 1.2 minutes, respectively.

Our number 37 has also been unfortunate not to register defensive contribution points so far this season.

Defenders need to register 10 or more defensive actions (clearances, blocks, interceptions and tackles won) in a single game to register the two additional points, and Micky missed out by just one defensive action against Nottingham Forest in Gameweek 3 and just two in Gameweek 2 against Newcastle.

Spurs’ most popular FPL asset

As a result of being the top FPL points scorer in the game in Gameweek 9, JP is our most transferred in player this week.

Our defender has already had over 140,000 transfers in, while Mo is also proving popular with FPL managers.

The Ghanaian winger has started in each of the last four gameweeks, and in those matches he has registered two assists as well as three clean sheet points and two bonus points.

In those four starts, Mo has supplied a team-leading 23 crosses and created six chances. He has also had nine shots, which is only bettered by Dom Solanke (£5.8m).

Since Gameweek 6, Mo has had more touches in the final third and the opponent’s penalty area than any other Spurs player.

His on-field positioning increases his appeal in FPL as he is in the right areas to be involved in goals scored.

Hidden Gem

Bournemouth’s Evanilson (£6.3m) scored for the fourth gameweek in a row in Gameweek 9. The Brazilian has blanked just twice this season and has produced eight attacking returns.
