Tottenham Hotspur fans will love what James Maddison has just shared regarding his rehabilitation after nearly seven months out of action.
The England international has been out with an ACL injury since last season, and Tottenham have desperately missed both his creativity and leadership.
Igor Tudor revealed a positive update on Maddison two weeks ago, stating that the midfielder has started working with the ball.
There is still uncertainty on whether the Spurs midfielder will play again this season, but the 29-year-old has just taken a major step towards a return.

The former Leicester City man appears to have crossed an important milestone in his efforts to return to action.
Maddison shared a video on his social media platform showing him working with the ball and taking shots at the goal on the pitches at Hotspur Way.
The Englishman, who appears to be moving very well, wrote on X: “Session 6 months post ACL surgery. Working hard to be back. Video of what it looks like out on Sunday at 6 pm on my YouTube channel.”

That video dropped on Sunday, showing Maddison back doing some warm-up training drills with a few of the first-team squad earlier this month.
Can Maddison boost Spurs’ survival chances?
Tottenham’s senior players have labelled each one of their seven remaining matches as ‘finals‘, as they desperately try to secure the club’s Premier League status.
With the club having not won a single league game in 2026, they are going to need all the help they can get, and Maddison’s return would certainly come as a big boost.
Even if the attacking midfielder can play a part in the final two or three games of the season, his quality could be the difference between Tottenham staying up and going down.
